Septenary Winery at Seven Oaks Farm

An under the radar gem! Beautiful, serene property, staff and owners are wonderful. Thanks for help with dead car battery sigh. Great whites and Bordeaux style red blends are some of the best reds in Va! Get there while they are still serving the 2017s!

This winery is nestled in a beautiful spot beneath gorgeous views of the mountains. Wines are decent and staff is super friendly! Definitely Recommend!

Septenary offers a very different experience than a lot of the other local wineries. First off, it's a 21 and older only venue so no kids. Second, the service here has a white glove touch - bottles/pours are brought to your table and the personal service is fantastic! Third, every wine on offer is a banger. It's honestly hard to choose a favorite but we're torn between the Manor House 2016 and the Coleman 2016.

Absolutely beautiful setting! I want to find out who does their lawn and pay them to do mine!! My fiance and I had a hard time not buying all of their wines since we loved them all. Very polite and knowledgeable staff, who genuinely wanted to help and converse with their guests. It is a 21 and up establishment, having children of my own I can understand not allowing children, to obtain a calm and relaxing ambiance. We will 100% be returning next time we we are in the area.

The BEST winery in VA!!! BEST wine and BEST for wedding. We had our wedding here. The owner is super nice and helpful. We did not have a wedding planner, but learned everything from the owner. She is just so thoughtful and sweet. They have several very beautiful places for the ceremony. Very nice room for the bride and groom. The wine is incredible. Amazing team. All of our guests had a wonderful time here. We could not have such a perfect wedding without Septenary!!! We bought their yearly membership after the wedding. The member card can also be a great gift for close friends. I would definitely recommend Septenary for wedding, amazing wine, gathering with friends!

I don’t understand the 1-star review from a day ago …. Everyone on their staff is polite and friendly, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Their wines are high quality, and the personal attention is terrific. I would highly recommend going here, and I go back frequently.

We were here a Friday morning as a group of 7. They were so welcoming and helpful. We shared tastings and followed up with glasses of wine. The atmosphere was very chill for the start of a Friday, very serene. The shade and the breeze on a super hot day was perfect too!

Wonderful, welcoming, and welaxing! Ok- that last one had to begin with a W! We were greeted by the owners Sarah and Todd, then taken care of by server Sarah. The servers were friendly and professional, including going out of their way for the many guests enjoying their spectacular setting with outdoor seating, picnic tables, an outdoor pool setting, and sweeping views of the mountains. Of course, the wine has to be primary in vineyard experiences. Septenary wines were exceptional! We tried the sparkling Chardonnay, Estate Chardonnay, and Rosé of blended Chardonnay and Merlot. They had a number of reds that we were saving for next time, but the owner Sarah brought us out several of their beautiful red blends, especially the Cabernet Franc blends, which we really liked! Overall, it was a beautiful tasting experience with complex wines that appeal to all wine drinkers! And both Sarahs were wonderful as well- thanks Septenary!!

Probably one of the best winery experiences we've ever had. From the second we walked in, we were made to feel like welcomed guests. We decided to do a group tasting which was a wonderful choice. We had plenty of tastings and great descriptions and conversations about each wine! The staff were amazing and really added to the experience.

My husband and I absolutely loved this winery and have added it to our favorites! The grounds are so beautiful with the most gorgeous magnolia trees you’ve ever seen! The wines are delicious and the staff is super friendly! The absolute BEST part of this winery is that there is no one under 21 allowed! We toured all the wineries in the area and after hearing screaming kids all day and getting hit with balls, I had my husband Google a kid-free winery! We were thrilled to find this gem of a spot! And furbabies are welcome! If you love beautiful scenery, great wine, and are sick of other people’s screaming kids then Septenary Winery is where you want to be!!

Perfect blend of friendly service, wine offerings and apps to complement a trip to a winery. I highly recommend taking the time to visit this vineyard that caters to the details of every patron. From the staff to the wines and scenery, this is a great spot to visit. We came after hiking and were greeted with a welcome anf unassuming spirit unlike other vineyards in the area. Great experience from host to wait staff.

Such a great winery - we had a fantastic time here on vacation. Wine is very good - staff was fantastic and the view was outstanding. A must stop on your trip.

Spent a lovely afternoon here drinking a wine taster for 2 and enjoying a pre-arranged lunch assortment. Everything was so delicious and made me feel so fancy and special! We brought a little pop-up tent for our pup and they let us put it on the lawn and stay as long as we wanted. Really nice vibe and a good balance of attention and hands-off approach. Great view as well.

I have been meaning to try Septenary since it opened and finally got to on a girls trip this October. We shared a flight of five wines which were all great. My favorite wine is viognier and I loved theirs. Their flight was so fun because it was meant for sharing and you could choose up to 5 (the price varies if you choose less). They allowed outside food when we were there. Our server was super sweet and gave us some great recommendations. The winery was beautiful and I highly recommend stopping by, especially on a nice fall day

One of our absolute favorites anywhere . All the wines are very good. Sarah and Todd, the owners, are very engaging and super friendly and helpful. Staff is excellent, well informed and very very helpful. Setting and buildings are beautiful, relaxing vibe, and inviting. Everything about this place is positive and you can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend. Great place for wine club members too! Darn near perfect!

The wine was excellent! I love a big red, but their viognier was great! The grounds are beautiful and offer both shady and sunny options, as well as a spacious indoor area.

We asked around. Nobody mentioned this place. Saw it on the map. Tried it out. It's beautiful. Great service. And, we're not connoisseurs or anything but the wine's actually really good!

Absolutely beautiful vineyard. Doggy friendly. Staff is very nice and helpful. The wine was good enough to buy bottles to go.
