Camille's Bakery

Camille’s Bakery is a cozy, friendly place to enjoy a light lunch and/or dessert. My mom, daughter and I ate lunch there on a recent Monday. My daughter loved her cheese quesadilla and my mom thoroughly enjoyed her quiche. I had the Mexican salad; the greens were fresh and crisp with just the right amount of dressing. The Rooibus iced tea was especially refreshing! We all shared a pineapple upside down cake, which was rich and flavorful. My daughter and I returned for lunch a week later. We took home a small chocolate frosted chocolate cake for my son. It was so good that my son did not give anyone else in the family a chance to sample it; he ate it all!

Whenever I have time to kill near countryside village I stop in here. The quiche is great. I really like their breakfast burritos. I actually changed the way I drink coffee because of their recommendation. Pour over coffee with a splash of almond milk and a hint of agave syrup.

Today I found Camille's b/c Le Quartier had moved and I was searching for something to eat at Countryside Village. I bought a 3 cheese quiche and the chocolate mousse. I didn't get her name, but the gal at the counter was great. She instantly had answers to my ingredient questions and she was so pleasant. :-) I was on the 2nd half of a long walk and wanted to eat on the way. Once I bit into that quiche I had to stop so I could savor every bite. The best quiche ever - light and rich at once with a flaky, flavorful crust without that "salty" taste. Why can't other high end bakeries learn to make crust like this?! The chocolate mousse was light, chocolatey and not too sweet. I found their 2022 video when I got home, and enjoyed learning about Camille and James and how Camille's came to be. Thank you for doing the video! I am grateful that you chose Omaha to open Camille's and share your life experiences with food. I don't live close to that area, but I will now make a point of going frequently so I can work through everything on the menu.

A little gem of a bakery. Their confections are great and so are the items on their savory menu. I'm glad I tried the sweet potato taco; 취향저격. Salty, a little spicy, refreshing and slightly sweet from the sweet potato. If I lived close by I'd probably regularly come in to get lunch.
Camille and her family are very sweet and brings a personal touch to the whole experience. I'd definitely like to swing by on my next visit to Omaha for more sweets and to try their biria tacos. There are also many little stores in the same complex if you need more reasons to visit!

Hands down best carrot cake I've ever had. I dont know if it's how she makes all of her baby carrot cakes or if it's because we put a note on the order that we'd appreciate a less sweeter one, but the carrot cake was rich in flavor, dense and moist, and the cream cheese frosting** It wasn't 'cheesecake-flavored sugar frosting,' it tasted like real cream cheese but slightly sweet and fluffier textured, like frosting!
The confections are really fairly priced that I think you wouldnt hesitate on trying something everyday, and the truffles are really great as well in flavor and pleasant texture, a little cracking crunch on the outside and velvety on the inside, even after sitting in my fridge for a few days!

I can’t say enough about this place. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted and made to feel at home. The food choices were great and hands down of the best Quiche we have ever had. We are from out of town, otherwise I would be here all the time. Thank you for making such delightful treats.

Awesome local bakery! Delicious French desserts and cakes. The turkey enchiladas are good too. Rare find!

I love Camille’s - the pastries are always delicious and fresh and I love supporting a local small business. Highly recommend both to stop in for a pastry or two or to order full quiches and other yummy treats for your events!

I ordered a chocolate almond torte cake last minute online yesterday for my friend's birthday & it was ready for pickup in just an hour. She said it was the best birthday cake she's ever had in her life! Thank you for the fast & friendly service.

I’ve seen the hype about this place and decided to try it out today, the cinnamon roll was incredible. Tender, flaky, depth of flavor. It was so comforting! I’m a baker myself and it was just amazing. I bought a bunch of other treats too and let me tell ya, it’s all amazing. It’s so cute inside and the nicest family. Please check it out!!!

I am so happy my husband found Camille’s Bakery. Each year for my birthday, instead of getting a cake, my husband buys an assortment of baked goods for our family to try. We just cut off pieces and share. It’s my favorite birthday tradition. Today, I literally got to try every sweet treat Camille’s had to offer. Wow! Delicious!

I am a chocolate girl through and through. There were many great chocolate items, but the best part of getting an assortment is getting something you might not pick if you went to the counter and ordered. The fruit tarts were AMAZING. There was an almond patty of some sort that was one of the best things I’ve tasted. The Italian cream cake was decadent and delicious. I can’t pick a favorite. If you want a treat for someone you love, or someone that you want to like you more, get them a treat from Camille’s

Next time I will make sure to try and savory item in addition to my dessert. I wish I had taken pictures but we pretty much dug in about 30 seconds after putting it on the table. I assure you, everything was just as beautiful as it looks on their website.

Edit: Upon returning to my cake, I think what I earlier called Italian Cream Cake was probably Carrot Cake. Either way, it is still one of the best cakes I’ve ever eaten. This is coming from the person who had no less than 7 different kinds of cake at her wedding.

Ordered a pineapple upside down cake for my husband’s birthday. The cake was still warm when I picked it up. It was a beautiful cake that tasted as good as it looked! The staff was friendly and accommodating and I highly recommend!

Camille's Bakery is the place you run out to when you're craving things you've only ever seen/heard of on the Great British Bake-Off. I tried a profiterole for the first time here today and it was the exact pick-me-up I needed. Camille knows how to bake, and it is evident that she really loves to, too. Her raspberry scones are amazingly dense, delicious and a tiny bit chewy on the inside, making them nothing like most of the scones I've tasted at coffee shops, and her chocolate walnut meringues are a wonderfully light but chocolatey-sweet treat. Camille is very down to earth and makes you feel instantly welcome, the prices are reasonable given that this saint of a woman is baking things most people would never attempt to on their own. Stop in and treat yoself! You won't regret it. (Also, if sweets aren't your thing, she also makes cauliflower curry, turkey enchiladas, sweet potato tacos, and other savory meals you can take home or eat right there.)

Birria Tacos!!! This place is so eclectic and refreshing. Definitely a hidden gem in Countryside Village. We got there in the morning and he graciously made the delicious tacos for us! The consomme was amazing as were the tacos and pb cookies.

Absolutely amazing bakery! The sweet potato tacos are absolutely delicious and the feta in it is so flavorful! Perfect for vegetarians! Can't wait to try the cauliflower curry next.

I love this place! I’m obsessed with the turkey enchiladas and the cauliflower curry. I just tried the tacos today and they are a new favorite!! The owners are so great and the service is amazing.

What a great bakery. They make, from scratch, all the bakery goods you're looking for and can fill party orders. Oh, and did I mention the tapas. You have to try the turkey enchiladas. They're great.
