Johnnies Tavern

I had been hearing about the reasonably priced beers at Johnnie's from different people. I was surprised by the size of the place and that they had game room area. There was a mixed crowd of people all seeming to have a great time socializing. We shared a bar pie that was good too.

A dive bar up there with the best of the best! Except it isn’t a dive, the owner was on his hands and knees cleaning under the bar and fridges. The beer was so cold my teeth hurt. Walk in and it’s men’s men, a drinking bar. Cheap drinks, good company, and definitely a place i would come regularly if i was in the area.

Cheap beer. Pool. Longest shuffleboard table I have ever seen. Great atmosphere. You will not be disappointed.

This is THE local place to be if you want a cozy atmosphere with fair drink prices.

Yep, still the case. Love this place. Haven't been here in 3 years since I moved and decided to stop in here with the fiance. Still has the same feel. Long live Johnnie's!

Great local bar. The drinks are super cheap, like ridiculously cheap, and strong. It gets crowded with the pool table and skee ball but you don't get claustrophobic because of the type of crowd that haunts the bar. The bathrooms were just refinished so they are pretty nice.

Strictly on the basis of a watering hole, this is hands-down my favorite dive in the Boonton area. You just can't beat the prices, the bartenders here are cool, the place has mojo in its look and vibe. This is one of my favorite dive bars, period. Highly recommended, go and enjoy.

This is the best bar in town! Good prices, great bartenders and $5 bar pies! $5 for a beer and a shot! Can't beat that! The only thing I can complain about is not being able to hear the music from the juke box because the sound proofing is non-existent.

Cheap drinks and pizza! Loved the jagermeister chiller. Cash only!

The beer was so cold it gave me anxiety. Love this place and the beer was cold. So cold. I went crazy in the bathroom. Need I say more?
