Emily was our server and she was beyond excellent! She gave us time and had suggestions. It felt like we knew her after only a few minutes. We started with a dozen oysters then We had the porterhouse for two and shelled king crab legs
Melt in your mouth, eye rolling delicious!

This place is always amazing. Their steaks are better then the palm, Peter Luger, etc in my opinion. The service was great and they had outdoor dining during covid which was welcome.

My friend and I had their porterhouse steak and it was simply divine, each side different tasting and unique but still so tender. The sauces they give just added to the amazing taste.

Their garlic mashed potatoes were the PERFECT consistency, creamy without being too thin.

The fried calamari were large rings that had just enough fried batter on them to add a different, salty texture but not too much, making them just dough. They were also nice and tender, allowing me to eat the big pieces without chewing for an hour.

The side of garlic broccoli was also the perfect taste and consistency. Perfect compliment to the steak.

Was nice that they knew it was my birthday just from the reservation and gave a complimentary desert for us to share.

I made reservations for my boyfriends birthday and it went superb! I honestly had nothing to complain about! My group and I had such a great time! The servers and the host were very accommodating! I was able to bring in my own cake & not be charged for it! The food was definitely something to brag about as well! One of the best fried calamari I’ve ever had, porterhouse was top tier & their truffle fries with parmesan cheese was sooooo tasty!! I also had tried one of my friends oysters, Risotto, & fried cheese and they were all really freaking good! I would definitely come back here and order different dishes. Also the bill wasn’t bad at all and I also liked that their gratuity was included because they definitely deserved it. I can definitely see why Google has this restaurant as one of their top steakhouses in Queens.

Been meaning to come here for YEARS and finally made the decision to do so last night and I will CERTAINLY be back time and time again. Honestly I'm upset I didn't make this decision sooner. 😂

Everything from the food to the service was absolutely great. It seems their prices have gone up just a bit, but overall it's worth it for a nice night out.

Ironically, as great as the steaks were, the assorted Greek spreads were our favorite. All 3 were beyond delicious! Some of the best bacon I've gotten at a steak house, and the barrel aged bourbon sauce was fantastic.

This place has amazing food the different food combinations were different and not traditional but these ideas are all great. For 220 I got the 14oz fillet and everything else was sides because I wanted to try a little of everything. And with the right glass of wine it just all goes together amazingly.

Really good side dishes my friends loved the steaks and sauces it was goood!! I wasn’t hungry but I did try the veggies and sauces lol it was so gooooood! They all talked about how good the NY shell was !

Warm welcome from Staff (probably owner) 😁. Very nice ambiance, very clean. Servers are very attentive. Appetizers, Entrees and Desserts are excellent 👌!!! Craving for steak 😋🥩 then you have come to the right place. This is a hidden steakhouse gem in Astoria (Queens)! Don't forget to check out the wine list 🤫.

This was the perfect dining experience for a birthday dinner and I hope to visit here again.

The service was great. The ambiance was nice.
The food was thoughtfully prepared and tasty. The quality of everything was immaculate.

Arugula salad- large portion, delicious combination of flavors, could be improved with less dousing in balsamic vinaigrette and more fig. ($12)
Calamari- tasted fresh and also came with mini fried octopus ($15)
Shrimp- juicy and lemon flavored ($31)
Ribeye Steak- prepared perfectly as requested, juicy and flavorful ($80)
Creme brulee- crisp caramel top with delicious chocolate on the bottom ($9)

They were kind to include the pre-requested birthday dessert as complimentary.

The best steak house in all of Queens!Ordered a 24 oz. Ribeye medium/well, the way my wife likes it. (I like medium rare.) The waiter suggested it was good for two people even. But me being me I also wanted to try their burger subbed with sweet potato fries. We also order a classic creamy mash, and broccoli with roasted garlic on the side.
For appetizer we had the fried calamari.

Let me tell you it was one of the best meals I’ve had. The staff was on the ball the whole time. And our waiter was so awesome and caught onto my birthday gesture I hinted at for my wife. Surprised her with a strawberry cheesecake on the house and sang happy birthday. 😂 The desert was creamy and smooth with crumbled graham crust and strawberry syrup drizzled around.

All the food was the finest dining quality. It was intimate due to the late time frame and it was nice. The whole experience there was a good vibe. Would recommend to everyone over some overrated place like Peter Luger’s.

So much food was left over we had two doggy bags. And the funniest part is when we sat down, my wife saw the price and freaked out. She’s from a third world country and knows nothing about quality steak. So I had to really explain it to her. Plus I paid so why does it even matter. On the drive home, guess who said this is the best meal she has ever had in her life? Birthday Dinner Date was a success. 🙌🏾🙏🏽

The steaks were cooked perfectly. The service was excellent. Cannot go wrong with any menu item. Will definitely be coming back.

For sure its gonna be the best steak you gonna have in your life, but its a expensive restaurant! But you dont need to come here every week if you’re not rich! lol

Last time I came here I had the jumbo shrimp which was really amazing. And I had the Creme Brûlée for dessert!

Great food in a great setting. It's a steakhouse but definitely not uptight and stuffy. The service is great and all the waitstaff is very friendly. Food came out fast but we were never rushed. Staff is attentive but not intrusive. We ordered fried calamari, the grilled octopus, Greek salad, and a prime wedge along with a few sides. Great. I will definitely be back.

My wife surprised me for my birthday and reserved 10/9 for dinner. This was the first time dining at this establishment and we were very pleased!
We started off with a bottle of sparkling Pelligrino and my wife had a Kentucky honey cocktail which she enjoyed.
I asked for 2 beers on the menu but they came back twice to inform out of stock of both. The remaining beers were Heineken and Corona which are very mainstream and I do not enjoy so asked for Bullitt Bourbon on the rocks, can't go wrong with this.
They brought out fresh bread with an olive spread that was delicous.
For starters we ordered the charred octopus with red wine dressing, arugula, roasted peppers and capers. It was so good and charred, we wanted to reorder.
Next, we ordered the steak tartare which was a first for me as I was feeling adventurous. It was incredible and would order again!!
It is dry aged sirloin, a Dijon mustard and scallion oil with szechuan pepper and a tiny quail egg for richness.
We also ordered a 1/2 dozen of east coast oysters and it was also incredible. Came with the typical cocktail sauce, horseradish, Worcestershire and lemon wedges.
The main course was the porterhouse for 2 which we ordered medium. From experience in other steakhouses, you order medium and it comes medium rare which was the case here but no complaints. Quality of beef outstanding!
We ordered the truffle fries and asparagus to accompany the steak and enjoyed tremendously!
Besides the 2 selections of beer I really wanted not being stocked, it's a 5 star establishment.

Christos Steak House is a culinary gem that never ceases to impress, and my recent visit was nothing short of exceptional. The addition of their Lobster Orzo to the menu was a revelation. The flavors were divine, and the lobster was tender and succulent, perfectly complementing the creamy orzo. It's a must-try dish for seafood enthusiasts!

But that's not all. I also indulged in their Prime Rib, and it was an absolute masterpiece. Cooked to perfection, it was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Paired with a crisp and fresh salad, it was a true delight.

The impeccable service and warm ambiance only added to the overall experience. Christos Steak House consistently delivers excellence, making it my top choice for a memorable Astoria dining experience. Five stars.

My girlfriend treated me to a wonderful evening at Christo’s Steak House last night for my birthday. She is a vegetarian, so this was a real treat for me. To our surprise, there were some really great vegetarian options for her. I can’t believe this was our first time here, but it is an automatic “go to” for special events moving forward. Amazing food, decor, and the service was impeccable. Thank you!

Came here to celebrate my sister's birthday on a Wednesday. I did call in to make reservations, but the night we went there were definitely tables available it could be different senario on a weekends. To start the waiter was super helpful in helping us decide if we wanted our Lobster Steamed or Broiled, he recommended steamed and we were happy with the choice because he said sometime broil could dry out the lobster meat. I will say they had ran out of the 2 and 3 pound lobsters so we had to pay an $19 for the surcharge for the larger Lobster. We started with drinks I really did enjoy the Pomegranate Martini perfect if you do not want a super sweet cocktail. Next we got the 1/2 dozen clams which came with 4 different sauces. 1st Cocktail sauce, 2nd Horse raddish, 3rd butter, and another 4th vinegarette sauce that was not bad. By this time we were feeling nice as they provided bread and an olive spread that I've never had anything like it before Sooooo good, but we were ready for the main course...we got the Surf and Turf for 2 for $155 n the Lobster was HUGEeeeee and for the 2 sides we got the Mac n cheese with bacon which was yummy and the truffle fries which I highly recommend. Before the night was over they brought out a dessert cheesecake with a candle and overall we enjoyed our night. You are definitely going to spend money here, but it was worth it and I was supporting a local business. I would for sure come back and recommend to people I know.

We ordered food to go on DoorDash.
DoorDash never informed us that Christo's was not taking Doordash during the holiday season. DoorDash confirmed our order and listed the time to pick it up. Imagine my surprise when Christo's did not have the order. Totally the fault of DoorDash.
Once we realized what happened, Christo himself made it right. He placed our order to go and asked us to have a seat at the bar and have a drink on the house. Would you believe that DoorDash takes 33% of the bill. Totally outrageous. The food was delicious and piping hot. The steak for 2 could have fed 4 people. He saved New Year's Eve for us.
