The Basement Sports Bar & Grill

My wife and I were in The Valley for an afternoon and evening of bouncing around eating, drinking and eating. The Basement was one of our favorite places we visited. I like Busch Light and the have it on tap. The bar tender was attentive, and personable. We enjoyed talking with her. We had the burnt cheese wrap. It was unique and fantastic. The Basement has a warm inviting atmosphere, cold beer and good food. A must try when in The Valley.

She is attentive and not snobby (just my opinion) like many bartenders in the Valley. Don’t even get me started on the guys and their egos… I digress.

I came down alone. My only complaints :
1. Fries should be thicker
2. Please play soccer/ futbol

📌 Fridays and Saturdays there is karaoke. The team that puts it on is really great about letting newbies sing- so you don’t have to wait longer than an hour for your chance to shine.

Before we even got to eat here we had a great experience!!! We moved to the area recently and when we signed our lease we tried to stop by but they weren’t open yet. A manager gave us two free meals cards to welcome us to the area!! We’ve eaten and drank here many times since moving In, and I gotta say that Bree is an amazing server who is attentive and friendly, and the wings, fold overs, and anything with their pulled pork on it is mouth watering!!! Took my whole family here and everyone was raving about it kids to adults!!
🤘🏻😎🤘🏻 Glad we live close because the TVs are a plenty, the drinks are a tasty, and the food will leave you full and happy. My two cents, but damn this one if absolute favorite restaurants for the food!!

I spent over 20 years in the restaurant industry and I have to say that my experience here was top notch! Everything was amazing from the service the atmosphere to the food.. Andrew’s was an A1 bartender… my only complaint would be Joan’s hair.. (it was too perfect)

I was having a really bad day and stopped in to get a drink. Parker was so nice and understanding. She listened to my problems and made me feel better about my bad day. What else is a bar for? Taron also went out of his way to make sure we got what we wanted despite his equipment not working. Honestly, the meal was better than it normally was. We will be back just for the conversation and atmosphere.

Domunique always gives us fantastic service. The chicken mafia is FABULOUS and my daughter loves their mini ha-has. The manager, Marissa always makes sure she checks on us and that our experience is up to par. LOVE THIS BASEMENT

Parker, our waitress, is THEE BEST and sweetest server!! Please ask for her whenever you go! Love this location and the atmosphere. And them funnel cake fries are fire!

Had an awesome experience at the basement valley location tonight for their secret opening. Food was awesome and our server Parker was the best - such a sweet girl. Will def be back!

Maya is the sweetest bartender ever. Taron is a phenomenal chef- check them out if you’re in the area. Nothing on the menu will disappoint!

Chef T made the experience amazing! He went out of his way to make us a strawberry milkshake, which wasn’t even on the menu! Give this guy a raise!

I never have a bad experience here. The staff is amazing, the chairs are phenomenal and the environment is very open and friendly. 😁 Tarron and Mya have been amazing!

Used to be Johnny J's. Excellent location. Great food menu like all the Basement locations. Great beer choices. Trivia on Wednesday nights. Queen of Hearts drawing once a week.

Mya was our bartender last night and she was awesome! We asked her to surprise us with drinks and she did not disappoint! My friends and I will be back! We will always request her!

Great service, friendly atmosphere and most Important the food was delicious. So glad this place is open again and will go once a week!

Delicious food.. pizza is amazing.. try the Kaluger Chicken pizza.. it’s like mixing wings and pizza.. definitely worth a stop and they are open late!!

Drove all the way from Youngstown to try this place. The cook I think her name was Sarah, was awesome and polite.

Me and my family usually come here when we come into town to visit. Each time they have accommodated all of us as a walk in and there’s at least 10-11 of us every time. But this most recent time was phenomenal. Christian, the Chef, offered to make us some free appetizers that weren’t on the menu. Trial apps if you will. Elephant Ears, a fresh Tomato Basil Flatbread, and a “Pierogi-like” dish. All three of these dishes were AMAZING. The Elephant Ear was the best we had ever had and we’re better than fair ones. The flatbread was extremely fresh. It felt like a home dish because of how fresh it was. And me personally, I don’t like any sorts of pizzas or even tomatoes and I ate the hell out of this flatbread. The pierogi-like dish was so soft and tricked your mind into thinking it was pierogis. Christian needs some recognition man. He even offered more!! This guy needs some recognition, a raise, and to get these items on the menu because of how good they were. Amazing!
