I stopped in yesterday without realizing brides needed an appointment. Sam still made time to speak with me about my upcoming wedding, and I'm sure it was apparent to her that I was pretty clueless about wedding flowers. She was friendly and patient, quick to share her knowledge about flowers and very up front and transparent about pricing options- a VERY valuable trait when you are trying to work with a tight wedding budget. I am very glad to have met Sam and whether we end up ordering flowers or not, I would highly recommend Hawthorne and Vine to others with floral needs!

Sam is amazing! She designed my bridal bouquet, bridesmaid's bouquets, and corsages/boutonnieres for our intimate wedding ceremony. The bouquet arrangements were absolutely stunning! Sam and I reviewed my bouquet inspirations from Pinterest, and she created arrangements that were unique and beautiful - exactly what I was looking for! I couldn't have imagined my wedding flowers any differently. Sam is wonderful to work with - I highly recommend her for wedding floral arrangements.

Great little florist shop on Macomb St. , Grosse Ile. Great little florist named Sam. She'll take very good care of all your flower needs...weddings, funerals, prom, or just a bouquet of flowers she has it covered. Strop in anytime.

Great gifts and flowers..

Sam is really sweet but did not do good with our wedding flowers. We talked about bridal bouquets and men’s boutonnières and what I wanted for my wedding several times leading up to it. My bouquet along with my bridesmaids and my husbands and the groomsmen flowers came out nothing like what I had pictured. I’m thinking she wanted to cut costs because she put a ton of fillers in our bouquets and the men’s boutonnières were 1/3 the size of usual ones. Super disappointing.

The owner Sam was really nice but our wedding flowers turned out nothing like I had pictured or we had talked about. I was extremely disappointed in them. I’m assuming she just wanted to cut costs down because like someone else said, there were fillers in all of the bouquets.
