STOP-N-GO #1528

So as a result of my own impatience and anxious personality I found myself dripping wet and frozen the other day as I stumbled into the Stop n GO here in Hartford. I'm from out of town and here from an invitation from a friend of mine to work for awhile in Wisconsin, so needless to say not only was I frozen I was also lost and of course my cell phone battery was dead. And of course I didn't bother to bring any of my many chargers. I wish I could remember the young ladies names who were working that early afternoon around 1:00pm because they greeted me with smiles and graciously welcomed me in out of the cold not knowing or perhaps not caring if I was going to buy anything or not. I don't know if any of you out there has ever been in a similar situation where everything is just going wrong but let me tell you it's embarrassing and shameful to say the least but these ladies immediately made me feel comfortable and they helped me in every way that I needed at that time. They let me use their phone, offered a chair to sit in cause I was exhausted. One of them ran out to her car to get her charger so I could charge my phone and if that wasn't enough they gave me a hot cup of coffee to help thaw out my frozen extremities. Awesome, great, I could go on all day about these 3 women and the help they gave me that day. Their compassion and assistance turned an awful experience into a decent day. They continued to do their jobs in a friendly and professional manner with every customer who.came in while I was there. They may not ever know how much their simple acts of kindness made a difference in my day that afternoon, but hopefully I or someone in the future will be able to return the favor for each one of them someday. So, Stop and Go your afternoon/morning employees are nothing less than awesome. I will recommend anyone at anytime visit your store and I'm sure they will be treated with kindness and dare I say love? Well treated like good people to say the least. Thank you so very much.

One of the best convenience stores in the city of Hartford besides Kwik Trip of course! However, most people do not know that this Stop & Go is actually owned by Kwik Trip & has many of the same products that they have. You can get most Kwik Trip brand bakery items here as well as the Karuba coffee & many other items! Cigarettes & tobacco products here are some of the best prices around. They do offer a small selection of beer in the coolers as well as some smaller bottles of alcohol I believe. Customer service at this gas station is top notch, you will not find more friendly & hard-working employees than I have received here!

His place is good to get freeze food and coffee and more his place is great shop to go

Absolutely terrible employee's and sloppy service!!! Lol just kidding, me and my fiancee come here every day for our daily drinks/snacks/scratch-offs/cigs, and we love the women & men who work there!! ........ Shellz&Marty

The only thing that keeps this from being a five star is that there is at least one employee that has the personality of a cardboard cutout and makes you feel guilty for even stopping in. Otherwise, the place is always very clean, well stocked, and staffed with incredibly friendly people. The prices are as decent as can be expected from any gas station/minimart and the selection is more than you'd expect. We visit far more often than we should, but it's so convenient and has a couple items in particular that keep us coming back - like their malted chocolate milk and their giant chocolate chip cookies.

A good place to find simple fast items after fueling up. It's not a big place, but they have the basics.

Good for quick stops for fuel

All of the employees I have come across here have been super friendly and helpful. Then I stopped today! That girl have the personality of a rock!!! If you don't want to wait on or talk to people DON'T get a customer service job!

cashier was staring at me the entire time i was looking in the store. did not say a word to me. not friendly, made me uncomfortable.

Cashier not friendly. Was mad we entered rewards # before pumping gas even though all are prepaid. Poor service. Hate prepay. Won't be back.
