Food was delicious. Very big portions, well worth the money. Had the fried mushrooms as an appetizer and they were HUGE, the biggest I’ve ever had from a restaurant. Had enough leftovers to take home for another meal. Service was fast and friendly.

Excellent choice we made for dinner Wednesday night Valentines day! Prime Rib, was the best we've had out in quite a while. Love the layout, libations we're nice and cold, staff we're cordial and helpful. Heard about the place for a while, but we feel that we made a great choice and will return often.

Always enjoy the food there. I had the shareable Coconut shrimp and it was over cooked. The breading on it was really dark. Had to peel it off the shrimp. Also the House Salad and the Fish and Chips were good. Still will continue to eat there.

Make reservations online or expect a wait to be seated. This place is huge, like a mini city. Goes out over the water about 100 ft. We went on a Friday and heard a great band. I tried the cod with hush puppies and a salad. Everything was delicious. A very large portion of cod, took home for hubby. Will go back, very nice atmosphere. I want to try the lunch specials for under $10 next.

The Brisket stuffed avocados are amazing best appetizer I’ve had in along time. Can’t beat their pizza deal either, love this place definitely a favorite!

Lovely gem right here in Gibraltar on the water! I was surprised how good the J.P. Nachos were, you will definitely be back for them! If you love onion rings they have the biggest you've ever seen. So far everything I've had has been delicious. From the wings to the Coco Shrimp!

Just amazing, looking for a place that seems away "away from Downriver". This place is located in humbug Marina Gibraltar. Our food was absolutely amazing anything you could expect from a menu right there on the water. Highly recommended coconut colossal shrimp. My wife and I had a great time we'd definitely come back. Great service, beautiful atmosphere.

Overall the experience at JP’s has been nothing but exciting! Wonderful staff, great food, and welcoming atmosphere. I highly encourage everyone to try the shrimp po boy! Fantastic sandwich with tons of flavor. Huge thanks to the food truck staff for rocking out orders with a full restaurant of hungry customers. Keep up the hard work!

First time here and I LOVE atmosphere of this place!! It was lively and pretty packed. Came for a late dinner on a Thursday at about 7:30, but only waited about ten minutes for an open table. The Tequila Lime Chicken Nachos dish was HUGE and soo good! The chicken was a little spicy, but not too much. Overall really enjoyed my experience here and can't wait to return in the summer for patio views and to hear the live bands play ☺

I've been a fan of ther Taylor location for a long time, and decided to take the drive.
They're doing it right! They have similar menus to other places but they pay attention to detail and it's noticeable. Place was slammed, first 80° day of the year and our food and drinks come out perfect!

This is our go to restaurant. Awesome food, great service and Dean is the best manager in the business! The chicken wings are my favorite and my wife loves their coconut shrimp. Dine in or pull up in your boat... Let's go!

On our way home from cutting down a Christmas tree, we stopped for a bite. Our son loved his pizza and the Wife really enjoyed the salmon. I had the JP burger cooked medium with Swiss and mushrooms! it has been a few hours and I was just thinking about it? It was a great burger!

This is a hidden gem on the waterfront with outdoor seating. My family of 4 (wife & 2 kids) had a very pleasant lunch experience here 😊 not far from Grosse Ille island

We ordered the walleye fish & asparagus meal, calamari for appetizer, the chicken quesadilla, & Michigan cherry salad.

All these platters were delicious & plentiful. The walleye fillet was large & the asparagus was huge (see attached photos...). The calamari was outstanding! Best calamari I've ever had. 🤤😋

Great restaurant on the water! Tucked away in a quaint area! The food and environment was friendly and delicious. We went right as their Halloween cocktails were released and I enjoyed the Margarita in a witch's cauldron! So much fun!

Great food! Our first visit here and we were pleasantly surprised. Obviously a chef driven menu. This place would be a great summer stop too, right on the water!

Jumbo shrimp and walleye dinners were very good.!! We ordered deep fried mushrooms for an appetizer.... Amazing is all I can say....😁... Not only were they wonderful tasting...but they were mammoth.... Half a tennis ball each if you could imagine... The menu shows great stuff.... Yes including burgers... And the prices were not bad at all.... I am surely going to recommend this place. As well as go back again.. I was told if I was amazed with those mushrooms... I need to do the onion rings.. Suppose to be size of donuts.. It will be on my list... Great meal and service!! Go if you haven't been yet.

I've been there twice now twice, the first time was right after they opened and there was a wait. The second time we met some friends for an early dinner, we got there at 4 and got right in, even with two tables of people.

The menu is essentially the same as the Taylor location but they have amazing specials. When we were there I had the seared tuna, it was probably the largest portion of tuna I've ever had at a restaurant and was excellent. One of our friends had the lamb tortellini and said it was amazing.

The location is great, I can't wait until it warms up enough to use the patio. They had a great beer selection and our server, Cheyenne, was amazing and attentive.

I've been there a number of times since their opening. The service is great, food delicious and I usually need a take home box because portions are large, and the views fabulous. Last time I went 3 speed boaters gave us all a show after their meal on the deck displaying respectable rooster 🐓 tails! Try the Sweet Potato Fries

We went on recommendation from my f.i.l. and honestly wasn't sure what to expect. Wow were we surprised and delighted. The prices weren't out of the world and the food was so good. The Naan sandwiches are delicious and we also enjoyed the steak tips appetizer. The sweet potato fries are so good I'd go back just for them.
Also my husband was thrilled to hear the fish he got was locally caught.

Stopped by on a Friday night. Place was packed. We were extremely hungry. Talked to the hostess who was extra nice. She was like a maestro coordinating the waitstaff. Helping the flood of humanity that decided to follow us through the door. Doing so much more than I would even imagine with a humongous smile. She took my name and told me there were 9 parties ahead of me and that it would most likely be 30-40 minutes before seating. I asked if we could sit at the bar and order food at the bar, of course , she said. Was met at the bar by a very busy and attentive young bartender. Drinks in hand in less than two minutes. Looked over the menu, tons of comfort foods and delicious sounding entrees. My first time there so of course I was looking at pricing also. So affordable! So pleasantly surprised! Not 20 minutes later I was paged for my table. NICE! Our waitress stopped by in minutes , ordered another round and placed our food requests at the same time, since I had peeked at the menu. She served up the drinks with no delay, she was very nice and super efficient. Shortly after the food arrived . Tried the Mac and Cheese, excellent!. Also got the Lemon Feta Chicken. PERFECT!. Portions were right, service was great! It is a fact that this will be a go to spot for me for a long time. Brand new building, granite top tables, service like I've not seen. 5 stars across the board.
