This place has a really cool vibe! I really like the setup, a restaurant upstairs and live jazz shows downstairs! The delicious comfort food they’re serving and soft jazz playing in the background really sucks you in making it hard to leave the tranquil setting. The calamari is a must try! I ordered the the blackened catfish it was a generous portion and a flavorful meal, one that I’d repeat. The staff was super amazing, very friendly and helpful!

they just re-opened under new ownership, and the food was amazing, drinks were fantastic and affordable, and the service was awesome. 11/10 recommend.

Love the craft beer and wine selection! Our appetizer and entrees were great. The po boy was one of the best I've ever had. Great seafood and vegetarian selections. Our server was super helpful and attentive. Atmosphere was comfortable and romantic for date night. I'll definitely be back!!

Ate there a few weeks ago with friends. The southern style food was delicious, great drink selection, and friendly staff. The atmosphere was great and you can go downstairs and enjoy some jazz after your meal. FANTASTIC date night spot or a fun night downtown with friends. Will definitely go again.

Fabulous dining experience last evening! The catfish and coleslaw were amazing, as were the BBQ Ribs and red beans and rice. We tried the seasonal cheese board and were very impressed with the selection! A wonderful dinner before enjoying the show downstairs!

the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. The service and atmosphere were great, and the four meals at our table were all excellent. Unique recipes, excellent presentation, and phenomenal taste. If you’re in the Akron area, put this in the “must go to” list. You don’t want to miss it

It was our first visit to BLU on the way to a movie in the neighborhood. We had some of the best ribs ever and the drinks were well mixed. The service was attentive and friendly. We hope to return soon to try more dishes and enjoy some music.

The selection is astounding. Amazing drafts, and the best food I've had in Akron. Wednesdays are probably my favorite, and the Blue Jazz Club is connected via a flight of convienient stairs. On top of the great food and drink, the managment staff is one of the greatest I have ever seen. You can feel the team environment in the service. I give this place 10 stars, and I found a new hangout place. Did I mention live music??

Went on a Thursday night when they had a live jazz session downstairs and then invited people to come up and play with them. It was absolutely fantastic! Setting, food, cocktails, music and wine were all superb! If you are in Akron you MUST try this place!

The food was great and the service was terrific. We had stuffed pork chops that were so tender and moist. The Shrimp Po Boy was great as well as the open faced French onion steak sandwich. The crawfish beignet was very tasty too.

Went for the first time to attend a wine pairing dinner. Chef Ben came out and explained each dish. We had risotto, lamb chop lollipops, truffle fettuccini, beef carpaccio, and duck. Everything was amazing and paired extremely well with the wine. When we were done with dinner, we headed downstairs to the live blues music.

Food is excellent as is service! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We have eaten here a few times and the food never disappoints. The crawfish etouffee and herb roasted chicken are fabulous!
For dessert apple benign is a must!

Had our Christmas party there last night. Food and drink was great. The Jazz bar downstairs was awesome. Love this place, will be back soon.
