Glacier Ridge Grill & General Store

We came here in August 2023, were seated immediately and requested to be outside. There was a couple getting ready to sing, and we were excited they were just about to start. We had the best time laughing and singing and dancing. And the food was PHENOMENAL. I got the special, which was tri-tip. It was seriously so good. My husband got the huge burger and he loved that also. Then we got huckleberry pie. It made our anniversary dinner so great. Such a fun, memorable night.

And plus, they are attached to a convenient store, which proved to be convenient as we needed a few things. They also had souvenirs like shirts and magnets, which I needed also!

Great service and great food. I am always pleased to go to Wallowa lake and this summer my bf and I went to this restaurant and wow! The portion of the clams were great along with the taste of them and the fries. I was definitely full and sad I couldn’t finish my plate because I couldn’t keep leftovers. I wish I could remember what my bf got but his sandwich was soooo delicious! I will definitely be getting the chicken sandwich he got, the next time I’m at the lake.

Great service, great staff and and a menu which will satisfy those picky diners. Club sandwich was excellent although it was so thick it took two tries to get a bite. Highly recommended!

Love this place. It’s out 3rd year coming here for Joseph days. It’s a great place to get a good burger and fries. The servers are great. Yea it’s a long wait but that’s everything in Joseph this time of year. We will be back.

22 of us with a Utah car club came to Glacier Ridge to pick up deli sandwiches to take on our way on the Hells Canyon Scenic Byway, to the Hells Canyon overlook. Oh my gosh, Glacier Ridge made the BEST deli sandwiches, with chips. They had everything ready, the condiments, everything. So delicious. So gracious. Such great customer service. Everything set out for each of our members to walk in, grab the sandwich they wanted, and all the accessories, and chips, and pay for their sandwich, and we were on the way. Just so very impressed with this restaurant. YUMMY! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! You cannot ask for more! Thank you, Glacier Ridge! We bought drinks at their general store, just so great to come by. We'll be back!

Ate here on the 4th of July! Food was delicious and great service for being busy! Had the special meat loaf sandwich it was so good! Definitely a need to eat at while camping or visiting the lake

Everything was very fresh...worth the visit!

To start off with the staff is so friendly and inviting. We have a large family so wherever we go it can be difficult. We were greeted and seated with ease and a friendly smile. Our order was perfect, even with all our special requests. Megan and Mary were the best hostesses/ servers I've ever encountered. On top of that the food is amazing. From burgers and chicken to French dip and tri tip. Packed with flavor and great portions. Definitely stopping here every time we're around. Thank you staff! From beginning to end you guys are excellent

We recently visited the beautiful Wallowa Lake and stopped to have lunch at the Glacier Ridge restaurant. I can honestly say that the Tri-tip sandwich was hands down the best I have ever had! The service was exceptional and we very much enjoyed our visit! I cannot give the sandwich enough stars for how good it truly was! Delicious!

I knew what I was getting into going to a "grill" styled restaurant, but the food was excellent. I expected mediocre which I would have been fine with, my expectations were far exceeded. Service was great as well. I had the tri tip sandwich, fries were kind of "meh" but that didn't bother me at all.

The Reuben sandwich is one of the best I've ever had. A thick slice of tender corned beef, melted Swiss cheese, sauerkraut (not too much-just right) and a great sauce on grilled bread. OMG. Try it. You'll like it even if you don't like Reubens!

2nd year for new owners. Service is good. $2 tacos and $5 draft beer was a great way to treat the family out for a quick meal out.

I have been eating and hanging out here with friends and family for about 12 years now. It's where the locals go. Excellent service, prices are low for a tourist area, good food and full bar. Owner is friendly and hard working. There is outside and inside seating. Try it, you'll like it. Wallowa Lake Village at its best.

Yummy burgers, gluten free buns .. no hard cider that wasn't fruity ... Really nice staff, we sat outside with our dog and they brought him water.

Amazing restaurant, even going into Joseph or Enterprise does not meet the same amount of quality you get here, personally I've only had the burgers but my family has had other items on the menu, the general consensus is that this place is *the* place to go to if you are in the area. The pricing is generally Fair for what you get and the quality always seems to be within reason.

Best RUBEN ever: THICK SLICED “REAL” CORNED BEEF, perfectly accompanied with Swiss, Kraut & Sauce on deliciously crispy grilled rye. If you are a Ruben fan, you REALLY need to have this one!

This place gets better every time we go there. The mother and daughter that work here are so friendly and sweet, and get our order right every time. The food is also great. We are setting up our next day to go back.

What a gem of a place to get a bite to eat! The service was incredible, the food very tasty, and the prices can't be beat in town. My only suggestion is to expand the breakfast menu a bit. You will be happy you made this place a stop.
