Everything was just wonderful! Renee (owner), was so sweet, and so welcoming. She taught us proper etiquette for tea time since most of us were first timers. Food was delicious, service was amazing and educational. Definitely worth a stop if you are planning an afternoon out of the ordinary and want to get fancy. Her cucumber sandwiches ARE THE BEST!! We will be back and are going to recommend to family and friends in search of a unique experience.

Beautiful atmosphere. Very accommodating and helpful! She made sure the experience was the best it could be for all involved. You choose your tea, many flavors! The food was delicious as well! Make sure to make a reservation before hand!! We did not know and she still accepted us with open arms and love so my daughters were not let down and I appreciated that very much! Very respectful and so kind, we will return!

We came here for my sister's 52nd birthday, and this experience was new for me, but it was the best experience I've had. We had a nice-sized party, and Ms.Tea Lady was just the best. She had an itinerary on the tables and explained everything as each item came, very professionally. I just loved it!

My partner and I have been here now twice - once for their birthday and the other when our victorian-inspired fashion club hosted a meetup for National Tea Day. Both times we felt welcomed and the staff was very nice and made the experience feel like an English tea. Lady Renea always knows how to make things feel elegant, this is truly a diamond in the Rubber City. I want to thank her for taking the time to host our group, and know that she can only go up from here as I plan on visiting for meets and bringing my family.

The high tea experience was excellent!!! The tea and food were all amazing, the service was incredible and we overall had a great time. She was also very accommodating to the fact that we were celebrating a birthday. Thank you so much for an amazing experience!

My husband and I came to celebrate our 6month anniversary and we had a lovely time. The owner was so welcoming and accommodating to our dietary needs. The tea and food was delicious. We loved the decor and atmosphere of the shop. We can't wait to come back!

We had the opportunity to take our mother here for Mother’s Day and it was amazing! The atmosphere, the tea, the food and the personal service were AMAZING! This elegant spot in downtown Akron gives the option of a relaxing and enjoyable experience in the middle of a bustling city. We were absolutely blown away! If we could give ten stars, we would!

My mother's birthday outing went wonderfully! The soft jazz music, pretty table cloths, and place settings added to the occasion. Sandwiches and desserts were all homemade, and in the right amount. I definitely want to come back again for the Christmas holiday!

My husband has a dairy allergy so we had the Vegan Afternoon Tea and it was phenomenal! We were so excited to find a tea room that could accommodate his dietary needs. We were reassured about each course and individual item being dairy free so we were able to feel safe and have fun! We do frequently eat vegan since it’s a safe bet, but coming from non vegan eaters I can say all the vegan food was delicious! Such a fun and cute date!

I hosted a surprise birthday tea party for my mom here beginning of January 2024. Working with Renae leading up to the party was wonderful. She is so kind and helpful. We had a delicious afternoon tea- fruit cups with whipped cream, a platter with chicken salad croissants, egg salad, cucumber sandwiches and INCREDIBLE desserts. My MIL is GF and they accommodated her diet and she said it was delicious! The music and atmosphere were relaxing. Renae have us little etiquette lessons throughout our tea party which was fun and interesting. Finally, at the end Renae sang happy birthday to my mom- she has an incredible soulful voice. Lots of attention to detail. Overall, wonderful experience!

Delicious, many unique tea choices, lovely service and fancy atmosphere. The Tea Lady was able to find me a few gluten free items on short notice even though I hadn’t made a reservation in advance. I’m sure she’d appreciate you reserving 48hr in advance for those though 😉 my daughter thoroughly her children’s afternoon tea. It was a fun mother-daughter date

This place is amazing. Service is top notch. It’s like dining at an old friends house who has impeccable taste and makes you feel warm and loved. She also has the best tea and the pastries are to die for. Beautiful presentation and decor. I barely took any photos because I was too busy enjoying my time there!!

My wife went for afternoon tea with a friend and they are definitely going back. The food and tea were delicious, people were friendly, and the atmosphere was great!

From walking in the door, I felt so welcome. The owner was so sweet. The food came out and was exemplary. The presentation and taste was fine. She checked in on us regularly. She was kind and talkative. When we left, she gave us a hug. I will definitely be back for my bday so she can sing to me. She sang happy bday to a nearby table and it was great!

Beautiful and cozy atmosphere with amazing food. If you want to feel and dine like a dutchess for an afternoon tea, I cannot recommend this place enough!

Tea with The Tea Lady was such a great experience! We didn't have reservations but when we arrived the owner and her granddaughter were happy to squeeze us in. Bigger groups should plan to make reservations though. We did the mini tea for 3 people and it was the perfect amount of food. Everything was delicious from sweet to savory and the raspberry nectar tea was the perfect blend of sweet and herbal. The best part about the experience was the service. Everyone was so friendly and the atmosphere they create felt like we were being welcomed into their home. I highly recommend for any occasion.

My mom and I enjoyed a lovely high tea service today. Everything tasted delicious and the service was excellent. We never felt rushed and were well attended to throughout the courses. We had a wonderful time and highly recommended The Tea Lady as a special place to pause from the craziness of life and reconnect with those at the table.

My sister and I decided to hold a Tea Party in memory of our late mother with a few family members and it was the greatest decision to choose the Ohio Tea Lady to host us. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was so serene and calming. Not only were we served delicious Tea sandwiches and infused water along with a carefully selected tea choice, we were also served with useful information and history of Tea Times and proper etiquette. I definitely recommend and would share this experience again with my grand daughters.
