SIXT Rent a Car

This was my first time using SIXT and I had a great experience! The agent was very friendly and helpful in trying to see if there were any discounts I could apply. The entire process from signing the agreement to pick up and drop off was efficient and seamless. I reserved the size of a Nissan Sentra and ended up with a BMW 2 Series at no extra charge. It was an overall awesome experience.

Excellent customer service! The car we’d reserved wasn’t ready when we arrived to pick it up. We had a short time frame to get on the road as we had come from Canada and were trying to surprise our son at his university hockey practice. SIXT employee KRYSTAL went above and beyond for us. She got us into an upgraded vehicle at no extra charge and we were on our way! She was very friendly and understanding and we think she’s an amazing asset to the SIXT brand. Will definitely use SIXT next time we come to the USA.

Not going to lie, I was a little skeptical about this rental company after reading the past reviews. Overall, my experience renting a car from SIXT was awesome. The rental counter named Kairo was friendly and helpful. Got an upgrade with no extra cost. Picking up and dropping off is super easy. I highly recommend this company to my fellow military active duty service members, and to military vets and retirees.

Best rental experience ever. The exact car reserved was ready, clean and in excellent condition. Use of the app and checking out was a breeze. That seems like that should be the expectation when renting a car but Sixt is the only car rental company that can deliver it all.

Khalid and the whole team working were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. They helped resolve an issue with the reservation I had made and had me on my way with no issues. Definitely will book with Sixt at MSP again.

Rent a BMW. That's the main pitch of Sixt, a German-owned car rental company. They have a lot of great cars, but are the only major chain in the US that will rent you a BMW. The MSP location is quite good. Super friendly. That's unusual for Sixt, as most of their locations are not. So kudos to the MSP crew for caring about their work, keeping everything clean, and being super nice!

I've been a Sixt customer for years now. I rented a car and my email was wrong and when i called the customer service number i was told they could not fix it over the phone, so when i returned my car I went up to the counter and expected the same thing i was told over the phone. I was greeted by Noor. He could not have been more helpful, fixed my email and even offered to print out my invoice for me. Noor completely saved this rental experience for me and will continue to only rent from Sixt in the future. Thanks again Noor!

Micah did an incredible job taking care of my needs for my week of business in Minneapolis. There was a long line of customers waiting for rentals. Cars were slow coming back in, as can be the case with supply and demand.
Even before Micah got to me, he handled himself well by talking calmly with all the customers.
At first, what I "thought" was slow service, Micah was keeping each of his customers engaged in conversation. He did the same with me, talking about options on the reservation or having a general conversation while waiting to hear back from the garage office on what cars are available. For a customer to wait in silence, time takes forever. He got me moving in no time. An excellent job!

MSP Sixt is my go-to rental car company in the Twin Cities. Generally, they have the best prices and vehicles. Customer service is top notch. The only downside is paying extra for my spouse to drive.

Overall the experience was excellent, first we couldn’t find our vehicle, spent some time at the airport while a little tire from the flight, after we came back to the kiosk and told that we were lost and couldn’t discover the car, the guy that worked that night was very helpful and walked us to the right place! We love the experience of the car selection he offered to us X1 was perfect for riding on snow.

This is my "go to" car rental company. Love it. You can rent premium cars at bargain prices.

Really positive experience with my rental from this location! Line was non-existent when other agencies had long lines. Desk agent was super helpful and gave me a complimentary upgrade to my vehicle class just so that I would not have to wait for one to become available. It's amazing how many companies make their logistical issues the consumer's problem, so coming across an agent appropriately empowered to help ensure I had a great experience was such a refreshing change of pace.

Excellent company! I had a great experience with them and will definitely use them again. Fast service at the desk, friendly and helpful employees, beautiful new car that had only been driven once, and quick return with no waiting. Very reasonable prices. Every other time I’ve rented from other companies I’ve had problems. They want to charge my credit card months later for “damage”, or they don’t have a car available, or they are rude at drop off. I really didn’t like renting cars after those experiences with other companies, so I’m really happy to find Sixt. Very positive experience overall.

We had a very excellent experience here. Sarah, thank you for making things very easy to understand and explained everything to the detail! We had selected a Toyota Yaris online but when we got to Sixt, Sarah informed us that we would be renting a 2021 Toyota Camry SE. THANK YOU SIXT!!!

I have rented cars from Sixt many times. Never a problems with renting or returning. Cars are usually clean for the most part. I use the app and pay so all I need to do is go straight to the pick up and get the car, skip the lines and desk. Everyone have been friendly and polite with pickup/drop off.
