Fairfield Inn by Marriott Portsmouth Seacoast

Excellent location for seacoast travel and downtown Portsmouth access. Rooms were very clean and fresh, well designed for comfortable stay, (we had a king bed room with couch), and had a nice view from our 4th floor front window. The staff was very friendly and helpful from the room service to the management. They are a good team. Free breakfast was good also, as was the staff, cheerful and happy to help. I am confined to a wheelchair and found easy access to most of the building and room (did not have an accessible room, just a normal room), with the exception of the front entrance which is a bit difficult. It is slanted but has a large expansion joint near the top, and my wife was not able to push my transfer chair over it. The desk manager, on seeing this, was right there offering to help. Overall, for a mid-priced hotel, I will give it 5 stars. Don't hesitate to check it out.

We had friends visiting, and they stayed at the Fairfield Inn. We did go in and check it out - nice clean rooms and a welcoming feel to the lobby. Everything we saw was nice and clean, friendly desk staff, and plenty of parking. The Fairfield Inn is conveniently located - easy access to I-95 and area routes, just a few minutes drive from a variety of restaurants and downtown Portsmouth with shops and local dining.

Front desk was very nice and helpful, 5 stars right off the bat for her. The room, was clean and comfortable and breakfast great - much more than I expected. I think my only thing was the seating for the breakfast, everyone piles to one side for the tv and I think the setup could improve for more functionality. But overall the hotel was perfect and affordable for what I needed - which was comfort, sleep and breakfast.

The breakfast was not really the best but the room was worth the money.

Nice hotel off the freeway at a great price. Lots of great food within a 10 mile radius. Morning breakfast was nice and some food was made available even before 6 am which was nice since we had to leave earlier than that. Fitness room was limited on equipment but was nice since it had a treadmill and bike with stocked towels and sanitize wipes. Staff was friend area was safe enough to run outdoors. Only downside was there was only 1 washer and drier available but I was fortunate to get it without waiting.

Very nice, clean updated Hotel. Rooms were spacious, very clean and updated. All staff was vet friendly and accommodating. Full self serve breakfast was included and had a variety of choices to please all ages.
We would stay here again if ever in the area.

We loved our stay here! What an excellent hotel! The location was so perfect for getting to downtown and I was also really surprised to hear they run a free shuttle! Parking down there can be tough so that's a nice thing. Our room was clean and well appointed - very comfy beds! The staff was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Will definitely return! Wasn't excited about a basic hotel by the interstate but the staff made it exceptional. Manny, the shuttle driver, was friendly and helpful. And when the kids had a short break to try the pool, employees brought pool floats out for them to use. They even held breakfast a bit for our late risers. Room had a microwave, mini fridge and lots of storage space, which was much appreciated. Only issue was that a piece of popcorn under the desk brought in ants - but trust that can be addressed quickly.

I've been many times in Fairfield Inn Marriott, the bed comfy and the room clean and services room friendly too. breakfast free buffet great delicious specially the fruit. The best the stuff so friendly and always smiling and welcoming. Fairfield Inn Marriott just a few minutes from downtown. My next trip on the next week on Sunday we'll arrive with God will. I can't wait to get their. Its a business trips most of the time. Also great for pleasure too. Always we stayed extra few days to enjoying the downtown and around too. I definitely recommend it to everyone to visit and enjoying with friendly welcoming smile 😊😍🌹

This hotel is in the perfect quiet spot with barely any traffic as well. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast area was great in the morning. Hot coffee and smiles! I wish I stayed long enough to enjoy the rest of the amenities like the pool!

Great 2 night stay this past weekend. The staff welcomed us, gave us an arrival welcome bag (water and cookies). Delicious full hot breakfast in the morning. Complimentary coffee in the lobby. Rooms were clean and comfortable. These simple things matter to us, especially when we have the choice to pick from multiple hotels. Coincidentally, we stayed at the sister hotel, Courtyard Marriott in Portsmouth right off highway 95. It was a terrible. No one greeted us, no smiles, no complimentary coffee, breakfast or water for Gold member status. The staff acted as if it didn't care you were there or not. If u have a choice btw the two properties, go with the Fairfield Inn hands down... Both locations were convenient to the highway. Portsmouth is a super cute town, lots of quaint shops and good bites! Enjoy

Touring musicians like Tanya Trotter love checking in to hotels like this one while coming off the road for the day! The staff is super friendly and very helpful, and the room is perfect! There was plenty of parking, and check-in was a breeze. There is a free breakfast in the morning and a laundry room to take advantage of before hitting the road the next day as well! Thank you for everything, and we can't wait to stay with you again!

This place was a fantastic experience! We get in late and the manager opens up the breakfast area fridge to get some milk for my 2 yr old daughter. The beds are comfortable, the place is clean, fresh coffee and cold lemon/citrus water 24 hours a day, the breakfast is the perfect variety and quality for my whole family. We couldn’t be happier. Yes some other visitors were loud (boys and girls soccer and hockey teams in same place), and maybe they could have implanted some stronger stances on no children running around without parents present, but that’s not 100% on them. I wish all Fairfield’s were as good as this one!

Rooms are great and priced just right. Breakfast is very good and large variety. Very close to the highway and restaurants. And just down from the Portsmouth hospital if you have family there. Are stay was for our college kid who's going to UNH. Very close from here to there. So this hotel is an ideal spot for parents bring in their students from our of state.

Our stay at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott in Portsmouth was fantastic! It was clean, comfortable, and convenient. What else could you ask for? We even got an early check in and rested a bit before we hit the town. We had a nice sleep and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast before we left. Thank you for a great stay!

We had a very peaceful, quiet stay. Hotel staff very friendly and our room was VERY clean. The hotel followed Covid to the tee. Exceptional clean hotel in every aspect. Close to restaurants and stores. Only 7 minutes to downtown Market Street. We would definitely stay here again!!

So far so good. Complementary breakfast provided from 0600 to 0900 including waffles, meats and eggs. Room is clean. There is a fitness area as well as an outdoor pool, however it's a bit too cold to use.

I can't say enough about how happy I am with my almost 3 weeks at Fairfield Inn. My wife was in serious shape at the nearby hospital. We had been on vacation when she became ill. I needed a hotel close. The staff was outstanding and saw to my needs. The room was great. Warm and comfortable. They really felt like family to me as I was alone. Thanks everyone! Great job!!
