Brentwood Park

This was only the second day this park has been open and it was crazy busy. We weren't familiar with the area but the parking situation is terrible and I feel sorry for the people who live in the apartments because it appears that this park was built right at their back doors. Having said that.. it is a beautiful play place for the kids with a solid wooded play fort with suspension bridges and slides. A setup for 2 ziplines, rock walls for climbing and a splash park all in a beautifully landscaped park. There is a multi level observation deck as well as a covered area with picnic tables. Unfortunately for the landscaping the placement is in harms way and I'm afraid that a lot if it isn't going to survive the rigors of a playground. There were signs imploring people to stick to the walkways to protect the landscaping but little kids can't read and unfortunately from what I observed neither can a lot if the adults..I guess time will tell if the design was successful or not.

Great new park for kids. Really well designed and has a nice walking trail. Parking is a little tight with the park being new so just plan to walk a little ways but worth it.

This park is so awesome but it is not setup for toddlers. Its for ages 3 and up. The slide is super slick and kids come flying off it not for the weak... lol.

So much fun, really enjoyed it. Kids really liked it too!
Starting with the PROs: its FREE, bathrooms are clean, restocked. Playground is wheelchair friendly with ramps and wide sidewalks. Playground design is well thought out and a great locality for it. Nice picnic spaces! Fun playground options for older and youngers kids alike!

CONs:
-Zip line rope gave my daughter a skin burn, as no signs are posted to NOT lean into rope. We saw another girl with worse injury, big rope burns, and a big goose egg on her forehead from zip line. Def need safety signs out there!!!
-Water refilling station by the bathrooms wasnt turned on yet, could only find 1 functioning one. Hopefully that'll get rectified soon and more are installed along the paths.
-Not a ton of shade, and lots of asphalt, so be generous with sunblock even on cloudy days. This can be easily solved with stretching canopy over some parts of playground.
-A bit low on parking, but hopefully that will get worked out too. Most southern Brazeau entrance at Brentwood Blvd is NOT labeled as one way, ugh, a bit of a mess trying to figure out parking.

Only other comment is that smelled second hand smoke on playground, but didnt see any signs for no smoking.

Awesome park I’ve been waiting for! Connects to other paths around Brentwood. Very smooth paths that worked for long boarding, and I plan to run here as well.

Just opened today so crowded but so much fun stuff to do. Awesome water play area. So much climbing. Swings. Smaller kid areas including a flat astroturf area where I saw several happy babies crawling!

Finally a destination Park near us! This was a mix of O'Day and Indian camp Creek parks. Plenty to do. Parking lot seems small in proportion to the amount of people the playground could accommodate.

Great space a lot to do. Parking was the only issue.

Incredible Public Space!

Nice park! It’s a great place for a walk. The tunnel is a nice touch, so you don’t have to cross a busy road. Things are still being worked on, therefore you might come across a few obstacles. It will look so much better when the grass comes in.

Beautiful Park. Much more still under constuction. Ribbon cutting ceremony 6/2/23. This may be the jewel of Brentwood for the next 30 years or more
