Just enjoyed a few nights in 107A cabin at this resort and everything was great. Super clean, great value, incredible location with Wallowa River right out the window, and right after Labor Day (which we heard was a madhouse) was the perfect time to visit the Wallowa Lake area. Very few people and perfect weather.

We recently stayed in 103, and had a really enjoyable time. The cabin is a bit out-dated, but that didn't bother us much - we like the charm! It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable - it seems that maybe the furniture and bed in the main room were new. The only thing I would recommend is having a better selection of pots and pans, especially a frying pan. We could not find one, and could not make fried eggs or bacon in the morning. Also, both of the front porch lights were not working, and the bathroom vent light would flicker and then turn off. But, overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Love this place! It is a family owned business which is a huge plus for me! My best friend and I shared the Chinook cabin this past week during my annual autumn vacation and it was wonderful! The cabin was clean and comfortable, the staff was great and down it’s just a short drive away for anything else you need including great food and coffee. I will definitely be staying here again!

This is a wonderful resort off the beaten path which I enjoy in the off season. Some cabins are around Wallowa Lake or by the river. I like the studio cabin along the river for the relaxation of listening to the running water. Lots of trails for hiking or horse back riding but my favorite are the deer wandering around that come right up to you. The views whether down by the lake or up in the mountains are breathtaking. The Wallowa Mtns are also called the little Alps of the United States.

We stayed over Memorial Day Weekend. I feel we were very lucky to find such a great location on such short notice. We stayed in "Cottonwood #8"... was not actually a cabin at all, but a back corner of the main office building (a triple wide mfg home). It had a separate entrance, covered private deck, living room w/ kitchenette, bathroom, and bedroom. We loved it, and were pretty happy with the fact that it was a more private setting than many other cabins. The only issue I really had was opening windows and air flow. There is one window in the bedroom, and one in the living area that open. Before leaving for a day out, we opened both. Upon returning, the interior smelled like gasoline. Didn't realize the yard and maintenance equipment were lined up right under the bedroom window. We opted to only open the living area window from then on. If you're looking for a slightly more modern or "homey" feel, this cabin is a good choice. We will be renting from Flying Arrow again!

The perfect place for our family reunion! So many hikes, treks and outdoor activities. We have loved every minute of it here. Our cabin, 25, felt like it was our welcoming home away from home. Comfort and invigorating scenery surrounds; the restful sounds of the river flowing by. Paradise! We will be back! Australia is not too far to travel from! The Wood family loves Flying Arrow Resort and recommends it to families with zest!

Reserved one night and decided to stay another. For a cabin so close to nature it was prepared as well as any average hotel. The cabin we had came with separate bedrooms, a fireplace, and heating (which was very effective and loud). The rate was great for the atmosphere, but this was during the off-season; come summer the affordable, quiet atmosphere might change.

First time visiting the area and my husband and i couldn't be happier we chose to go through them. Never met such great natured nice people. Our cabin was independently owned but they were there for all our needs. We did not want to leave!

Cozy and comfortable cabins in a beautiful setting. It is our favorite place to visit. The summer is gorgeous and the winter snow makes the entire town picturesque.

The cabin is always well kept and the locals are friendly and always willing to help with any questions you may have. This is the most beautiful part of Oregon.
