Great Moon Buffet

Don't let the 3.8 rating fool you. This place is awesome. I don't know what it was like before but now it is absolutely delicious. I asked who cooks the food and the owner's uncle has been cooking Chinese food for 30 years and it shows! The pepper chicken is fantastic, the rice is Fluffy, dishes are executed with obvious mastery. I recommend you come in here. I came right as it opened at 11:00 a.m. and there were already people waiting at the door when I arrived

Very easy online ordering, fast service, simple walk-in and pickup. The serving sizes are epic! I ordered a three side dinner and it was enough food to last days! Everything tasted fresh and the chicken was very tender. I really liked the pepper chicken; it was a perfect spice level and only chicken in the dish. I highly recommend ordering takeout for anyone feeling like they miss the buffet or just want a lot of good food in one meal!

This buffet is very clean and has one of the best locations. Right next to the Transit center. So very convenient for people who ride the bus. Very nice customer service. The food is grade A. Right in a heart of Columbia heights!!!! 🔥🔥🌞☀

Great Buffet, the most amazing is that the food is very flavorfull. Usually these buffets they lack in taste and flavor, but here is very good.

I really love this restaurant! The owners are so nice they've been there quite a while and I used to go more often than I do now but that's only because I don't have anybody to go with me and I'm not very good at going alone. Buffets can be a little scary but not this place they bring fresh food out very often, so the food is not sitting there for a long time which can happen at certain restaurants. This place is wonderful though and if you haven't been there you should go!

Great service, cheaper than Tippenyaki Buffet, and they also have those delicious Teriyaki Chicken Kabobs that Tippenyaki Buffet has unfortunately done away with. This is my new buffet of choice!

This was my first visit and I went with my friend who lives close by. I didn't pay much attention to the final tab but it came to _40.00+ which I find to be a tiche high. Even though they had a varied menu and restocked the steam tables quickly I found most of the dishes to be geared for the American palate while much prefer.more authenticity in food purported to be real Italian or Thai etc. Except for the muscles which were very good most everything else I found in be rather lacking.
There seemed to be no limits on quantities so a large percentage of Minnesotans will like this restaurant and est till they can't move but not me. I'll take quality over quantity every time without qualification! One other thing to mention is that they serve a variety of sushi and I am compelled to report that again it is not authentic even slightly. I think Jiro would be agast at the thought of putting carrot and avocado in with yellow fin tuna and wasabe!.I know I sure as hell I was and am. BOO HISS BAH HUMBUG!!!!

I love this place, it has amazing atmosphere and delicious food. My family absolutely loves this buffet, and the workers are extremely kind. Theres plenty of options, and you can choose you own seating. I definitely recommend this place to people in the area!

The food quality has taken a step down. But I've been coming to this location for years. The owners are very respectful. The food is still great.

Smaller selection but higher quality items. The kitchen staff is doing a great job. The front could use a little more training as I had to ask twice just to get my water refilled.

Very good food to fill anyone's taste buds. Even the little ones will find something to eat. The food is fresh, from the salad basics to the hot food. Kitchen staff are busy replacing pans of food. There is walking space between the buffet tables that hold the food. Here is one place your elbows will not interfere with the person behind you. A relaxed atmosphere to eat. Yet busy enough to show this is a popular place to eat. I have many celebrations here with family and friends. Of course, any day when your taste buds are satisfied, I start here.

This has been our favorite “secret” restaurant for more than a year. The environment is clean, the food is always hot and fresh, and the staff very friendly!! I’m never disappointed.

Best Customer Service I had ever had! Came 30min before closing, they still welcome us in! Even after hours, they were still happy to help us! The food was fantastic as well! Best buffet food I ever had! The price was cheap and it was worth the food! Next time I come back to MN, I would definitely come back here to eat! This is the first review that I have actually written and normally I wouldn't write a review, but I just had to this time!

Ok food but great service! The food is not that high end but for the price and variety it was really good! Best of all was the service, we walked in around an hour before and immediately all the staff were very attentive. Very nice and accommodating, even asking us what we want freshly made. Would go again!

Beautiful restaurant! The staff were very kind to my family and the host made sure we always had refills. Been coming here for years and they get better each time I visit!

It was a very clean and friendly place. Food was excellent. It was the first time I've tried crawfish and it is just like lobster. Not too expensive.

Great food....almost always fresh and non-greasy. A big selection, big salad bar and reasonable sushi selection....The 5 pepper shrimp is delicious.....good service....just don't come around closing time of course as they are starting to run out of some entrees which is to be expected. Cheerful casual atmosphere....clean restaurant....big selection!! :D
