I started working with Amy and Momentum Physical Therapy over a year ago when I had become nearly imobilized by spine and disc issues. Within a very short period of time, Amy helped greatly reduce the pain I was experiencing and aided me in gaining greater mobility. This was not a "quick fix" and forget about it. Amy was great at helping me to build better habits, create a workout routine to build strength and flexibility, and focus on avoiding re-injury. I would recommend Momentum Physical Therapy to anyone in need of a physical therapist.

Amy is very knowledgeable and efficient with her treatment. She thinks outside the box and considers the patient and their body as a whole which contrasts with many other PT experiences I have had in the past. She listens and is honest and authentic with her feedback and treatment. I appreciated her services and would return to her in the future if I needed other PT.

Amy is great! She was able to help me get to a point of exercising without pain. This has been a 10 year journey with little progress with other out of state specialists and PTs. I highly recommend her! Her office is also very comfortable.

Momentum offers a quiet, impeccably clean and therapeutic environment. Amy is professional and detail oriented. She genuinely wants to get to the root of a problem and incorporates how the problem is affecting your work and recreation. She used various modalities to treat my back and neck symptoms and checked in with me after I had "graduated" from her care. Highly recommend!

I had been dealing with nagging hip pain for over a year, it was affecting my quality of sleep as well as my work and active lifestyle. When I finially made time to go see Amy Pakula at Momentum, she was able to get me out of pain and on my way in just three visits! Her combination of dry needles and corrective exercises was just the ticket! Back to enjoying life pain free!

It's rare that I can say that someone's product changed my life, but that's what happened. Amy's expertise and knowledge amaze me. If you're having a persistent back problem and you've never been to see her, then I'm excited for your opportunity to get better.

I wish I had met Amy many years ago. After a debilitating injury 30 years ago and another about 15 years ago I thought my life would consist of chronic and at times unbearable pain. After years of chiropractors and a few physical therapists I found Amy. I literally walked out of her facility not being able to believe how much better I felt after 1 visit. Several visits later and following her exercises and stretches I actually have pain free days on occasion and am able to function normally. Wow!! Amy did wonders for me

Amy is by far the most patient and thoughtful practitioner that I know. She has been by my side since I first visited her with knee issues through a major back surgery. She spent countless hours helping me regain strength and mobility. I am so thankful for her knowledge and skills. I would highly recommend Amy!

I highly recommend Amy to everyone. She is an extremely knowledgeable and helpful physical therapist. She helped heal my neck injury through stretches and exercises to build strength. She also introduced me to dry needling - a total game changer for me! Amy has a wealth of knowledge about all things spine, neck, and migraines.

Amy is a true healer and an exceptional physical therapist. She has helped me through my neck and jaw pain and provided me with tools to address my pain and get back to doing the activities I love. I always recommend Amy to my friends looking for a physical therapist with a holistic approach!

Amy is fantastic! I saw her because of some knee pain I had been dealing with for many years. I was training for my first gravel ride, and I wanted to make sure my knee wouldn't keep me from it. Amy made me feel very confident in my ability to ride and overcome the knee pain. She gave me PT exercises that adapted to the weightlifting I had already been doing, which made me feel more motivated to complete them. She went above and beyond by helping with nutrition and training routines, and even checked in with me after the race to see how I did :) Thank you Amy!!

I reached out to Amy ~two weeks before I was set to run a marathon with some nagging knee pain that I needed to get sorted out quickly. Amy got me in to see her immediately, and was incredibly helpful. She identified the issue and gave me a plan that would get me through race day. She also reached out multiple times to check in on my progress and offer additional advice. Amy knows what she's talking about and really cares about getting people back to the activities they love

I have known Amy for almost 5 years. We actually met at a networking event as we both own our own businesses but we started talking about running, a passion I had recently returned to with great force. A few months later I began to see Amy to help with some knee swelling and to try to work on weaknesses that could lead to injury. I have seen a lot of healthcare professionals in the last 5 years and Amy is one of the good ones. You feel heard and seen. She believes in you and your own journey but she also doesn't make any false promises. If you are big runner or deal with chronic injuries/pain, this is an especially important quality because our journeys to recovery can be slow and up and down.

I just saw Amy again last week and I was reminded how wonderful she is. I am so grateful for practitioners like her AND people like her. I never feel alone in my injuries with her. Thank you so much Amy!

After trying various options to address my sciatica pain, including multiple physical therapists and even surgery, I found Amy and have been amazed at my progress. She helped me understand the psychology of my back pain and how I could look at it differently. Through her hands-on approach and exercises I quickly saw improvement. For the longest time I was afraid to do certain exercises as I thought I would hurt my back even more. With her guidance she helped me gain confidence in what I am capable of doing. I am much stronger and my sciatica is pretty much gone. Recently, I hurt my shoulder and went directly to see Amy. Again, her hands-on approach and exercises had me feeling back to normal in no time. I highly recommend Amy!

Last year, after a 16 day backpack trip on the John Muir Trail in California, I was experiencing chronic mid-back tightness and pain. After a few sessions of physical therapy with Amy and a series of take home exercises I was pain free and on my way to increased mid-thoracic mobility. Amy's hands-on approach to physical therapy, where she spent 45 minutes physically manipulating tight areas in my back, was a refreshing change from other physical therapists, who in my experience, have you perform a series of flexibility tests, diagnose the problem and then send you home with DIY exercises. I highly recommend Amy and her practice, Momentum Physical Therapy

When I first saw Amy, I could hardly move for the sake of back pain. She worked with me slowly at first, giving time to heal and permission to be still. Then we worked in exercises incrementally until I had full range of motion. I still do stabilization exercises(they are so easy) and I'm so grateful to have my full active live back. Amy is easy to talk to and attentive to the details. She was respectful of my concerns and my anxiety. She was exactly what I needed.

I love Amy's approach to pain management! I was encouraged to reach out after following her social media and appreciating her comprehensive view of physical pain / lifestyle / neural pathways. She's an amazing problem solver who 1) makes her clients feel hopeful that that IS a solution for whatever their chronic pain is... even if it takes awhile to pinpoint exactly what it is and 2) makes addressing it feel manageable. I highly recommend Momentum Physical Therapy!

This is the best physical therapist I have encountered! Amy brings not only a deep well of expertise and tools, she also has the ability to tap into what your body needs to be healthy and strong long into the future. I cannot recommend her services enough. Whether you need to heal from an injury or strengthen core muscles to prevent harm, Momentum is the place to land.

I cannot recommend Amy as a PT enough! I love her holistic approach to alleviating pain beyond just exercises. She's a great listener and I feel heard with my concerns and dislike of certain exercises that cause discomfort. I was able to successfully navigate back pain and a steroid shot to strive towards my fitness goals again. If you have back pain, go see Amy!!

A friend referred me to Amy after hearing about my struggles with another PT. I'd had a L5 discectomy but was still experiencing S1 nerve pain (sciatica). My surgeon released me and simply said I was fine to return to my normal activities (trail running, snowboaring, backpacking, gardening) but I wasn't fine. I went back to the same PT I'd been using pre-surgery and had no improvement. Then, I went to see Amy. The combination of manual therapies, dry needling, and exercise is what finally worked. Amy is personable, well-educated, she listens, and she got me back out running again! While it's been a slow reentry, I am confident I have someone I can rely on to keep me on my recovery path. I cannot recommend her enough!
