Diamond Heart Cattlemen’s Steakhouse

We stopped by Diamond Heart Cattlemen’s Steakhouse after a day of boating at Bear Lake. We absolutely loved this place. The staff was so welcoming, our waitress was so sweet and attentive. The burgers were amazing! And huge! Also an Idaho girl like me LIVES for fresh cut fries with some fry sauce. This place does it right.

Such a good place to eat!!! The beef is homegrown and raised by the owners! The quality is absolutely amazing! Worth the stop, trust me! The fries are the best, buns toasted, and just all-round delicious!

We were fortunate enough to come right when it opened. I just want to start by saying, get the ice tea. It's soooo good. The service was great. I got the Ranch Hand Burger. My fries and burger were well seasoned and the cheese was that perfect ewwy gooey goodness that it was melting down the side. A must try when you come to Montpelier.

This place is a very local product that locally sources their own meat as well as other items and give you a wonderful dining experience. We arrived to find that Prime Rib was the special for Friday but also the rib eye is also very popular. We split ours and it was more than enough for us but know many will want the full platter.
Recommend it highly if you are passing through here or staying for a while. It has many unique features including attention to details like the salt served at table...a local product too!

It is located in the Montpelier Plaza. My steak was juicy and tender,and, so delicious!! My husband and son enjoyed their sandwiches! I would highly recommend eating here, we will be back.😊

Our server Kylie was very kind and polite. She checked on us every minute or 2. The steak was phenomenal. The cook Tanner made my medium rare steak perfect. I couldn't be more pleased. It's to bad we don't live in Idaho, because we'd be guests they would see a lot. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a great meal....

The Rib eye melted in our mouth and the shrimp, loaded potato, and toast was great. Our waitress was great also.

The service was very welcoming and on point! My food was very satisfying and would highly recommend. I had the steak and shrimp. Steak was very tasteful and the garlic mashed potatoes was out of this world. The cocktail sauce for the shrimp was perfectly executed with delicious flavors and had a kick of spice from the horseradish. I really enjoyed this restaurant and will definitely be back.

The ribeye was very flavorful. Great potatoes, and very fresh side salad. We were impressed and would come back if in the area. Best place to eat for miles around.

Awesome place! Love visiting these small town home cook restaurants! Everyone in my family loved everything that they had ordered. Waitress was super nice and just lovely!!! Had a few little mistakes, but you know who cares, she is super nice, great service, great environment all around! Would give them 10 stars if I could. Definitely the place to come and stop for food!!!! Very great prices

If I could give six stars I would. Stayed in nearby Paris, and with almost nothing else open on a Sunday evening we took a chance on this place. We were treated like royalty and had one of the best Ribeyes I've ever eaten. Our waitress was as sweet as could be. When we asked her about something to do, she went and got her husband, who as it turns out cooked meal. He came out to the table pulled up chair, and proceeded to give us a number of free activities. That's service! To top it off, we were all given free brownies for dessert... And they were to die for. Fantastic experience here!

Our first time here. We are locals but hadn’t eaten here. New owners have been here for a few years now. They serve their own beef they raise. Can’t get more local than that. We had the tomahawk. It was phenomenal. And cooked perfectly medium rare. They cut their own fries every day. I will be eating here more often!

This steakhouse was amazing. Definitely a hidden gem in Eastern Idaho. The blooming onion and ribeye were phenomenal. The servings were very generous and the ribeye was season to perfection. The service was quick and very friendly. Will come back every chance we get.

I didn't take a photo because I ate it up! My ribeye was cooked exactly how I wanted it. Juicy, well seasoned. Didn't need any steak sauce. Generous sides. I would definitely recommend!

Great little place! It's clean and bright. The service is friendly and the food was really good. Had the Wyoming Dip sandwich and a cheeseburger, and cheesecake, and everything was very good! Next visit we're going to tackle the tomahawk!

The steak was done to my exact desire, and the rest of the food was also great! Would recommend, great family owned business!

Chicken fried steak was fantastic and only 14.99.
Our waitress was friendly and got our food out to us in about 10 minutes. I would recommend this small town steakhouse. We got free cheesecake for our review.😋

We stopped in for lunch on a motorcycle trip. The food was very good. Our server did a great job. We met the owner, who raises the cattle that provide the meat for the menu. Every cut of meat we had was excellent! If we're ever through there again, we'll definitely stop!

My husband and I were in town for a half marathon. We both ordered the petite tenderloin meal. The meal came with salad, potato, 6 oz cut of beef, and garlic toast. It was AMAZING! It is local beef with great flavor. Everything is home made and great quality food. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone! Also the prices were very reasonable! The meal was $20 per meal. Clean place and friendly service.
