Great place for a quick bite. Had a sandwich and salad delivered for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the spice in my grilled cheese. Loved the fact they serve white French dressing. Not super common anymore. Highly recommend for a quick bite.

Absolutely loved this place and will be back! From the friendly and helpful staff to the delicious black bean and sweet potato burrito (without cheese)- it was great! The staff also made a wonderful PB&J for my toddler. Highly recommend.

This place is so awesome. The workers are always friendly. The women at the front counter are always so pleasant. This is my first time trying the breakfast sandwich. I can tell you that it is worth every single penny that you spend on it. The croissant is really soft and buttery tasting. There are two different cheeses on the sandwich. It was great.

Found this place on Google when our original brunch place was closed. I'm glad we found it! A cite little spot but with enough room for dinning. We tried the Monte Cristo, chicken and waffle sandwich, and a wrap with bacon, Jalapeños egg, cheese, and Kale. Plus a few different lattes. All soooooooooo good! Definitely will be back and highly recommend!

We stopped for lunch while in Akron, and we're very happy we did. Good selection and good coffee. After some hesitation I had the Kimchi melt. It was amazing. The sandwich was a riot of flavors and textures, but everything was perfectly balance: sweet, sour, spicy, chewy, crispy. 11/10 eating experience. Definitely one of the best tasting sandwiches I have eaten this year! My kids were laughing at my transcendent lunch.

A great place for lunch in downtown Akron. It is a nice little shop with inside and outside seating. It seems to do plenty of take-out business. The menu has plenty of options featuring sandwiches, salads, wraps and specialty drinks. I've had the Turkey Club wrap, Cuban quesadilla, Spicy Chicken Power Bowl and a Blackberry Chia. Nothing was disappointing. All where fresh, tasty, served quickly and the price point is reasonable.
This place is worth going out of your way to go to. It's a little bit of a walk for me but it's worth it to get a good quick meal!

One of the best vegetarian sandwiches in Akron with their Cilantro Lime Veggie Panini. The sweet potato and black bean wrap with kale is also super good. Love the 23 sauce. Always nice. The online ordering and curbside pick up make it very convenient.

Chameleon cafe is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!!!
Everything that I have tried here has been delicious BUT their buffalo chicken wrap, their cilantro lime grilled cheese, and jalapeno popper grilled cheese are my absolute favorites.

I also love all of their drinks and I like that they have plenty of decaf options!

What’s crazy is I’ve been in Akron since 2018 and I never heard of this place and I don’t know why. It’s pure awesome sauce. Great food homemade deserts and fresh soup man o man def come here

Seriously, I don’t know why someone said the vegan options here are slim…because they are far from it. As a vegan, I ate like a QUEEN. All fresh ingredients, delicious combinations and fantastic staff. If you’re vegan, just speak up and they will tailor the menu to your liking. They even gave me vegan cheese! Lovely place full of vintage/antique decor mixed with fun and bright colors. Easy going place that will definitely satisfy your cravings. If you love healthy food, go here. You can taste every single ingredient because the food is that fresh! Yum! Thank you!

Fresh and feel good food! I ordered the Rico Suave Breakfast Burrito (pictured), tater tots, bagel with garlic cream cheese and a latte, all of which were excellent! Very fresh ingredients and great presentation. I’m looking forward to trying more menu items the next time I visit.

Freshly and wonderfully made breakfast. Not heavy on the seasoning, so request packets of you know that you like yours that way. The iced caramel cappuccino was rich, creamy and balanced.
A little $$$, but I don’t feel cheated.

LET ME TELL YOU….AMAZING!! From the delicious food to the amazing coffee. Staff are friendly and area is clean. This is a such a great place for folks in Akron. ALSO- the French vanilla shaken espresso is incredible 👏🏼

Downtown Akron cute cafe ! Great location very very affordable, downtown still a working progress but most definitely the city is improving in having small local shops where you can have a nice cool lunch , bagel , coffee or salad that’s for sure . Great seating area inside, they have some books you can read for free while you wait for the Akron library to open , very very clean location ! AAA plus …🎖🎖🎖🏵🏵🎪🎪🎪🎪🎪🎪🤹🏻‍♀🤹🏻‍♀🤹🏻‍♀🤹🏻‍♀🤽🏿🤽🏿🤽🏿🤽🏿🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼In a good days you can seat outside and enjoy a sunny day . Akron public library is next door , the Akron museum is very near 2 minute walk , a super cool local brewery near by ,🛴🛴🛴🛴🛴🛴🛴parking is a little bit tricky , they have meters everywhere, plenty of parking decks available for you , not that expensive , not like downtown Cleveland when the browns or the cavs are playing , you are looking at 20 to 49 dollars to park ! Not downtown Akron , there is plenty of places to do so . You can even park your car next to Luigi’s Pizza and walk ! Around ! Weekend parking is free in the streets ! 🛴🛴🛴🛴🛴🛴🛴🛴🛴🛴🛴🛴🛴🛴 the city little by little is adapting to new technology on lots of things !! Quite a few boutique hotels around the area as well ! Akron is a city that is creating a new identity as well , the art community is growing as well !! I hope you enjoy your visit to the city ! And have fun !! And be patient wherever you go !! Every thing I'm tried there is excellent!

My mom and I came here looking for a bite to eat. We were going to go to a different place, but couldn't find it, so we checked this place out. The food is on point here, we got the meatball smasher with marinara sauce and I could have that every day for the rest of my life and be content. They also have a large variety of foods available, with vegan and vegetarian options, to breakfast sandwiches, and a large number of delicious teas and other in-house beverages.
The employees are the most friendly, caring people, who want to make sure they get everything right, and I really appreciate it. Give them a tip when you're here, they deserve it so much.
If you're not used to the city and don't want to get robbed walking around downtown, they have DoorDash so you can get it delivered to wherever you live. The price is lower in-store, but it's convenient at least to be able to order online.
Come to this place to eat at least once. This is a beautiful hole-in-the-wall with great decor, wonderful employees, and the best food you can get downtown.

The food and drinks at Chameleon Cafe are delicious! I especially recommend the jalapeño popper grilled cheese and the Pot ‘O Gold iced latte. So good!

Cuban quesadilla was top notch. Normally not a fan of mustard, but it was included perfectly. The pickles were my absolute favorite part.

I've been coming here for a couple years now and always recommend it to anyone in the Downtown area. Really good food and even better service. The staff is always super friendly and I've never been disappointed with what I order.
