Nice place to get very close to Hudson river and good place for fishing. Very peaceful around the dock. There is a picnic area very close to dock. Parking is limited and often it get full. Always a goof idea visit early in the morning to beat crowds. There is railway track and bridge right next to dock.

People respect each other the keep the distance ware mask when to closest. The area is clean and a lot of fish but u need to know how to catch.

Beautiful lookout to the Purple Heart Memorial bridge. Grassy areas for a nice sunset picnic. There were a handful of other families there on a Saturday but still quiet so you can enjoy the bird songs.

Quiet spot offering panoramic views of the Hudson River and the Bear Mountain Bridge. From Hessian Lake (where crowds congregate during the warm summer months), you can hike a trail that leads directly to this place. The hike took us 20 minutes.
