I loved my wedding cake from Baes Baekery! It was the perfect fit for our Beauty and the Beast theme wedding! I got so many compliments from all of my guests about how beautiful the cake was and most importantly how good it was! Everyone loved it so much! I highly recommend for your special event! Amazing!!!! My only complaint would be we did not have any left for later because everyone loved it and ate it all!

Abigail and team were incredible to work with for my wedding! I wanted a hand painted cake and they delivered! It was a stunning cake, but also delicious. Best cake flavors and frostings we have ever had! Cookies were an incredible hit at the wedding too as they were gone within minutes. Definitely recommend going with Bae's Bakery for your special day!

We are HUGE Bae's Baekery fans. We have been visiting the Baekery for years and all their treats are delicious. We use them for every birthday, big event, and try to stop by whenever we are in Louisville.

When it came time to plan our wedding, it was a no brainer that Bae's would cater our cake and dessert bar! We asked for a hand painted / impressionism style cake and it blew our minds. It was a beautiful piece of art! We also had a delicious dessert bar featuring 2 flavors of cupcakes and multiple flavors of cookies. Everything tasted amazing and we loved having multiple options for our guests!

We used Bae’s bakery for my daughter’s birthday cake. She requested a koala cake which is way beyond my skills as a mom who casually bakes. I sent in a request and received a response with thoughtful, kind and creative words. Once the design was settled my daughter waited for the day to come get her cake that she had been wanting all year. We picked it up and were greeted by smiling and joyful faces. The bakers came out and said happy birthday to my daughter and told her that her cake was their favorite. It was a little moment that my girl will remember forever. The cake itself was perfect, the design was flawless, the taste was out of this world. It is by far the best cake I have had in a long time. But what sets this place apart is the amount of love and care they pour into their work and relations with customers. My family are total Bae enthusiasts now because they not only provided a superb product, but they showed us true kindness and care.

Also their cinnamon rolls and cookies are exquisite!

Abigail was absolutely amazing! She made a cake for my wedding in March 2024 and it was the most beautiful cake I have ever seen! And it tasted better than it looked! It was the hit of the night and everyone asked where it was from and said it was the best cake they have ever eaten!! I could not recommend Abigail or her bakery more for your next special occasion!!!

We have been using Bae’s for all of our big birthdays/celebrations for over 3 years now and not one single time have we been disappointed. Not only is communication and service top notch but the cakes, cookies etc are the best we’ve ever had! Not to mention, they always bring our vision to life! Bae’s Bakery is by FAR my favorite bakery in all of Louisville. Abigail and her husband take such tender care in the crafting of all of their treats and go above and beyond to make sure every sweet is perfected for their customers. Their cakes not only look amazing, but taste even better. They are worth so much more than they sell them for. The kindest business owners who truly love what they do and it shines through their work. I could not recommend them enough— their cookies, which started their journey, are to die for as well. You think Crumbl is good? Prepare to have your mind blown. I am so lucky to know these talented and magnificent and kind hearted folks. I love love love their sweets and will always go to them for any special occasion in need of sweets. You should, too. ❤

I finally stopped in at Bae’s Bakery and I will be a customer from this day forward!!! The owner is so friendly, warm and welcoming and the pastries I bought were out of this world. The Italian Cream Cake was so delicious that I was not able to keep the bargain I made with myself to share it with my husband…I just could not stop from eating all of it! The cinnamon bun was perfection and the iced sugar cookies are not only the best I have ever tasted but also stunning to look at it. I am hooked and will be going regularly to get my card punched!!

Abigail did a phenomenal job on these cupcakes for my wife's 35th Birthday. I gave her a vague prompt and her artistic vision and hard work did the rest.

I'm a 38 year old man. I don't get overly excited about food. I don't say things like "YUMMY!" 😆 But I literally almost wept when I saw these.

She put a lot of heart into these. She was either already familiar with D&D terminology or took the time to research ideas and themes.

Bae’s Baekery designs amazing cakes that are so modern with brilliant colors. So much so, that you will hear no end of “where did you get that cake?” It will definitely command center stage of any event. We asked for a garden tea party baby shower cake and the only instructions I gave were the words and that I wanted a teapot on it with some flowers! I was overcome with delight when I saw the cake. And did I mention that the cake tastes amazing too? An immense thank you!!

Definitely my favorite bakery for sweets in Louisville. The shop staff are always super friendly and know all they have to offer if you don’t know what to choose. Delicious cookies, brownies, cinnamon rolls are fantastic. Just received my first order and it turned out great! I’m not usually a cookie cake fan but the one here was unbeatable- I got this as a gift but obviously had to try a bite. Highly recommend:)

These are some of the most indulgent cookies I've ever had. Forget all those other cookie places. These are soft chewy and filled with decadent goodies. They're also some good Savory options. My daughter and I recently attended a cake decorating class and it was so much fun. The owner, is super sweet and very good with kids and makes it really easy to learn basic decorating techniques. Not to mention, the cake was so delicious.

I ordered a vintage heart cake for my 30th birthday and it was amazing!! Abigail was super helpful while ordering, and the cake turned out perfect. I went with cookies and cream cake with crushed oreo buttercream - delicious!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Bae's Baekery. I was on the search for a bakery to design some cute desserts for my daughters 1st birthday party. From the very beginning, Abigail was very clear and thorough at explaining my options for my custom order. We ended up going with 2 dozen of their mini naked cakes on dessert rounds. Abigail listened to my needs, closely considered my inspiration photos, and absolutely created exactly what I had in mind! Pickup was smooth and on time - every person I came in contact with whether it be over the phone or in person was so kind and helpful. My guests loved the "mini cakes" (cupcakes practically) and didn't leave a single one left over. I’ll attach photos below. Thank you Bae's Baekery!!!

We were ABSOLUTELY. IN. LOVE. with our cake that Bae’s Bakery made for our elopement silent disco after-party. It was STUNNING. It was everything we could have ever wanted and better than we could have imagined. Design wise, I only described in my request “orange frilly piping, white base color… 70s sort of theme” and Abigail brought it to LIFE. I didn’t really know what to expect when I went to pick it up and was just blown away. Not only was it so stinking beautiful, it was also DELICIOUS! We ended up taking it home, putting slices in tupperware, and sharing it with everyone we saw over the weekend.

If you’re looking for an event cake, just don’t look anywhere else and submit a form with Bae’s. Seriously. Couldn’t have asked for more, it was so perfect. Will definitely be purchasing from here again.

Love, love this place!! It's a great addition to the Frankfort Ave area, and so glad that the heart of the former bakery can be lived on by such another locally owned business. Griffin and Abigail are both such genuinely nice people, who really care about providing yummy treats and support to their community!

My boyfriend and I got the Tomato Basil soup, and it was firee. I consider myself a very strong tomato soup lover, and it did not disappoint at all, tasted so fresh and flavorful, and was perfect for the dreary, cold day we ate it. We also got the Fruity Pebble cookie, which need I say more! The cookies are always a hit, highly recommend popping them in the oven before you eat to get the true experience :) Sadly no pictures due to how delicious it was and how quickly we devour it all , but will absolutely be back for more. Check out this awesome business and support some local members of Louisville, help keep locally owned businesses like this around!!

So far we’ve ordered 3 cakes from Bae’s and will continue to do so. Best cake I’ve ever had. My husband got us one in chocolate as a surprise when I was having a rough time and it was so good we had to try them again. We ordered marble cake for my grandparents 65th anniversary and they were so kind and accommodating when we had to reschedule due to illness. I was nervous about messing their schedule up but they could not be nicer. This weekend we got an Oreo cake for our anniversary. I love all things Oreo and this cake may be my favorite of the 3. It’s SO good!

The bakery is so cute, smells amazing and will make you want to take home one of everything. But even better than the fantastic goodies is the customer service. Abigail and Griffin are the sweetest people! We look forward to going back and will always support this local business!

Freaking awesome! We come several times a year. Christmas and in the fall will be traveling there tomorrow for valentines day ( surprise for wife). They are always friendly and cookies are on point! Cakes are great can't say enough good things. We come down from 1.5 hours away to enjoy the treats. You all that are local should be hitting them up weekly! Love Baes can't say enough good!

Been a fan of Bae's for some time now. May 13th 2023 was the last day they were in their old location so made one last trip there. Today, May 20th 2023, showed up to their new location grand opening to show some love... and they did not disappoint. The treats were on point, the coffee hot, and the location adorable. Had a craving for a snickerdoodle cookie which they do not carry.... but they do have a cinnamon roll cookie which was next level! It was thick, warm on the inside, and all the delicious flavors of a snickerdoodle. We also got a few other options I cannot wait to try! If you're in the area, definitely stop by!

YES YES YES YES! Abigail and her team are incredibly talented. From the moment we found Bae's in their original location, the staff was professional and was able to offer suggestions. Abigail is truly an artist at heart. She was extremely easy to work with to ensure that our cake was allergen friendly and not to mention how AMAZING the flavors were. Our guests raved about how amazing our wedding cake was (and no one noticed that it was gluten free!!!). We will continue to come to Bae's and hope to eventually try all of their amazing sweets.
