I love EC Design rings (and no, I am not the same Emily Johnson who is the artist! Just a fun coincidence!!) I think I own 10 rings made by Emily. I keep going back because the quality is so high and the rings are so beautiful. I wear these 3 every day and get compliments all the time.

My fiancée and I worked with Emily in creating my prefect engagement ring. Throughout the journey, Emily was knowledgeable, helpful, creative and kind. You couldn't find a more attentive artist to make such beautiful work.

When it came time to get an engagement ring, I went to Emily. I remembered Emily's studio from an Art-A-Whirl a few years ago so I visited her, explained my situation; I knew absolutely nothing about jewelry, but I wanted something locally made, unique, beautiful, special, and not ridiculously expensive. She was really helpful and super understanding of what I was after. Emily is knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating and working with her was a breeze. Together we chose something that I thought fit the bill and it worked! My fiancé and I went back to her for her wedding band. A+ all around. Locally made, stunning, and unique jewelry.

Emily worked with me to incorporate family diamonds into an engagement ring and wedding band set that had several different elements. Emily is a true master her craft, a superb conversationalist, and a spirited creator of customized perfection. She hand-crafted a stunningly beautiful engagement ring for my fiance. The champagne diamond is so pristinely cut and set that it seems to emit laser beams when it catches light. She was kind, informative, and prompt. I find myself fabricating excuses to procure more jewelry just so we can work with Emily again. She is simply brilliant.

I always knew I wanted a non-conventional ring, I wanted something with color, and something that would stand out. I looked at all different Instagram pages and surfed the web. I was sooo excited and happy to find EC design because her work was JUST what I was looking for. The jewelry is unique, creative and eclectic. My fiancé and I went in together to design the ring. It was a personal, fun and smooth experience. Emily and her metalsmith were very helpful in offering suggestions and saw my vision through. I get so many complements on my ring and I myself can’t stop admiring it! 5/5 would recommend!

When I was ready to propose, I knew I wanted something as beautiful and unique as my (hopefully) future wife, so I immediately ruled out cheesy places that advertise on KFAN. Same went for that uppity place with the blue boxes.

I wasn't even sure if the type of ring I imagined existed: I wanted something simultaneously ancient and modern, something of true beauty that seemed to capture both earth and sky, something that was grounded and transcendent at the same time. So I started Googling.

After many fruitless hours spent searching in vain, I reached a point of near complete exasperation when I typed in some magical combination of search terms that brought me to EC Design. Bless you, O Great Google Algorithm!

After browsing her website for about a millisecond, I knew I wanted an EC Design ring, so I furtively called the number on the website and spoke to Emily. She could not have been nicer, and I made an appointment to see her at her studio.

I'd inherited my grandmother's two wedding rings (she was a widower who remarried), and my hope was that the modest diamonds could be incorporated my soon-to-be fiancee's ring. Emily said that would be no problem. I was so happy; not only would the ring be high in sentimental value, but it would also fit my not unlimited budget.

The process of designing the ring from scratch with Emily was a real joy. She was a savant when it came to selecting the properly proportioned combination of metals. I never felt pressured to spend beyond my means, and Emily highlighted how special the ring would be with my family jewels in it, saying something to the effect of "There's a lot of love in those stones." She even offered to apply the scrap value of the gold from my grandmother's rings to the final balance.

I could go on and on, but I've gone on for long enough. Long story short: Emily is the best. The ring she made was stunning, and the "Yes!" came fast and furious. My fiancee loved it so much that she wanted Emily to make a wedding band, and I got in on the action by ordering an EC Design wedding ring of my own. We both get compliments on our respective rings all the time, and tell everyone who asks exactly where they can get their own piece of amazing.
