NeNe African Hair Braiding

I love NeNe African Hair Braiding! First timer with them and they were amazing. I’m always concerned about the braiding technique and the non tension and they gave me just that. Been braided up for almost a month. The headband braid as I call it I did too give myself a different look. I can do anything with these braids. Definitely going back for a touch up and fresh new braids!

10/10 Knotless Box Braids! They were super patient as I had just gotten of work! The braids were not too tight around my edges nor too thick and a lovely length for the price!

I’m very particular about my hair and I typically braid it myself. My cousin recommended NeNe’s and to save some time I decided to try out her shop. The shop itself was nice, bright, and clean. I got knotless braids. They were reasonably priced, came out great, and are not too tight. Everyone there was very nice. She’s definitely gained a customer.

My favorite place to go and get me hair braided. I got boho braids and my daughter got box braids. They were fast, professional, and these were the neatest braids we’ve ever had. They don’t braid super tight and my head never hurts after I leave. Only letting this shop braid my hair from here on out. Book now, you won’t regret it

I came in for box braids at about 11 and left about 1:45…I will be only coming here to get my hair done! They were fast and on top of that did quality work. It came out sooooo good! They were friendly and shop was clean and kept up! Thank you all again.

Nene used to braid my hair at the salon in Belleville. She always did a wonderful job. I haven’t been to the shop in Ypsilanti but I know Nene is the real deal.

These are the best knotless braids I've ever had. Very neat. The best part, I was done with small mid back knotless in 2hours!!!!!!!

Danielle has done my daughters hair a couple of times now, and each time her hair has turned out phenomenal!! Her box braids stay for months, and still look amazing!👏

I brought my daughter here last minute with wet hair from leaving another ship’s chair where we had to leave mid-service. She fit my daughter in, explained to her the issues with what she wanted done to her hair and what can reasonably be achieved, explained proper care for her locs & gave her a retwist. She was friendly & personable. I recommend this shop. The shop was clean, no wait for service.

Was very impressed with the level of service. Great service, clean shop, courteous. I got some box braids and they were done quickly and very neat. Also did cornrow braids for my daughter who can be a bit tender headed but it all went so smoothly, no tagging or pulling on her scalp. Also reasonably priced.
We will definitely be coming back and referring friends. Thanks for the great service. Keep it up!!!

I had a great experience getting my Senegalese twists on Friday. My braider (Danielle) was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions about length & upkeep. I also had my 5 month old with me and they welcomed him with smiles. Definitely going back when it's time.

If you are looking for a place to get your hair braided... THIS IS THE PLACE! The place was emaculate the braided were kind and professional. If you have sensitive scalp.... NO WORRIES. They are very gentle. They take their time to make sure your hair is braided to perfection. I am VERY HAPY with my braids. They look AMAZING!

This was my 2nd time receiving box braids and I am very happy. Considering I wanted the braids a bit smaller/longer this visit, they still treated me nicely and answered my questions. I’m just disappointed I forgot to leave my tip (they deserved it)!! I won’t next time.
Definitely worth a visit.

Ne-Ne and her assistants done a great job on my daughter's hair. They did exactly what she wanted and more! Wish I would have taken pictures but my daugther left before I could. I highly recommend if your looking for quality work!
