Rocco is a true professional! He is courteous & goes above and beyond to answer all questions. His team of workers are excellent. They installed a new ac system in our home. Not only are they good at their job, but they also vacuum & clean when finished. Dawn, the office contact is friendly, helpful & beyond courteous! Definitely a “ top notch “ company!!

Rocco and his team were incredible. We hired them to replace the 30 year-old duct work that was in our house and they did a great job. They were neat, thorough and completed the project as scheduled. Last week I turned on my A/C for the first time this year and after an hour I noticed it wasn't cooling my house. I called RJA Heating & Cooling and the next day Rocco came and inspected the 18-year old system. The system had no refrigerant and there was obviously a leak. Rocco felt the age and condition would make repair expensive and not reliable for long. I agreed and he sent me a quotation the next morning. He told me he could do the job the next day which would give us cooling by the expected weekend heat wave expected. I told him to go ahead and the next day the equipment was delivered and the installation was completed that evening. Rocco used quality equipment and his crew was excellent. I recommend RJA Heating & Cooling for your HVAC needs.

RJA replaced an old central air unit in my home when it failed in June of 2019. Rocco was quick to respond to my first inquiry and to come out and take a look during a heat wave. He emailed a clear and detailed estimate within 24 hours and his pricing was very competitive. He offered to do the installation on a Sunday just 4 days after giving the estimate, beating the next quickest offer by more than a week, which was huge during a time with daytime high temps in the 90s. Rocco and his team were punctual, professional and pleasant. He was on site for the job, which was done well and on time. They cleaned up thoroughly leaving no mess behind. I very happily recommend RJA and would certainly call them again the next time I have a need for an HVAC professional.

RJA replaced my central air unit in March of 2019. I was referred to the firm by my in-laws who had nothing but good things to say about their experience replacing an AC unit in 2011. I’m pleased to report that eight years later, Rocco (principal) and the team at RJA Heating and Cooling still deliver exceptional service. I received three other quotes from large retail (i.e., big box) stores that came with high-pressure sales pitches. It was refreshing to review the project with Rocco, as he’s respectful and straightforward. RJA’s pricing is very competitive and the owner is on-site during the installation. The crew left my house clean and the unit is working great. I fully endorse RJA and would recommend their services to friends and family without any concerns.

Rocco was absolutely fantastic! His prices were reasonable and so easy to work with. RJA customer service was A+++ from the secretary who helped book my appointment to the service! I would not go anywhere else in the future.

Upfront about everything, gave multiple options for our entire system replacement. Clean, and quick. Job well done.

Rocco really knows his stuff. We originally had a system for original part of the house, a system for the back TV room, and a separate wall unit for an upstairs loft. After calling almost a dozen HVAC companies and getting a different suggestion on how we should redo our system I felt Rocco offered the best solution for long term home ownership. He gave us more attic space as well and helped to balance the system so that it is used as efficiently as possible. Sounds like a wind tunnel and leaks in the attic.

Nice guy, but be sure to get any work you need done quoted up front so you don't choke on the invoice he sends a month later.

Here's the detail on my invoice:

- Condenser Cleaning & Check up on all moving parts & sensors
- Air Handler Coil Cleaning & sensors and parts (whatever that means - no new parts were added to my systems)
- 5 Indoor & outdoor A/C system

He says his normal fee for this service is $140 per unit and after I complained about the initial $936 invoice he gave us a whopping $10 discount for each of our 5 units since we have multiple systems in our property.

The original bill included a charge of $225 for "labor" and when I questioned what the labor was for, he said it was the labor to change the filters that I provided in each unit. He reduced the labor charge by $70 after I freaked out about the size of the bill. Call me crazy, but I would think the "labor" of changing the filters on five air handlers would be included as part of the "Spring maintenance" but you need to know it is an additional service with Rocco.

Now owe him only $791.80 to clean and inspect 5 units! He didn't even get the two units I have that were NOT WORKING to cool the air in their zones, which is why I called him in the first place. My husband had another company out to get their recomendation and quote for the same unit after Rocco quoted $9,540 to completely replace it. (He never bothered to quote the massive amounts of work he said was needed on the other systems, including changing pan sizes, moving things that he said were improperly installed 8 years ago, I seriously can't remember it all, there was so much stuff he said needed to be done.)

For less than $300, including replacing the capacitor and topping off the unit with recycled refrigerant, the unit Rocco would have us replace has been cooling the air perfectly fine for over a month.

Unfortunately, we didn't call the right guy in the first place. Live and learn.

We had a scheduled appointment and they did not call to let us know they weren’t coming. When we called 10 minutes after the missed appointment, we received very rude attitude from the woman who answers the phone. Poor customer service and a no show… not going to do business with a service that disrespects their customer and has no regard for our time.
