Our family loves the little hikes. Was hopping to see more birds. It depends on the time of year

Great place for kids. The water stays shallow for a long time, so there is plenty of room for kids to wade without getting too deep. Drive right to your spot and set up. Super cheap entry fee for this type of place - 5 bucks per car, I think.

One of my favorite birding refuges. While much was still frozen the swans were wonderful. It was worth visiting even in off season. Of

The blue water and sandy beaches makes this a place for everyone to enjoy. If you swim or just sit on the beach there is alot to watch. You can bring your own toys or rent some...love this place.

Way cool. Great beaches. Be aware there is a lot of wind in the afternoon on a regular basis--tie down any tents you put up.

Fun, but it's crowded. It has cost $5 per car to get in for a long time and it's so worth it. Sit on the beach and play in the water all day. Bring food when you come.

Great place to spend the day. As close to a beach on the ocean you will get inland.
