One word: magical. Our 1-night stay was a quick get-away for our son’s 16th birthday so he could experience some good ole Idaho fishing. Warm cabins, storybook creek, clean bathrooms and a friendly host- who even left a sweet brithday message for our guy upon our late arrival - ensured that this will be the first of more visits to come.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Montpelier KOA. The staff was exceptional. They went above and beyond at any available opportunity. They gave all the kids a coloring book and crayons which was a nice touch.

The location was absolutely beautiful. It was a little outside town and was so peaceful. The creek that ran through the property was beautiful and they had plenty of benches located along the creek to sit down and enjoy the quiet. The playground was great and the kids loved it. The sports court was fun as well. The pool wasn't quite done when we stayed but it looks very nice.

The cleanliness of the campground was great. I don't think it could have been any cleaner and the camp store was well stocked. We stayed in a RV site and it was perfect. It was a great size and very nicely laid out. It had a fire ring and a nice large picnic table in each site.

I would highly recommend Montpelier KOA to anyone. For us it was a great escape from the craziness of Garden City but still close enough to enjoy Bear Lake.

We stayed in our pop up camper. We had easy access to the very clean restrooms and showers. The whole camp ground is very clean despite them doing construction. They were courteous of noise during construction and though certain areas were down the playground was set up for all ages. They even put up a bouncy castle for the children to enjoy! The staff was very friendly and answered any questions we had.

We stopped by this delightful spot for one night. Very good access and easy to find. Kayla was very hospitable and even gave us a bottle of Cider as a gift as they had just opened for the season after a snow related delay. We could see that there was a lot of work done recently to upgrade the facilities. A new swimming pool is under construction. Isaac and Kayla were seen through the evening on tidying up the landscape. Obviously proud of their property. Nice kids playground, super clean washrooms and showers. We would certainly return here if ever in the area again.

After almost 2 months on the road, of which most was boondocking or staying at government campgrounds, we decided to stay one night at Montpelier Creek KOA so we could plug in, water up, shower, and have a relaxing night before continuing our journey home. Having much experience in taking care of public campgrounds, I was quite impressed with the staff, the facilities, and the setting of this site. I must say that everything was extremely well maintained and clean! Highly recommended.

This is a small park, which is refreshing. It's well kept and appears to have lots of upgrades.
Location is ideal if you like to fish, hike, off road. And it's really quiet and dark at night. Seeing the Milky Way is stunning.
Super family friendly.
Big rig friendly.

The lady at the counter named Lori went above and beyond her work duties. Every time I saw her she was working her her butt off. She helped us tremendously when a really bad rain storm came to us. She deserves a 5 star. The camp site was so clean. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you Lori for all your hard work.

This KoA is beautifully located on Montpelier Creek. The facilities were in a bit of an uproar when I was there four days after opening, but everything was clean and in good condition. They were building a swimming pool, wow! I was renting, but the small cabins look really nice and are right in the water. Kayla was a super hostess, always ready to help. I highly recommend this place for an overnight or an extended stay.

Cabins Life there is PERFECT. Clean, cute, and next to Creek. We can't wait to get back in July. Staff is AMAZING and makes us feel like family. Book fast, though, because their new pool, pickleball court being put in is going to make this the fasted book place ever. If you forget to bring bedding (the dollar store sells whole sets).

We are a 41' coach towing a Jeep and have spent two one-night stays in this KOA......and we would certainly return again. Easy access and exit from/to US-89, well maintained, very quiet and peaceful. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Our two sites have been level and satellite friendly even though a bit shaded by trees. We highly recommend this KOA.

I had the wonderful opportunity to stay in one of the cabins with my wife and some friends over this past Memorial Day weekend. The campground is really cute and the cabin was amazing! We had a river next to where we were staying and it was such a relaxing experience. The bathrooms were really clean and nice and the staff was very helpful with anything we needed. Would definitely go back again.

Cleanest restrooms at a KOA ever!
Grounds were nice although a little small. The lady working was really nice. Aprox 25 minutes from North Beach @ Bear Lake.

My family and I visit this campground this summer and I thought it was wonderful. The new management is super friendly, the sites and bathrooms are clean, and the area it's in is really beautiful. There is a little streams that runs through right next to the cabins with a cute little bridge that crosses it and a little trail you can walk along next to the stream. It's really peaceful and quiet. I'm looking forward to visiting again.
