Alstede Farms

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Alstede Farm! It's a perfect destination for family outings. The farm offers a delightful array of pick-your-own vegetables and fruits, allowing us to connect with nature while harvesting our own goodies. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service throughout our visit. The combination of fresh produce and a warm atmosphere made our day truly memorable. Five stars all the way!

This last October my family visited Alstede Farms for the first time. Our visit and experience was enjoyable. We made the mistake of visiting on a Saturday which of course led to larger crowds and higher wait times, on top of our poor planning we went on a very cold day. Even with the small given issues my family got to relish in all the activities provided. From the bouncy house, to the corn maze and pumpkin picking itself, we were pleased with the entire day. We will be visiting again next year!

Get here early!!! Our family enjoyed our visit to the farm and partly because we got there close to opening. By the time we left- the lines were long. There is a little play area for the kids to enjoy a bounce house and pony rides- so make sure you buy tickets for the little kids to enjoy!

I'm subscribed to their program (supported community agriculture) where you can receive fresh from the farm products weekly. You can find this on a website called HARVEY FARM, or you can call Alstede 908-879-7189. I decided to go in person and pick Sun flowers and peaches by myself, and I'm going to tell you it was a great experience because they have animals that you can feed, fresh fruit and vegetables market, ice cream shop, delicious corn and wine tasting. That day, they even had a life band playing nice music. It's definitely recommended if you want to start eating healthy and have a good time with your family.

The maple cremee drink was the BEST!! OMGOSH. I would definitely just go back for that drink. It's just right 😍 Overall, my students and I had a great time. Nice farm! I would be going back to pick some peaches, peaches, peaches, peaches, peaches lol and maybe some strawberries too. The apple picking was nice though and the apples were delicious 😋

Love this place. It’s a huge farm, with many variety of fruits and apples. They also have vegetables, pumpkin, flowers, etc. Love the hayride, the live music and the food. Their corn on the cob was amazing, so was the candied apple, the cider and the ice cream. Delicious! They bake their pastries on site, so there is always a nice aroma lingering in the air. They also offer wine tasting, rides, activities for the little ones such as animal petting. It’s best to arrive early to enjoy all the activities. Everyone is so nice and welcoming and that’s what keep us going back. Looking forward to our next visit.

Always a pleasure here with much to do throughout the year. We've been here many times over the years during summers and autumns. I recommend getting there early. Plan your visit for sure. The PYO apples are great and there is plenty of variety but many of them are seasonal and also restricted so the trees aren't all picked clean at the beginning of the season. Learn which apples you prefer and pick those. There are plenty of picked vegetables and fruits, preserves, etc at the farm store and everything is reasonably priced. Bring your own bags if you plan to pick more than the bags/boxes they offer.

The staff is super friendly and always ready to help with anything you need.

Save for the sloppy guests who don't care, the farm is very clean. We did pass a few items like plastic bottles and used coffee cups thrown on the ground in the orchards. The bathrooms are small so make sure you do your business before you arrive.

This place has become a must in the fall time... on the more expensive side but 100% worth every penny if you take advantage. They have a wide variety of harvest fresh fruits and vegetables, one of the more fuller farms I’ve seen. They have the tractors taking you around the farm, apple picking, pumpkin picking, fun activities for the kids, corn maze, good food and amazing treats!

Beautiful set up, lots of options for the kids. The pick your own activity was well run and there was plenty of fruit. Delicious pies and ice cream too! Only drawback is how hot this summer is, the bugs between the cherry trees were too intense with the humidity and heat.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Alstede Farms, a picturesque farm located in the heart of nature's beauty. As an avid fruit lover, I decided to try my hand at peach picking, raspberry picking, and blueberry picking, and I must say that my experience exceeded all expectations. - I was the photographer of my group lol.

Upon arriving at Alstede Farms, I was greeted by the friendly staff who provided me with a warm welcome and a brief orientation. The farm's ambiance was delightful, with sprawling fields of vibrant greenery and the sweet fragrance of ripening fruits in the air. It immediately set the stage for a truly enjoyable outing.

My first stop was the peach orchard, and I was blown away by the abundance of perfectly ripe, juicy peaches hanging from the trees. The experience of plucking my own peaches straight from the branches was incredibly satisfying. Each bite into these sun-kissed fruits revealed their delectable sweetness and unparalleled freshness. The peaches were bursting with flavor, and I couldn't help but marvel at the quality of the produce.

Next, I ventured into the raspberry patch, where I found myself surrounded by rows upon rows of luscious red raspberries. The berries were plump, juicy, and practically gleaming in the sunlight. As I filled my basket with these ruby gems, I couldn't resist sampling a few along the way. The raspberries had a perfect balance of tartness and sweetness, making them a delightful treat. It was evident that Alstede Farms pays meticulous attention to cultivating fruits of the highest caliber.

Finally, I made my way to the blueberry fields, which were a sight to behold. The bushes were laden with clusters of small, indigo-colored berries that beckoned me to start picking. With every handful, I marveled at the firm texture and burst of flavor that each blueberry possessed. These little jewels were simply heavenly and made for an unforgettable picking experience.

In addition to the exceptional fruit picking, Alstede Farms offers a range of other attractions and amenities. They have a charming farm market where you can find an array of fresh produce, baked goods, and artisanal products. The farm also provides fun activities for families, such as hayrides, a petting zoo, and even an opportunity to meet some farm animals. It's an ideal destination for a day of wholesome enjoyment with loved ones.

Great farm, lots to do but the bags given for picking are very small.

We went for strawberry picking! It was an excellent set up. Ample parking, lots to see and do with my 5 year old daughter! The tractor trolley runs so often that you won't have to wait in line in the sun at all. Nicely operated. There are enough rest rooms on the site as well as sanitizer/hand wash stations and trash cans to maintain the cleanliness of the farm. The pricing was a bit too costly to me (20$ per person for strawberry picking and 10$ for a pony ride) but due to the pandemic and for the amazing experience and all the manpower they have in such a huge property, I get it. There are tables/chairs with umbrellas to sit and enjoy their snacks. Even the live music was fantastic! Also, I thought it was a very thoughtful touch that they have a baby changing station in a little hut for those who need! All in all, it was a superb experience. Would highly recommend to any families, couples and anyone who love outdoors.

They have everything! Fun for the whole family from farm to table pumpkin pancake, eggs, bacon breakfast, wagon and pony rides, pick your own pumpkins, apples, vegetables, feeding farm animals, soak in their sunflower trail to singing along to the live band while wine tasting. It os well staffed all around the farm to help you with your experience.

This was a great farm! I went with my husband and my nephew and niece. We did apple, egg plant, peppers and tomato picking and so much more! The farm is very big so be prepared to walk a lot! I would recommend bringing a wagon to hold all your pickings. They have alot to do they have the sunflower maze which was so beautiful , then the Everest maze , corn maze, petting zoo/ feeding the animals, ice cream stand, apple cider donut/hot coffee/ hot & cold apple cider truck and a food stand which had cheeseburgers, hamburgers, fries, chicken strips, pizza, empanadas, vegan burgers, and a corn stand which was amazing never had a corn like that before!!! They also had a store to buy all types of goodies from homemade salsas, cheeses, honey, produce and desserts. I purchased honey, apple cinnamon butter, and apple walnut pie. The apple pie was amazing!!!!!!! Absolutely delicious the whole experience was fun and it was an all day fair. So be prepared to be there all day it does get super busy so the parking and lines get very long I suggest purchasing your tickets online and try to get there early. I would definitely come back and for more activities!

Family farm fun! Had a great visit with my little one who really enjoyed all the chickens and goats and rabbits and sheep and rams, oh my! The farm store is great with tons of fresh produce and delicious fruits. We did not have the time for a pick-your-own, but will definitely head into the fields next time.

Alstede farms corn maze is always a treat. The hay ride was well organized and we loved the hay mountain.

You need a full day to fully enjoy everything that they have to offer

This farm has it all. Pictures don’t do it justice . Friendly staff and helpful employees. Tractors guide you via the entire farm it each area. Perfect get away with the family . from the mazes to the animals it’s a great fun filled time . The farm store has a ton of varieties of food and garden flowers .. one of the more exhilarating farms in the area . Traffic in the fall can be a pain .but it goes by quickly and plenty of parking
