Kids' Hair

I went here to get my daughters first haircut done! Not only did the stylist do an amazing job, she put a cute little braid in her hair and saved some of her hair and put it in a first haircut sheet. LOVE!!!

Went here for my son's first salon haircut and we were worried he'd be afraid and cry. Pam did such a great job with him. Gave him a toy to distract him, which worked like a charm. We had to stay very close to keep our son calm, but Pam didn't complain about us being in her workspace. She was so gentle and caring, and tried to work quickly. Great experience. Will definitely come back!

Mitzi did a great job on both my daughters hair. I think this was our second time seeing her and it won't be our last. This time my daughters got their hair washed which they enjoyed. Mitzi cut their hair how I wanted and even added layers. Mitzi is great at what she does!

This is the second kids hair location I have brought my son to. He had the same stylist, Mitzi, three times. He had a wonderful time and loves his fresh look. They also allowed me to reschedule twice without penalty and rescheduling was easy on the website.

Great place to take kids!

This is a very kid friendly hair salon. The staff is wonderful. There is a TV at every station so kids can watch a movie or cartoon. Kelly L has cut my daughter's hair for years. Reasonably priced.

We have been bringing our kids to Kids' Hair in Apple Valley for a few years and love seeing Mitsi and Pam each time. We've also had cuts from other staff and they all do a great job. It's worth the cost of the haircut!

Really Profesional and the haircut was really quick and was done exactly how I wanted it for my 2 year old son that would stop moving. Maria was really gentle, nice and fast and helped love this place!

Wonderful place for kid’s haircut. We got our daughter’s first haircut from Apple Valley location. The stylist was very nice and professional. Highly recommended.

An Excellent place for Babies Haircuts ,
Scheduling is no complication & their whole staff is very professional yet friendly & Mostly baby/kid Friendly. Our experience with baby's First haircut was very pleasant Even though baby did cry (He was fine afterwards) The Stylist was very patient and comforting & was able to continue his haircut in a timely manner . This place is just wonderful & Definitely will visit in the future I do recommend this place to others ☺

I brought my daughter in fairly last minute to get her haircut. It was really easy to make an appointment online, and Chloe Z brought us right back when we got there so there was no waiting. I LOVE that there is a small TV at every cutting station to keep kids preoccupied. I'm sure the stylists love that too ;). We will be back.

Been coming to the Apple Valley store for years with both kids. Staff makes the kids comfortable and happy. Fun add-ons with colors and braids for the kids as well.

We came in here for our daughters first hair cut. JoAnna was so sweet, and was so nice to her that it made her first time experience that much more special and we were there 30 mins before closing, we did make an appointment online before hand. Love her hair cut! And will def come back.

Update: Pam is the best! Even my little one says, "only Pam cuts my hair" (after chopping off a little piece at school!) We even asked if he wanted to go to the same place as his much older brother and he said ," No! I want Pam to cut my hair!"
Pretty decent place. Prices are ok. Staff knows how to deal with kiddos who don't want their hair cut. Our kiddo was being really good and the stylist was talking to him and getting him to interact while cutting his hair. Another much younger kiddo was screaming and the other stylist was just getting the cut done, which is what I would want.

We have gone to this location twice to see Pam for my toddler son's haircuts and she does a great job and is very good with him! He has always been very calm and comfortable during his haircuts. We will continue going there for his haircuts!

They got me in right away. They were very friendly. Patient with washing her hair. And it was really nice to get a certificate of my daughter's first haircut.

I've brought my toddler son to see two different stylists at kids hair, we've been very pleased with both experiences. Today Pam taught me, as the mom, how to distract my son so she could give him his first short haircut as he has always had long hockey hair. She's incredibly patient, kind, and clearly has loads of experience with children. Will definitely be back!

My son is autistic and has meltdowns with every haircut. My mother in-law has cut his hair in the past, because I am so afraid to take him to a public place. She was unable to cut his hair due to surgery. So I googled places and found this place. There was a mixup with our appointment but they were so kind and got us in fast.
Kelly cut my sons hair and was so sweet with him. She stopped when she could tell he was having a hard time. She would talk to him about the movie they had on right in front of him. I could tell she loved what she did. Everyone in the place was so kind and happy to be at work. The place was clean and great atmosphere.
Not one tear or scream came from my son. I will be returning to this place in the future. LOVED my sons hair cut too! Great work!

This place is incredible! Our son had his first haircut here. They were so patient and worked so hard to make sure he had a good experience. Friendly stylists. They have a great set up to distract your little one from what is going on. We even had a mix up where our phone # was incorrect in the system and they tried to cancel the first hair cut. Obviously we didn't get the call. They still managed to work us in on time even though they were down staff. Awesome folks. Highly recommend!

My son was terrified and cried the whole time but they were so patient with him and did an excellent job on his first haircut. Highly recommend stopping in for young children.
