CubeSmart Self Storage

this is the first time I've used CubeSmart. I had to store some things last minute quickly, and they were able to accommodate me and the size of the unit was perfect. Everything was clean. Well kept everything I needed was there. The only drawback was the one elevator closest to where I needed to be was out of service, but the woman who helped me said that they were going to hopefully have it finished and fixed soon. She was very helpful. I would highly recommend pricing and everything is good.

Making decisions is not my strong suit these days. In fact, if indecision were an Olympic sport, I’d probably hesitate on the podium! But when it came to choosing a storage unit, CubeSmart made what could have been an overwhelming process feel like a walk in the park. A huge shout-out to Melissa and Stephanie, the patient saints who navigated my barrage of questions with the grace of seasoned diplomats. Their service wasn’t just outstanding; it was positively enlightening—making me wonder why all life decisions couldn’t come with a Melissa and Stephanie to guide the way. The facility shone brightly, both in cleanliness and charm, reflecting the quality of service provided. To anyone who dreads decision-making as much as I do, fear not—if you live near Sunnyside or LIC CubeSmart is the clear choice, and with pros like Melissa and Stephanie, you’re in the best of hands. Five stars!

I have rented a unit at this location for over 10 years and have found the facilities to be clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly, courteous and Zaira provides great service. I highly recommend this location for anyone in the area looking for a storage solution.

Excellent customer care service over the phone. The store manager Amanda, was very knowledgeable and helpful in regards to the concerns I had pertaining to early cancellation of my account with CubeSmart; Moving out , quickly closing my account, as well as issuing the necessary refunds due. quick and compliant service !

Went in store today with some questions regarding additional space and was delighted with Zaria’s help. Zaria went above and beyond and was very friendly. She made the whole experience very pleasant. Great customer service!

Your facility on 47th Avenue is one of the best storage facilities I've used--and I've used many. The staff is friendly, the climate is actually controlled unlike many other storage companies. You guys do a great job.

Always a pleasure doing business here. Amanda was on top of her job, nice, friendly and awesome to deal with. In and out with all I needed and questions answered - excellent experience.

Felt very secure in the year I was here. Clean as well, and I was always greeted with a smile. I only left because I was moving to another city.

We lived three blocks away for almost a year and had a unit here during that time. The last three months coincided with the pandemic. The staff have been wonderful frontline workers and we cannot thank you enough. The facility was always clean and our space was great value for money. Again, thank you to all of the staff, for working at the most difficult of times and doing so with a smile behind the masks.

I had an issue with my lock. (I'd lost my key). Mimi at the front desk bent over backwards to help me, while being vigilant in properly verifying my identity to insure security. (My wife is the primary holder of the account).

Once I was cleared, David worked hard in clipping the extra thick lock off which involved a lot of sparks.

They were both cheerful, accommodating and professional through the whole process.

I've had a locker at this facility for several years and I've always had great interactions with the excellent staff. It's kept clean and safe.

I was a customer at the 38-01 47th Ave. Queens NY for past 11 months. All those months, CubeSmart was my second home. The staff was always warm, attentive and willing to support me when I needed a dolly, access to the bathroom or purchasing a box. The level of cleanness is superb, and dollies are always available. The temperature in the storage room is comfortable regardless of how hot or cold it is outside. Ther is always parking available, and customers are respectable of the common areas. I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this particular location. Thank you for everything CubeSmart at 38-01.

Renting storage was quick and easy, the facility is great. The rep I spoke to, David, was extremely friendly and helpful.

One thing to keep in mind if you have your own renter's insurance: you need proof that you have it AND that it covers your property stored in a storage unit. Make sure you have that prepped in advance. It wasn't stated as explicitly on the website (the second part about coverage at a storage unit), but David was helpful enough to clarify my questions and hold my locker until I could get my paperwork in order.

Manager was AMAZING! can't express this enough. We showed up last minute just before they closed and he let us stay and unpack till we were done! The service in general with CubeSmart was flawless, painless and
very efficient. I'd recommend using them over and over again!
