Best dinner and experience I’ve had in a long time! Everything was good! And the homemade Hokkaido milk bun was mind blowingly good. Chef was super friendly and answered all my questions 😂 explaining the process of making all the tasties. Def a labor of love and we are lucky enough to experience it. Dessert was fantastic as well

The chef, bartender, host, and everything front of house Michael was fantastic. His passion and expertise shows through. The behind the scenes crew were spot on. Everything was delicious and well executed. A++
If you are visiting the area, this is the place you are looking for. Locals already know, and from what I saw, are very much supporting such a great experience. Looking forward to our next visit!

The Vali family has been offering fine dining through multiple generations. Michael and Dee carry on the family tradition that will be sure to be a highlight of your trip or evening. Each evening has a unique dinner, and is reservation only. Be prepared to reserve a week or more in advance. If you do not know the Vali's you will enjoy getting to know their family, and their story.

Need a reservation. They only have a fixed meal with two settings at 5 pm and 7 pm. Very popular with locals.

Always delicious food & fantastic service. The owners are wonderful. I’ve been craving some schnitzel and sure do wish we were closer to the Vali’s restaurant. If you visit Wallowa County, The Vali’s is definitely a must stop (don’t forget to make reservations) for dinner! If you are lucky enough to visit during donut season (yes, it is a thing) the Vali’s donuts ARE THE BEST. 5 STARS!!

Such a great little place! Last week we ordered donuts on Monday for pick up on Saturday Morning. (we were staying at the state park). Pickup was smooth, and the (owner?) was so friendly and genuinely enjoyed serving his customers. I could see his smile through his mask. And the donuts? Oh man, those donuts. They were SO DELIGHTFUL. Order some, go get them. They're so good. Thank you!

Great place. We made reservations way ahead, glad we did. Food was fantastic. They serve one dish a night. We had cabbage rolls and sauerkraut. Wow, yummy. Apple strudel for desert was also great. It was cozy and nice. Our waiter Michael was great. Thank you for a nice evening.

Oh. My. Not only the absolutely best donuts I have *ever* eaten, I'm not kidding, the strawberry shortcake may have been the best thing I have ever eaten in my *entire* life and I am almost 50 years old. The steak- perfectly medium rare. Call the day before to ensure you also can experience this gastronomical wonder. Fresh donuts on the weekends. I'm serious. The best food.

In addition to getting our order of blueberry cinammon rolls on the last day we were also able to get a table for dinner that night. Late in the season they only serve one item for dinner. Schnitzel was the offering and it was great and large portions. Customer service is very friendly and personal. Everyone was made to feel as though they were longtime family friends. Definitely worth a visit for dinner.

Been coming here for almost a decade for the friendly owner and great food. The owner is hilarious and her kids are great too. They enhance the atmosphere of the place. My favorite dinners are the kababs and pork schnitzel! The flavor is perfect and so tender. The schnitzel is huge so bring your appetite. They also have good cocktails, wine and rum cake. However, if you want the best twisties or raspberry filled doughnuts then this is also the place to go. Be sure to order them a few days before as they go fast. The twisties are my favorite hands down as the flavor and crispy outside and soft inside are amazing.

If you are near here it's worth your time. I was out camping and saw the small restaurant. We didn't have reservations but tried to come back the next night and they had a cancellation. Wasn't exactly sure what to expect but I can describe it as an amazing meal that is served immaculately. That night it was a pork cutlet with scalloped potatoes and cabbage. It was huge! I suggest saving room for dessert because this is where choices are. Or if you're like me you just try them all!!! He was even nice enough to serve my choosey daughter rainbow sherbet. I want to plan more camping trips to wallowa lake just so I can visit again. And this time I will make reservations.

Been going here since '06, and have never been disappointed since. Michael and Dionne have been such phenomenal hosts for years, and they have been cooking some of the best European food in Oregon in my opinion. I would recommend going to Vali's when you visit Wallowa County, but just make sure to put in your reservation for food. ; )

We placed an order for donuts on Saturday night to be picked up Sunday morning and we're so glad we did! They were such tasty friend morsals of sugar. The place did have a line that formed about 15min before opening. If you didn't call ahead and are not there to be in line before opening, I doubt you get a donut!

You have to try it. IT. IS. AWESOME. So tasty you can’t stop eating, simply a pearl of NE Oregon and even the whole state. Judging from my profound experience with 1&2 Michelin stars places and substantial amount of time enjoying foodies’ places like SF and Philly.

Hands down the best restaurant my wife and I have ever eaten at. Exceptional food, wonderful atmosphere, and extremely friendly staff.

We spent our 1 year anniversary dinner here and without a doubt I can say we could not have made a better choice.

We live just a few miles from Vali's and eat there regularly. From the weekend donuts in summer to the special holiday dinners, it couldn't be better. The food is delicious, and the owners are wonderful.

Wow, what a special place. The kebabs were delicious and plated with flare – for a very fair price. Best of all is the delightful and friendly staff — they make patrons feel like they are a member of the family. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant, please check it out!

Always top notch!! Couldn't ask for better food or service. A culinary delight in the middle of gods country, would give 6 stars if I could.
