The Inn at Haines

The Inn at haines : central to everything Haines , easy to find, easy to meet new people. Leslie's B&B is nice, with a private room and bath, and a fenced back yard that's available to you and the other guests. As a B&B based on a 1912 home, the common areas like the living room, dining, and kitchen are places where you will meet other guests, and share travel stories. We both very much enjoyed the experience. Since it was our 31st wedding anniversary, it was a perfect place to stay, and also a good home-base for my scientific field work.

Historic building with only 3 guest rooms. Lesly is a very friendly and helpful host.

The Inn at Haines is a most welcoming 1912 historic home just steps from "downtown" Haines! The rooms are comfy and cozy! The breakfasts are wonderful- fruit, cereals, yogurt, tea, coffee, juice, fresh baked items when possible, breads, bagels, and homemade jellies/jams! I felt so at home here. Good internet too.
Traveling alone and finding such great hospitality at a B & B makes my trip so much more memorable and enjoyable. Do not hesitate to stay here with Leslie! Main fridge has a "guest shelf", and microwave available. Only 4 miles from the ferry terminal.

Great location right in the heart of Haines. Leslie is truly an amazing host. Great recommendations and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was fresh and had great variety. Would definitely stay here again at this cute BNB. Clean and comfy.

Everything about The Inn at Haines was wonderful. It is a beautiful house. Great rooms(I ended up having to extend my stay and was able to experience 2 different rooms) the beds were so comfortable. Each of the rooms I was in had a private bathroom. It did not feel like I was staying in a strangers house. I felt very welcome and peaceful during my stay. Leslie is a wonderful host. Her presence brightened my days and her suggestions about what to see around Haines made my visit more enjoyable. Its location has a great view and is close to all the great, locally run, tourist shops. Next time I am in Town I am definitely going back to The Inn at Haines.

Leslie’s Inn stay was a spectacular gathering place for our family in May 2022. A place for a quiet rest in the oh-so-comfortable sleeping areas, relaxation on the front porch, garden, and living room, plus the perfect place for celebration, conversation, and breaking bread together at the big table.
We really treasured our time together and it was all made possible with the seamless, efficient care and genuine kindness of Leslie.

What a great find! Very cozy and welcoming, I stayed in Room 1, just perfect for me. Love the antiques, lots of pillows, soft towels, the small touches everywhere. The shower for this room was lovely, but might not be great for someone really tall. In that case, book another room as it’s your own private shower.

Leslie is an amazingly gracious host, the rooms are charming, and the location is perfect. My sister had all 3 kids together again; wonderful!

A wonderful stay in every way. Leslie is kind, knowledgeable and always has helpful suggestions for what to do in town and the area; breakfast is above and beyond; rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is ideal. The perfect place to stay in a stunningly beautiful town.

I met Leslie under unfortunate circumstances. I had started a cruise without my long time boyfriend because he was feeling ill but we had plans for him to meet me in route. Unfortunately his illness became severe (complications of lung cancer) and, of course, I wanted off the boat. The cruise line made the preparations for me to get off and Leslie was my contact for off boarding and going through customs (strange process since the boat left AK .... and we were still in AK). Long story but missed my flight out of Haines that evening despite the heroic efforts of Leslie. I was off the boat, needed a place to stay, feeling defeated, when Leslie revealed that she had the B&B and requested that I be her guest for the night. She was my angel that day and I will NEVER forget her caring and hospitality that she showed me! She even asked me to follow up with her as I made it to Pete. Unfortunately he passes away two week later. If I am ever back in Haines Leslie will be the first person I reach out to!

Such a lovely place to return to after a busy day exploring Haines. Wonderful sourdough bread in the morning, great coffee, and a cozy living room to curl up with a book. Great location.
