Cost Cutters

Just an old man with short hair wanting to look nice for a very important day tomorrow. A young stylist named Aaliyah cut my hair with the utmost care and attention to detail. I normally wait a long time between cuts because as I said, I am just an old man who’s hair no one really cares about but Aaliyah cared enough to do a perfect cut.
Thank you Aaliyah for caring and doing a fantastic job. I will be back!
Apparently you can only leave one review so I want to edit this one to say I have been back three times now, Twice with Aaliyah and once with another very nice lady who did a very nice job. The new store by Festival Foods is very nice but I have to say Aaliyah makes the experience that enjoyable. Tip her well!

Came in for a basic women’s cut for the first time here. Heidi is the G.O.A.T! First haircut in my life that I gave my vague low-maintenance cut request to and she nailed it! Perfect length and the little bit of blending is exact to my “specs”. Cut was quick and service was excellent! Will definitely be visiting here again for all my future cuts. I loved that I got in and out in 15 minutes and felt like I was a long time client. I have used other salons in Hartford and felt like the poor kid at the lunch table by being a new client. None of that attitude from the amazing staff here!

Karly did a Great job cutting the hair on my kids. A boy and a girl haircut. The other stylists were friendly and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant. I would recommend this Cost Cutters and will be returning myself too!

Update....Kim did a fabulous job as always! I always love my hair when she does it. No one else makes it look this good. Thanks again Kim.

I was able to make an appointment for a Sunday which worked best for my schedule. Kim did a great job with my pinwheel color. I love it and so did my husband. I will definately have Kim do my hair again in the future. She listens to what you want and makes sure you understand everything she is doing. Thank you Kim! 😀

I walked into Cost Cutters this afternoon just a half hour before closing time hoping to get a much needed haircut. I was pleased to find Kim without a customer. She listened to what I wanted, offered suggestions, and gave me a perfect haircut. In addition to providing great service, Kim was pleasant and engaging - especially considering it was the end of her shift. My hair hasn’t looked and felt this good in two years!

I hadn't had a haircut in many months, due to the COVID-19 virus. I was afraid that salons weren't using masks and there would just be too many people to safely social distance.

The other day, I read a review on Cost Cutters Hartford. It was not highly rated because the customer was not happy about having to wear a mask during his haircut.

I went on to to read the response from the salon. It was a very nice response and clearly laid out all of the precautions their salon is taking to keep everyone safe. Once I read that, I decided to make an appointment.

I went online today at 11:45 am and got an appointment with Karly for 12:30 pm. I was the only customer in the shop. Both Karly and Kim wore masks and had everything so clean. I really felt at ease getting my hair done.

Oh, and Karly did an amazing cut and style on my hair. I didn't really know what i wanted so I just told her to do what she thought was best . Wow. ...I'm SO VERY PLEASED with my new cut!

Thank you so much, Karly and Kim, for sticking to your high standards of safety and cleanliness. I highly recommend this shop to anyone. Oh, and the price was SUPER LOW!

My kids, my husband, and myself always go to get our haircuts here. We have been happy for a long time. The ladies are always so wonderful!

Kim was Awesome. I originally got a $60 haircut somewhere else and it resulted in me looking like a coconut. Kim actually made me look my age and worked with such confidence that it was astounding. I look like a badass now.
My only negative is that it's too cheap for a haircut. I expected the price to at least be $45. It ended up to only be $19.

Karly was amazing. She colored and styled my hair amazily. She knew exactly what to do to my hair to make what I wanted 10x better. If I could give her more than 5 stars I would. She's full if energy and beyond friendly and nice.

I came here on a Saturday as I work weekdays and needed a haircut at an affordable price. Shannon cut my hair she took her time to make sure it was nice, Jessie was there and also added some tips !! Both took very good care of me and make sure you like the cut!! I am happy I stopped here.

Had appt with Karly. Didn't know what I really wanted-not overall color, not letting roots grow out exposed. Karly took time to listen, made suggestions. Kim also made suggestion. I walked out with my hair looking very natural and a great cut also. These girls know their stuff and are so nice about it! So happy ! Nancy.

Carly and Kaitlyn are the best duo! Not only do they provide great service but also create a friendly and hospitable atmosphere. I felt as if i was still at home!

I was at Cost Cutters in Hartford,Wisconsin with Kim. I had foils lightening my brown hair to platinum. No brass! Purple toner,razor cut.
