Absolutely a fantastic dinner! Perch was delicious and the options for soup (clam chowder yummy!) or salad or Cole slaw - macaroni and cheese or potatoes or veggies with your meal - options galore and don’t forget the rice pudding for dessert! For $12.99 you cannot beat this dinner and the service was outstanding as well. Will be back again and again!!!!

Great Fish Fry at a reasonable price. Our waitress was pleasant and our order was delivered quickly. Hats off to all the cooks and waitresses. And thank you for serving us.

Was told they have the best biscuits and gravy so i had to see for myself. The biscuits were very light and fluffy and the gravy was very good. Planning on returning to try other dishes. Wait staff very friendly and relatvely fast service.

My husband and I have been there many times over 20 years. Great customer service, amazing food.

This was a very pleasant place to eat! The help, waitresses and cook 👨‍🍳s were not young, but they were special! They were Pro’s, smiles😀 on their faces, uniforms, politeness and knowledgeable! Yes this idea 💡 was from yesterday’s era! The place was packed for g👀d reason, the food 🥘 was Definitely Delicious 😋! We ordered Blueberry pancakes 🥞 and sausage 😋, Fried Walleye Pike, coleslaw and French Fries 🍟. This place maybe a diner but it is a must try place the f👀d 🥘is DELICIOUS 😋!

I always order chicken noodle soup( take out) the ladies are very nice and friendly the soup is tasty and hit the spot of comfort food and warms up the heart and the homemade bread Omg! Delicious!!!

This is a quant restaurant that has a homey feel to it. I have been there before, and I will be going back. They treat you like family.

We don't come here for atmosphere. This restaurant has the feel of a small diner, run by people who care about what they are serving to their customers. That is the atmosphere.

The food is great! Recognizable entrees, executed with love.

The staff is friendly and attentive. One chef came out and spoke to us about our meal. I don't think they are used to having small kids dining in the restaurant. Most of the clientele is older folks and regulars. This place is a diamond in Michigan.

George’s Family Restaurant is an unpretentious restaurant – almost a diner. What they do have is a good menu, friendly service, well prepared food and great prices. My wife and I stopped in for dinner on a Friday evening. As usual, there was a line of people waiting to be seated at a booth. Since my wife and I didn’t really care, we took a couple of seats immediately at the counter.

My wife ordered the calves’ liver with sautéed onions, mashed potatoes and vegetables (corn and green beans). I had the whitefish with French fries. All meals include soup, salad or coleslaw to start and a scoop of ice cream or a small dish rice pudding to finish. Both of our dinners were nicely prepared and tasted very good; the portion were ample.

Here’s the best part. My wife and I spent more on our breakfast at a diner this morning than we did on our dinners at George’s! I’m giving the restaurant 5 stars – not because of the ambience nor because of a fancy menu. I’m giving it 5 stars because you get a good meal with great, friendly service at the best prices I have found anywhere. Give George’s a try and you’ll be surprised by how nice a meal you’ll have and how little you’ll spend.

If you want to feel like you're at home, go to Georges. The people are great and food is real good

Amazing restaurant that is currently still thriving time and time after I come here I always recommend it all the food is good and you can really tell they care about you when your being servered I’m never afraid to ask for something I need whenever I come I highly suggest coming here at least once
