Cozy coffee cafe with warm atmosphere, plenty of seating, and convenient parking around the store. Their breakfast sandwiches were some of the best we’ve had. Highly recommend the Vienna Croissant. They may have made the best latte I’ve ever had as well. So glad we decided to come here and would definitely come back if we were in the area.

Went to Recess coffee for the first time for a mental health day. Everyone was abuzz with conversation and positive vibes! The service was quick and the server was attentive and kind. My Omegatine was delicious! Great job, Recess!

What a dope coffee shop. Employees were delightful, the vibe of the shop is nice, and my sandwich was bangin'. My PSL was fantastic too, Starbucks couldn't hold a candle to it.

Visited for the first time while driving through Syracuse, midday Saturday. Lattes were fabulous with the creamiest foam we can remember. The "Schwarzenegger" Panini menu (see photo) offered several tasty options; my Governator ham and cheese panini was nicely equipped and delicious. Staff was friendly and quick, ambiance was fresh and spacious, good music playlist. We're glad we stopped there. Highly recommended!

Just opened so lots of people checking it out. Plentiful seating, free WiFi, knowledgeable staff able to make recommendations based on random people's preferences, and a growing menu. Worth the wait!
Also, their slogan is "Drink coffee, shoot lightning" 🤣

This is the best coffee shop atmosphere in the county. This place is gorgeous and such a great place to enjoy a meet or a date. The menu is amazing and something for everybody. For people on the other side of the county, it’s definitely worth the trip to Tipp Hill to stop into.

Great food, great baked goods (the pumpkin whoopie pie with molasses cream is A+) great coffee, and a fantastic atmosphere.

First stop ever at Recess coffee and my wife and I got a holiday special. It was a peppermint bark latte and peppermint bark hot chocolate. They were both fantastic!! The service was kind, thoughtful and conscientious. The inside is nicely laid out and has that coffee shop energy. They have a nice outside area which I am sure is wonderful in the warmer weather. I will not hesitate to stop at a Recess coffee in the future and would love to also go in hungry and see their culinary skills at work. Enjoy!!

An excellent place to get a pup of coffee. Nice atmosphere. Very good service. Will stop by again. Very good regular and speciality coffee drinks.

Absolutely delish everytime! Their iced lattes are my favorite, and their croissant pesto sandwich 10/10!

Specifically the Tipp Hill location. We just moved to the westend and have designated this as our coffee spot.

Today, there was a woman in front of us who didn't really love her coffee. Sean went above and beyond and asked how he could make it better, change it up, add something or making her something different to make sure she was happy. But she was a miserable human and left .. (bad on her part)

I have always, always had nothing but amazing coffee, food and atmosphere every time I go. The consistency is my favorite part.

Lastly and most importantly, let's talk about how the staff is nothing but exceptional. Always telling us what's fresh or new, their likes and current favorites. It's great to know that our neighborhood coffee shop is so welcoming and oh so delicious.

I met a friend for coffee here for the first time. Everyone was so nice! Love the aesthetic! I would recommend this place to anyone. I think this might be my new Saturday morning spot!

The barista was very friendly and knowledgeable. The dirty chai latte was exquisite and strong -just the way I like it! My husband's Ethiopian coffee was very good as well.

Excellent coffee and cappuccino! The sandwiches are delicious and made with fresh ingredients. They had a limited choice of bagels that day. The service was excellent and friendly.

Coffee is always on point. Staff has been nothing but courteous. At every location. Tried a panini at the Tipp Hill spot and it was quite good. The Tipp Hill spot are also open later which is clutch for us coffee fiends. I've Worked somewhere were we sold the lbs bags. They always came in fresh and the person who brought it you could tell are good people. Heard nothing but good things about the owners of the company from people who have met them. All in all this company is a class act and I highly recommend it.

Great friendly n comfy place...not impressed w/ chick pea/ potato(?) Soup...maybe just more seasoning(?)..
