Have been coming here since i was a little kid. Delicious food, great owner, works so hard.

Used to eat here as a kid. I’m 38 now and still love it. Always good and the portions are huge. Yes they did get new owners within the last few years BUT the food is still the same IMO. I see a lot of comments suggesting this place went downhill with the new owners and I disagree completely. I might be mistaken but I believe the new owners are family members of the old owners and the cook is the same.

The food tastes just as good as it did when I was a kid. Sweet and sour chicken or almond chicken are my favorite and the egg rolls are the best!!!! Truly, my favorite Chinese place.

The food is always good, and ordering is quick and convenient normally taking no more then 10-15 minutes from placing the order. Staff has always been friendly each time I go in.

This is hands down, the OG of Chinese cuisine! I love the owner and all of the food! The almond chicken is EVERYTHING!!!! I have been eating here for almost 40 years. The sweet and sour shrimp! OMG

People are more prone to give bad reviews than good ones. I’ve never had a bad dinner here. I think some of the reviews are unfair and comparing this to Panda Express is rather uncouth. A lot of restaurant owners have worked very hard, especially now. The staff is always so kind and attentive.

My first time here tonight, never tried it and got a late night want for some Chinese food. Very fresh food, crispy but not burned chicken and the egg roll was great. Service was very friendly as well. Definitely not my last time here!!! Had sweet and sour chicken.

I've dined in as well as taken out on a number of occasions and the food is always well priced for large portions. Every staff member I've spoken with on the phone or in person are very sweet and helpful. I've asked a couple of questions and when they didn't know they were honest and got me answers in a very timely manner. Will definitely keep going back for more. Wonderful place!

My family loves the sweet&sour chicken & general tsos chicken.
Soup is amazing. Egg rolls are always fresh. Have been coming to this Chinese place since I was a small child

Placed an order to go..very friendly cashier was glad to sit down to help me with my order! Food was ready FAST..and you get enough for 2 meals in 1! Ordered Guy Kow, Almond Chicken & Lg Egg Drop Soup...cost was $20.00...Food was Delicious!! Real Chinese Veggies..Loved It!

Always absolutely outstanding and worth the visit!! Qsked if they are ever going to reopen dining room and response was if they could get some good help ☹ so sad.. but food is outstanding!!

This is my favorite Asian food restaurant. Nobody does almond chicken like them. I compare every other Asian restaurant to Hawaiian Island. The rice is delicious. The pepper steak is good. The almond cookies are a great meal ender. The meals are so large you won't be able to finish in one sitting. The staff is always great. I've been going since I was little, so like 25 years and I don't plan on stopping. Go there, get a combo plate and thank me later.Enjoy

Edit** The food has been really good the past few times we were there. Changing my review to 5 stars** Used to be the best Chinese place downriver in our familie's opinion. Now the food is really bland and not the same. Staff is absolutely wonderful though! Always very kind!

Ate here for the first time Sunday 12/8/19. Was impressed with buffet. Very reasonable price and quality of food was good. 2 ladies working were friendly, efficient, and everything was as well as expected. I will go again!

Really good mix of Cantonese foods. Always tastes great. You get alot for your money. This place is in an out of the way spot so it is rarely busy. It is worth the drive. It is casual but so are the prices. Fair tradeoff.

Service here was wonderful and very fast. The workers and owner are so nice and pleasant. My favorite place to eat at and the rice is the bomb. 100% recommend to everyone.
