Because my kid graduated from here!!

How is it that religious establishments have the right to break workplace laws, such as discrimination, and get away with it? They're clearly discriminating based on her marital status. But if I tried to do this, I'd be fired, fined, and sued by every coalition out there.

Enough is enough!! Religious ass-hats should no longer get a "pass" based on their beliefs!! If you can't legally be racist (because of your personal "convictions"), than you shouldn't legally get a pass on bigotry. Saying "this is right because it's what they believe" is just as bad as saying "the KKK is right because it's what they believe." This kind of behavior and thinking needs to be shut down immediately!!

Her personal life is none of your cocern!! She's obviously a very good teacher as she's held her position for over 15 years without prior disciplinary actions!! You have no other reasons to fire her, except to discriminate based on your religious beliefs. You're the very reason that religion is slowly dying.

And with a move like this, you've dealt another fatal blow that will only open people's minds to realizing that all religions are fraudulent and only serve themselves. They only follow the rules of their religion if they can bend said rules. God said "Love thy neighbor", not "fire thy neighbor because we believe something different."

I have just learned that this school fired a beloved dance coach because she was living with her fiancé and I cannot express adequately how appalled I am. She's ENGAGED. Meaning they are going to be married! She was a dedicated coach and due to your standards--not Jesus's--on cohabitation before marriage that are mentioned no where in the Bible, you bigots fired her. Jesus would not do this. This is a gross violation of the law and I hope she sues you for everything you're worth which due to this incident, isn't much. You are no Christian! Shame on you!

Bring back Melissa Marti! It is inexcusable to get rid of a 15 year staff member because you don't agree with what they do at home. Please end your discrimination practices and I will update my review.
