I loved this place. Fast, cheap, good food. Salsas are so good. Tortillas have just the right texture. Service is great.

We had the quesabirria tacos, machete, and shrimp tacos the night we got into town. It was so good that we ordered the quesabirria tacos again the next day for lunch in addition to chips & queso and esquites. Then before we left the cities the following day, we got 4 more orders of quesabirria tacos to bring home for our kids to try! Will definitely be going back!! One of the best!

You order yourself on a screen. I'm old school so it was a bit challenging. Had tacos Birrias, it was delicious.

Man, I love this place. Food is hot (physically) and fresh. Good portion size. Home of the Machete taco! Extra sauces are awesome, the guacamole sauce is the bomb. Super central Mexico style. Best guacamole outside of my house. Love this place as much as Andale. And, I mean, if you're looking for the good places, you'll be fighting landscaping and roofing crews for a start IYKYK! Oh, ordering is on your own, kiosks are in to the left or order ahead.

I love the atmosphere in this restaurant. The food they serve comes in abundance. It taste fresh, authentic and the cheese! Wow a must have! So good! I believe you cannot go wrong with anything here. I highly recommend it!

We had take out and our food still hot when we had it. The flavour is very authentic! The Machete is the best! Price is just right with the quality and portion of the food.

Door dashed taco libre. I ordered the carne asada machete and chips/queso. The carne asada was some of the most flavorful carne I've yet to experience. The chips were fresh. My only complaint is the Itty bitty container of queso.

Simple fare with great flavor. I love street tacos and birria, and Taco Libre delivers on both! Their menu has a great selection of authentic Mexican fare with great flavors plus some American favorites to keep everyone satisfied. Their salsas are delicious too. I recommend Taco Libre for a quick, delicious meal.

Pretty good. Service was nice and fast. We went during lunch so as you'd expect it was quite busy. We ordered the machete, which was like over a foot long, ordered the Bowl, and tamales. With the machete you can add 2 different types of meat. With the Bowl you can add one. We were lucky to find seating since it was so busy. Loved that they have a little bar filled with different spice sauces for your order. You can fill them up in convenient cups to go too. The machete taco was crispy, juicy, and not overwhelmingly stuffed where you can't pick it up to eat. The taco Bowl was delicious. I love spicy so I added a lot of sauces. Had a lot of left overs since it was so filling. It was the first time trying this place out and we were very pleased.

Self check in service is in a bad spot.
I love this place because of the interaction with the person taking your orders.
Also we had to order an extra drink because it did not have a go back button/display.
I probably won't come back because of the self ordering station

I don't know how I haven't added a review for this place yet. Their street tacos are incredible, quesadillas are cooked perfectly just a slightly crispy. Their guac is delicious and smooth. I can't get enough of this place.

Reliably good and authentic tacos, nachos, horchata. Best part is the salsa/sauce bar. I miss the pickled onions they used to put out, but still half a dozen delicious options to choose from.

I like everything single thing there. I love the machete 🤣 it's huge and exquisite! Today, I went to it with a good friend and we ordered alambre, and the taste was fine, but they were floating on oil. You should check that out.

Fresh. Tasty. The hot sauces have a solid kick and the mild ones don't. Ordering is by kiosk and while it doesn't always make clear what options are available on what dishes up front, it's not a bad system.

Tried this place for the first time and it was amazing! Torta with Carne asada bread not soggy but crispy fresh ingredients. Hubby ordered steak burrito also amazing. Horchata and Fresca water also amazing churros were fresh and crispy on the outside soft on the inside. My kids got the quesadillas, they loved them. The best Mexican I have had in Minnesota by far!

I had the best tres leches I’ve ever had in my life. I HIGHLY recommend. I had delivery so I can’t comment on the atmosphere.

Decent place but good range of tacos. Well priced and not so common menu. We tried some veggie tacos and chicken tacos, everything was good. Corn is a must try for corn lovers.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Absolutely love it. I think these street tacos are amazing and usually are my go-to when i visit Taco Libre. My sister loves the machete (foot long ginormous crunchy taco monster). I’d recommend this if you love trying new things. Pretty authentic Horchata also. 😉

Excellent place! Great food with ample menu choices. Clean modern fresh place. Ample parking lot. Easy to get location and quick service. Prices are ok, I have not compared much pricing in Minneapolis for Mexican restaurants. This is a semi fast food with awesome flavor and friendly professional staff. At peak hours prepare to sit at a common table or wait for one to be vacant.
None peak times are my absolute best to enjoy this place. MANY different items on the menu. VERY competitive to Chipotle. Depending on preferences maybe even better.
