Woodmere Cemetery

I can’t speak to the quality of services, but I very much enjoy peaceful and reflective walks through this cemetery. It’s lovely space to “get lost” in. There are many interesting people buried here, and several international areas. I love to read the stones, brush the ones ones off, and think about the lives of all of the loved ones buried here. The place seems very well maintained. I really appreciate this space being open to the public and as I have had over 50 enjoyable walks here in the past few years.

I tell everybody about the cemetery it’s magnificent. I’ve been coming here since 1965 to visit my grandpa. My grandma died in 1994. This is their wedding picture they are right on Indian Hill next to Carhartt. I love the cemetery they keep it up beautifully. I can’t even imagine somebody not giving it a five star. It’s fantastic there even just a drive-through and look at all the older grave sites from the industrial era. It’s truly a treasure.

All my Greats are buried here, I call often to get them risen & within only a couple days I receive I call back that it has been completed, Gabriel & Sommer are an amazing help! also a very very historic cemetery.

My son is buried here. The people have always been nice to me.

6/9/23. Went to Woodmere cemetery to clean off graves of my parents and siblings yesterday. Very pleased to see pond had been cleaned up; a year ago it was terrible. Newly paved road going to my brothers grave felt good. Lots of mature unique trees in Woodmere...very beautiful. Quite a bit to take care of. Keep up the good work. Much appreciated.

Matthew is wonderful great customer service made us feel comfortable stay in contacts with us making sure we had a cleared understanding of what we was paying for .I loved there professionalism toward my family.I am very pleased with the service I received from the cemetery and on top of everything.Their grounds are well kept up which was a plus for me. Thanks again for allowing my Dad service to go well. Only thing I didn't like was his head stone beach was missing the creamation canisters so hopefully that will get fixed but I think that wasn't there mistake but the company mistake.

A horrible event came about yesterday. My family and i went to my mom's grave for a late Birthday celebration. When we got there i was shocked to see I could not see the stone it was buried from a new burial. So I called the office. A lady named Summer answered and said everything would be fixed. Summer was kind and caring. I am excited to see that it will be fixed.

I recently visited my grandmothers grave, it had been 50 years since anyone had been there and it was difficult to find. Tracy Campbell was profession and extremely helpful as were the rest of the staff I interacted with. Thank You

We had been trying to locate my 2nd great grandfather’s gravesite for some time with little to go on besides an old black and white photo of the family headstone and an old death certificate stating he had died in the Detroit area. I called Woodmere Cemetery and spoke with Tracy in the office and she was very helpful researching and locating the location of his grave. She sent me a map of the location and had their groundskeeper mark the spots of both my great great grandparents unmarked graves. My family is very happy and grateful to finally know where their resting place is. A special thanks to Tracy and the staff at Woodmere for all the help you gave us locating them.

Old, historic cemetery with many Hungarian graves. It was well maintained when I was there in 2017-18.

They became family. They care about you and your loved ones. Jason and the rest of the groundsmen keep. The yards beautiful. My sweet boy is in here.

I Love This Cemetery My Daughter Sarah Renee McHenry is Buried Here She Was 10yrs Old She Got Hit By A Car On Martin And Waldo Right Across The Street From Her School At Our lady Queen Of Angel’s… We As Parent’ Petition For The Traffic Light To Be Put Up There For The Children To Be Able To Cross The Street Safely To Go To School And Arrive Safely…So No Other Children Would Be Hurt…And To Have Parent Not To Go Through What I Have Gone Through As A Parent I Was There And Seen The Whole Thing Happen To Her And I Can’t Get It Out Of My Head And What My Eyes Seen That Morning 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I Miss Her Every Minute Of My Life..😘😘😘😘😘😘…..R.I.P. My Darling Daughter My Guardian Angel 👼 Always With Me …..❤❤❤❤❤❤
