Best hardware stores around,you can always get help,will answer questions and go the extra mile. I miss these stores,wish there was more of them. I went to 2 big box places and wanted keys for my 9 year old grandaughter. She wanted princess and hello kitty and the gentleman cut them and made her day. I couldnt thank him enough. Ah the good old days of customer service and helpful employees!

Carmelita was extremely helpful when I called asking about a warranty repair on my Ego blower.

Rather than just say, "We don't do that" or "Call Ego" she had several suggestions.

Turns out, Ego had given me some bad information by telling me to bring it to Lowes where they provided no help.

The answer is to bring Ego products, and others, for repair to Ready Repair on North Warson Road.

More stores should have nice, caring people like Carmelita working for them!

It's an Ace Hardware, not very large but has what you usually need. The staff is always available and very helpful.

Female employee I cannot remember her name but is always helpful and make sure we find what we needed.

The Manager was very friendly and knowledgeable made us feel very welcome.

The Manager, Alyssa, helped correct a situation with my $1400 that did not come with necessary parts. She came to my house and delivered a floor model for me and took the defective Grill back to the store. Thank you, you saved my weekend!

A surprising "St Louis Best Kept Secrets", although I usually associate those with trendy restaurants. How this got started was that I went to Home Depot to get a key cut and the man there was very kind in pointing me to Westlake Ace Hardware because Home Depot couldn't cut the key. I would never have known where it was because, although it's on Manchester right near the corner of Brentwood not far from that big old ugly Schnucks on the corner, you just don't find it in your visual frame when you're driving. The man at the Westlake Ace Hardware was funny, good looking, and very efficient with cutting keys. Talk about a win.

Every single employee that I interacted with at this store was incredibly helpful and kind. I needed a certain primer and it wasn't on their shelves. One of the gentlemen working called another nearby store to ensure they had it and would set it aside for me. I really appreciated the service.

The best Ace Hardware I've been to hands down. They've got so much additional stuff the other locations don't have it's impressive. This is the first location that I've seen with blade sharpening too. Very helpful staff too!

Alyssa was more than accommodating to assist with an exchange of a grill we purchased for our father.

I have shopped there twice. Each time they met me right at the front, wiling to show where many hardware items were stocked.

I seriously haven't figured out why I don't come here more. It's like going to home Depot or Lowe's but with actual employee help rather than the "don't interfere with humans in their natural environment" approach. Shelby is the man!!!

I had a great experience at this store on 9/12/2020. I was putting together a fire pit and i stripped a bolt that came pre-packaged (purchased from Home Depot). I went to Ace to replace the bolt and picked out one that appeared to be identical. At the counter, the person working noticed it was $12 and asked me if I was sure it was right. I wasn't sure so he literally stopped what he was doing and walked back there with me and showed me that a) I had the wrong price and b) that there were plenty of much more affordable options that would suit my needs. Saved me $10. I really appreciated the level of service, which I can't imagine you'd find at one of the big box stores.

Love my local Ace. Everyone who works there are very knowledgable and friendly! A surprisingly large selection of everything for a smaller store than the big box stores, and good prices. Super grilling and smoking section. During the summer they have a great plant section outside also. I shop here frequently!!! Its nice to have a close hardware store that is well stocked.

I placed an order online to have it shipped to the store. The staff was very friendly. While I waited for my packages I looked around. The store is clean, well organized. Although I just picked up my order on that visit, I will definitely go back to shop in the near future.

Ordered a snow blower online for pick up on a snowy Saturday morning. I became increasingly worried that they would sell out before my order could be processed. I called and asked if they could check the stock for me. Mason did so very quickly and let me know that my order was being processed already. When we went to pick it up, Mason helped us again. A co-worker was available to help carry it to the car right away. Superb experience! So helpful!

I love the care and friendliness of the employees. They are so very helpful and I'm able to find what I need quickly without having to walk forever through a huge big box store.
