King Chuan Restaurant

Usually if a restaurant has good ratings or service, then the food isn’t as delicious. That is not the case for this restaurant! Both the food quality and taste as well as the service and atmosphere were 10/10!!! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates fresh, delicious, Chinese food!

It’s a great place to have either comfort food (noodle soup) or some strong flavor food! Not sure why there’s not much ppl cuz the quality of food doesn’t change much during my past two time visits. Really appreciate how they try to add as much colorful veggies as possible! Will visit next time for sure:D

We visited this place during Christmas, and it was super crowded! We waited about 30 minutes for the food, which was hot and enjoyable. However, the food is a bit pricey for its taste and quality. On the positive side, the servers were friendly.

We love this place!! We come here often and have always received the best customer service and best Chinese food! We usually get the Mongolian Beef and Honey Shrimp. Susan (the owner) is such a delight!

Just stopped by here for the first time last night. The quality of the food was very good! Also, the service was quick and friendly. We ordered the General Tso chicken and the crunchy noodles. Both were delicious, and we had enough leftovers for another meal. Will definitely come back.

We have enjoyed King Chuan in San Carlos for almost twenty years. Susan and her staff are always attentive and the food is excellent. Favorites include Hunan Chicken, authentic pot stickers, and han gen chicken.

Athentic Chinese good. Loved the corn soup and the sweet & sour chicken. It is one of my favorite Chinese resturants in the area. maybe even the best one 🤔.

Dropped by King Chuan's after a tough day at the office on a Thursday night about 10:30. Nobody but me eating here? The place was empty but they close at midnight. That's fine because service was prompt and there was hardly a wait for food. They deliver locally until 10p. Good to know.
Started off with :
'Fried Prawns' app. 5/5. Crunchy, golden battered shrimp tender on the inside, served with the most extreme hot mustard I've ever had!
Followed up with :
'Singapore noodles' 5/5. Soft noodles tossed in a light curry seasoning mixed with tasty veggies, chicken and more shrimp.
Didn't hurt the wallet either. Just under $30 otd.

Me and my family were visiting in town from Orlando,FL and wanted some good food and luckily we found it here. We ordered so much and all of it was FANTASTIC. The service and hospitality was amazing and everything tasted authentic. I highly recommend this place if you are in town, you won’t regret it!!

The owner Susan makes everyone feel welcome . The staff is very friendly and very nice to small children. I really enjoy having lunch here . Everything I have ordered here has been excellent.
This is about the only restaurant in San Carlos that is open on Christmas!

Nice place for Chinese food. The food was delicious and there is a large selection of items to choose from. Prices are reasonable. Parking is limited but there is a lot nearby. Seating is indoors only. Did not require a reservation.

Great food, nice ambiance & friendly service. A winner in all three categories.

Great (and pretty healthy food). Owner is awesome and caring. We have dietary allergy needs, and she has always taken care of them too. Love this place

Staff is friendly and informative. The owner Susan is welcoming and her enthusiasm for life and her clients is endearing. This was our first time but certainly not our last maybe have to go again this week 😁 Happy family, smoked pork with leeks and Westlake soup and another Westlake soup to go for mom. My husband is asking me why I never introduced him to this soup😆 Even the menu has helpful and delicious alternatives to the usual fare.
This has become one of our go to places. Sautéed happy family is now one of our comfort foods❤

The Sesame Crispy Chicken was phenomenal!! Friendly service with only a short wait.

A family-style restaurant should embody exactly what Susan and her team have achieved - a welcoming ambience that feels like home and efficient service management. Moreover, the food they offer is deeply satisfying and heartwarming.

I ordered a hot & sour soup and a King Chuan chowmein...I've never ate something so similar to the taste of the same dish in mainland China...boy they're good...

This is a fabulous place to eat!! We were in town to pick up our new car and our hotel suggested going to San Carlos for dinner. We picked this restaurant because I love egg foo yung. This was the BEST I have ever had. I'm so sorry I don't live near by!! You can't go wrong eating here. The staff is great, the food is exceptional.
