Loews Ventana Canyon Resort

This is a great property at a truly amazing location. We only stayed 1 night, but we really enjoyed it. All of the staff that we encountered were friendly and accommodating. The drinks and food at the bar was really good. Breakfast buffet was great and the omelet bar was spot on. Kudos to the staff for being so down to earth and welcoming.

My recent stay at Loews exceeded all expectations, leaving me thoroughly impressed with both the service and accommodations provided. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for an exceptional experience.

What a lovely resort surrounded by mountain views all around. Just a short walk or drive to many beautiful hikes. Even within the resort, there is a viewing area to watch the sunset. They had many beautiful spots to take pictures. They have a golf course, huge lovely pools, a jacuzzi with a small waterfall and an accessibility chair to get in if needed. The restaurants on site have delicious food! The bedrooms were lovely and spacious with views all around, even overlooking the parking lot! The staff were all very friendly and check in was a breeze. The valet, bell desk, and front desk staff make you feel extra special.

We went there for Thanksgiving, and the whole place was decorated beautifully for the occasion. On Thanksgiving morning, they had a harpist playing in the common area during the fancy Thanksgiving brunch you can buy tickets for. Looks like many families and groups came together. The brunch was quite pricey, around $100/person. But on Thanksgiving, they also had an option for a breakfast buffet for around $25/ person that had a live omelet station, croissants/ pastries, and various other breakfast items.

We really loved our stay at Loews. Tucked away in the hills of Tucson, it's a great destination. There are restaurants on site, a really beautiful pool and Hot Tub as well as hiking trails. This hotel feels very elegant and luxurious. Rooms are comfortable, with a safe and small refrigerator as well as a balcony. Beds are VERY comfortable with luxury bedding. Parking is free in a well lit lot. We brought our grandchildren for a short trip to Tucson, and we all had a lot of fun. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The hotel is easy to find and secluded enough to help travelers feel like they've gone on a real getaway. The lobby area has huge glass windows that look out towards the pool area, which is truly stunning. Everyone that I observed there seemed to be having a great time, including us!

Wow is all I have to say. This is by far the nicest resort I’ve ever stayed with the most pleasant staff. We were kindly upgraded to a suite by the rooms coordinator at check in and it was my birthday weekend and it made it so special and memorable.

There’s not enough words to speak to this resort and the incredibly special memories we were able to create here.

The landscape and walking trails were gorgeous and well maintained; every staff member we interacted with was kind, helpful, and overall pleasant.

You want to stay here. Stunning backdrop and ambience around the property. Even when busy it never felt crowded. Every staff member from the front desk to the cleaning staff genuinely cared about our stay being awesome. This place exuded class all the way around. Access to hiking into the beautiful Ventana Canyon right next to the resort was a really cool perk. Then to return to delicious food and drink and great service at Bill's poolside. We look forward to returning and highly recommend to others!

Really lovely grounds that includes a SW desert walking trail to a waterfall. A really big pool with hot tubs behind the main building that includes an outdoor eating and drinking place. The adults only pool and hot tub is across the parking lot behind the gym and Flying V restaurant. There is a locker room/changing area for that pool from a door near the pool that goes toward the spa. The cascade lounge is a nice place to hang out for a meal and drink although the servers can get backed up ordering. The observation tower is a great place to watch the sun set.

A beautiful and relaxing stay. The location of the hotel in Ventana Canyon is breathtaking, and the grounds are some of the most beautiful I've seen. Take a morning walk up to the waterfall for an amazing view. The rooms are very clean and the housecleaning staff is phenomenal. But most of all, the beds and bedding are out of this world; high quality and beyond comfortable. I highly recommend and will be staying again.

The best beds we slept on during our vacation throughout Arizona. Staff treated our family like we were special guests. The rooms were clean and the roomy showers are top notch. Enjoy the sunsets and sunrises in the observation tower or above the resort on their nature trail. The pool/hot tub/cold plunge was roomy, clean, lots of towels and a blast to swim in when it's 40 degrees outside.

We did a holiday high tea here. It is a bit pricey ($65 plus tax and tip), but it is very much worth the price, in my opinion. You're really paying for the ambiance, for sure. The food was lovely, there was champagne, and tea, of course. It was nice that Ventana has finally returned to doing their holiday high tea. I hope to do it again next year.

Even though the resort may appear to be older, I found the property to be wonderful. It was very clean. The rooms were very large. The food was delicious. The lobby area was very large, comfortable, and inviting. All of the staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Tucked away, quiet, amazing views, great golf courses. Spectacular service. Minus the heat not working in our room during a cold period in AZ, everything else was great about this resort!

The warm and comfortable, yet luxurious feel of this resort is magical. Staff made me feel welcome and I truly felt like I was part of one big happy family.

I am overwhelmed with how incredible everything was during my stay. My arrival and departure experience was awesome; the guys up front were happy to be there. They smiled and offered to help but didn't make me feel bad when I said I'd roll my own bag, the check-in was FUN, the room was lovely (never slept better in the big comfy bed) and each time I dined, the service was impeccable, and the food was delicious.

Can't wait to return!!!!

Customer service provided at this resort was excellent. This resort provided a unique experience with its featured nature walk and wildlife as part of the property's premises. They have many activities from golf to tennis to star gazing. The staff and accommodations made our stay so enjoyable and relaxing.

My fiancé and I stayed here as a wedding guest for a nearby wedding and had a fantastic 3-day weekend! Upon pulling up, we were treated like royalty with all team members truly wanting to accommodate us.

The property itself is in a stunning location with tennis courts, pools, pickle ball, and hiking/walking paths for an early morning stroll.

I used the gym during my stay and had a great workout with nice machines and equipment. The gym is located within the spa area so it was nice to walk around and have access to the sauna in the locker room as well.

The room itself was incredible with a balcony to die for!!!!!

Before checking out, my fiancé and I talked about coming back for a stay-cation and utilizing all of the amenities and on-property restaurants.

What a treasure! We came down from carefree for the night to explore the area. I enjoyed exploring the grounds and resort. The trails, the sunset, the waterfall were amazing! I love the architecture of the resort, the crystals, the decor, and the service. Our room was perfection, no complaints here!

Conferences and events are well done. Food is generally tasty, and service is quick even with over 500 people in attendance. Parking can be far away from the entrances, but the resort provides golf cart shuttles.

Found Loews Ventana Canyon on a whim - going to area to do some hiking. What an unexpected little treasure. It's an older resort but really maintained well. Just a few little updates to maintenance of room would have made it perfect. The grounds are lovely.

Superior hotel on the hill in Tucson. Lovely spa atmosphere. Beautiful hotel with great views. Love the patios off the rooms. Rooms are lovely with great amenities. Worth a trip for a relaxing getaway.

Great resort. Massive bathtubs, outstanding quality of materials in every possible way. Only recommendation is to either add the resort fee into the rate or get rid of it all together.
