Queens Public Library at McGoldrick

This a small location that is well organized with very kind and helpful staff. The female staff we’ve encountered are very friendly and encouraging to younger readers.

This was one of the few locations that restarted their toddler storytime when the Covid pandemic was stabilizing. This program is lead by Ms Michelle — who is wonderful! Knows all the kids’ names and always welcomes new and old with a big smile. She also tries to bring in different instructors during the spring and fall for different activities for both parents and toddlers.

For such a small location, there is a lot of neighborhood charm and lots of resources they provide. Really appreciate that the director of this location tries to bring different programs for young and old. All are advertised on their website so it’s easily accessible. There are ethnic dances, crafts for kids, crafts for adults, language courses, even shows for kids too!

Library is located in a residential area. Street parking is available. Some shopping places nearby. Good facilities inside of this Library. Very helpful and friendly staff. As of this week no more mask requirements. I go here mainly to print, you're allowed 20 free Pages everyday. Very good quality printers. As far as the movies and books go I don't really have an interest in them.

Two unisex bathrooms. Comfortable temperature (not too cold in the summer). Quiet. The library is not big but it was adequate for a short visit for me to get a bit of work done on my laptop and use the facilities.

I was ready to work on my laptop while charging my phone because the battery was low when I realized I forgot my charging cable. The librarian was very helpful by offering to lend me a charging cable even though none of the ones available to borrow were actually usb-c, which is the type I needed. But I really appreciated that she tried.

The library here is small but pretty quiet. I had no complaints. Because it's smaller and not as busy, I found the wifi here was a lot more reliable than the one at the Flushing branch. Great place to work or study

Used to go to this library frequently as a kid. Not the biggest library but it feels cozy. Today i went to renew my library card, nice people and fast process.

I like that cozy place, the only thing I would complain about is the Wi-Fi, I tried to listen to some music on my iPad, but could not open the app because of the Wi-Fi, apart from that, the staff really nice, and the place is small but us teens still have a place for ourselves, a little place where we can study and charge our devices, which is one more point for me!

Good place and nice staff, they also have monthly activities for every body. Will recommend to get involbe and ask the staff because they offer free classes and free summer meals for kids.
