Anchor Bar

The hostesses were super helpful, very welcoming and pointed us to the choice of our table. Ambience was perfect for a sports bar. They have a decent number of vegetarian options considering this place is known for its wings. Nevertheless, the wings were too crispy for my husband and the sauce choices were excellent. I had cauliflower bites and they were perfect. Onion rings were crispy. Labbat Blue light beer went really well with the wings and cauliflower bites. I'd recommend anyone in the area to visit this bar as they do share a good history on creation of Buffalo wings creation.

First time here, and everything was very tasty. The cheese curds tasted just like tiny mozzarella sticks, and the chicken wings were extremely fresh and a good size. The bacon pizza was good with their signature sauce, plus the loaded tater tots are a must try. Frozen drinks were decent. Friendly atmosphere.

Austin is an awesome server for starters! the grilled tenders were amazing ! Their Buffalo wings charred are on point. I would definitely come back again..

Went with husband and friends who knew the original anchor bar in Buffalo. According to them, this was right on par with those original Buffalo wings. I was thrilled with how perfectly the wings were cooked - beautifully crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Ordered medium, but they were very mild. Next time I'll order hot. About 20 taps at the bar, lots of TVs.

Finally got around to checking this place out with the family.
Food was tasty, service was good as well.
My only negative comments, the fries were a bit overcooked (burned, not just crispy). I'm sure they would have replaced if I said something.
And we had dirty dishes on our table for a while, even though the manager (I think) came by to ask us how things were going. If you are gonna stop at a table to check in on your customers, clear empty dishes.

Always a good time when we visit Anchor. Service has always been outstanding which keeps us coming back. Dayne has served us on multiple visits and has always been a fantastic server. Wings have always been fresh and delicious.

Wings are great, Burgers are really good. I haven't tried the Pizza yet, but have heard they are good. Prices are a little higher than you might expect for a bar & grill but the service and quality of the food more than make up for it.

Austin took care of us as usual. We LOVE him! He always provides amazing service! The pizza logs,honey bourbon bbq wings and cheese curds are incredible!!

We had a last minute birthday party outing. 15 people. We did call ahead and they accommodated us. Our server Dylan was amazing. Our drinks were always full. Food was as good as the service! Dylan was very busy with multiple tables but never let us down. Try this place !!

Great customer service. Food was good. Recommend the coliflower wings they are very delicious. Buffalo hamburger 8/10 could use more sauce. Lava cake 9/10.

We ordered pizza. It was good. The service person came back to check to make sure things were good offered us more beverage. And even the manager stopped by to ask if everything was okay. If you ask me I would go back

I had Dayton as a server today and he was great! Please request him as much as possible if you want the best food and service. He went into the kitchen and made it all himself! For an older man, he really hustled! I just wish I had money to tip.

Food was awesome, and Austin was hands down the hest server I've ever had. Based on recent reviews there seems to be a consensus that he's an exceptional server, and he definitely lived up to expectations. I will definitely be coming back and asking for Austin again!

I was blown away by the wings. I got the traditional w a bourbon honey. Excellent wings! The fries were so good. I got queso on the side to dip & it was so good. I had a Miami Vice & the drink was so good. The pizza logs were fantastic. Great service! We went around dinner time. This is kid friendly. Such a great experience!

Dakota is an incredibly polite, and extremely attentive bartender. She was amazing. The food (tried pizza and wings) was also very good. Very, very impressed by my bartenders service :-)

I contacted the General Manager to set up a party for my wife’s birthday. He was accommodating and set up an area with our own server for a group of 20 people. I’m very happy with the service and food. Would recommend

I would highly recommend this place. Our servers name was James and he was excellent. He was very friendly, attentive and had a very nice smile. 😊 I lived in 🦬 buffalo NY for two years and have been to the Original. We were so happy to see this is Oswego- definitely brought back memories. I ordered the Miami Vice and the Spicy Garlic chicken wings. Amazing. My order accidentally came out as the boneless. James was so nice Within 5 mins this was fixed and replaced with the traditional. We dont eat boneless wings in Buffalo 🦬 😉 The atmosphere was perfect and can't wait to come back to watch some football and definitely will be requesting James. The menu items are creative. I had to try the Spicy Buffalo Chicken soup! Delicious and brought me straight back to Buffalo NY! So fun and made my day. Thanks James for all that you do 💜

Dylan was our bartender - he was incredibly kind, responsive, &genuine . We value authenticity and could not be happier with the service. Not to mention .. the pizza we ordered was amazing!
