Guitar Center

This is the nicest Guitar Center I've been to in NJ and NYC. Huge high ceilings, bright lighting, a chilling lounge with couches and a Boss Katana Artist MkII set up to noodle around. The employees and managers seemed to genuinely enjoy working there and enjoy each other's company. They were hanging out and chatting about music with folks there, but remained very available to customers. They also had a great selection of high end and affordable used guitars, and didn't mind me comparing pretty much every Strat in the place.

I've been to GCs that feel like weird goblin caves and this is definitely not that. It's a music superstore befitting its location next to Asbury Park, one of NJ's great musical treasures.

As musicians I know it's easy to dislike the samey big box music retailers, but this place deserves a visit. I only wish it was closer to me!!

Great store for all music needs, very well stocked with a wide range of all instruments in all price ranges. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful, all with plenty of background in music. Highly recommended!

Customer service over chat was horrendous. I had to drive to the location. Once there the place is so large and the inventory so expansive it was well worth the drive. The team members there were really helpful. Great experience. Reasonable pricing.

Pleasant experience with all the workers. Super nice group of guys. Someone named Alex gave me a 10% discount on a record because the corner was bent which was greatly appreciated. Another worker can’t remember his name recommended a great bass strap for my bad back overall super knowledgeable friendly helpful guys

Went today to Guitar Center in Ocean to do an exchange on a new keyboard, a new guitar set up and some help with setting up and syncing a foot switch to a fender amp.
Rogan the manager was great with the exchange, Bobby did a great job on correcting the factory problem with the guitar, Anthony was also a big help. I was extremely impressed with Jonathan. He not only set up the foot switch to my amp. He showed me too, and then took the time to write out the instructions for me so I wouldn't forget. Since I'm an old guy, you can't imagine how grateful I was.
I've been to this store a few times now. I really like this Guitar Center. They have a ton of great gear, too.

I had a wonderful experience at this guitar center today. I had a ton of specific guitar questions and I was worried they would not all get answered. I was greeted by Alex who was one of the nicest and most helpful employees I have had the pleasure of interacting with. Alex was very knowledgeable and made me very comfortable in deciding my next purchase. This was a wonderful experience and I will be recommending this store to friends.

Summer Party Hack- rent a PA System from Guitar Center and hire your favorite DJ poolside. Super easy to pick up, set up, and breakdown and amazing sound. The Staff in the Ocean GC is amazing. Super easy to deal with and the prices are very reasonable.

I have bought guitars here in the past and never had a problem even when returning or, selling and/or trading in my guitars, always at a fair price! But, what I am really impress with is their guitar tech Lee! He has fixed and adjusted my guitars at very fair reasonable prices. He is NEVER to busy to stop and address my issues! I was in another store recently and wanted to ask the tech there a question and, he was to busy to talk to me. I had to email my question. Not good customer service!
Lee is the best and, if you have a minor adjustment he will try and fix it right away!

The staff is always friendly and they try to help you find what your looking for. This acoustic roomin the back is full guitar and ukuleles .

Friendly employees and a great experience overall, it's a bit pricey in there but there's also some good offers.

Great selection and knowledgeable staff. I bought a Fender Bass and Joe was a big help. I found it cheaper the next day and they honored their price match guarantee without a hassle or attitude. Too bad they're 20 miles away. I'd be there more often.

Love the place. I play the guitar myself so it was nice seeing clean guitars on display, the employees are also very nice people.

Jack was very helpful with assisting us with returning an online order that we had some issues with. Store was very busy and the employees made time to fully work out our issue and get us the correct item before the holiday. Very good experience!

This is a very well-stocked, well-organized store. We went in to look at guitars for my young daughter, and the staff were very helpful. Besides helping us purchase a guitar for her, they showed us the available accessories, and told us they had lessons also. When we left, I feel we had a really good setup for my daughter. Also, the story is easy to access because it has a nice big parking lot in front, and it's right next to the Target.

Bought an SG guitar from here last month to teach myself, a big thanks to Joe (one of the sales/guitar techs there who guided me and answered all my questions) and Bobby (the repair tech who helped restring my guitar and help make it sound beautiful after a string broke for the first time), both very helpful and nice people, and a wealth of knowledge to me on beginning my guitar journey!

The G.M. Lou is the nicest guy around. They always answer my questions. Always get the best prices. I highly recommend this place
