This is an amazing place to stay for a winter adventure. The cabin was very clean and well equipped with a beautiful jetted garden tub and a fireplace at the foot of the bed. I highly recommend checking it out for yourself sometime.

Outstanding for everything very nice and professional people had manager come on strong because we checked in got keys and Sundays office closes early but were early for getting room ready said we were happy to wait no rush they were fast at finishing and after manager figured out we were enjoying the beauty and happy to wait no rushing them he toned down but great place great beauty definitely gods beauty around there one of the better places I have visited ended up enjoying the chat with the manager but could of been greeted a little softer by manager

Stayed in cabin 2 for the weekend, breath taking views, amazing service, wonderful staff, great coffee and excellent bed. Would stay again and suggest you stay here too.

I can only speak to mini golf but it was fantastic here and very reasonably priced at $3 per person. It was so much fun and the course was very challenging. Only improvements I would say is the course needs to be swept of vacuumed off due to pine needles. We had a great time.
The lodge also looks cute from the outside.

This place is amazing! The room was clean and service great. Absolutely beautiful surroundings and the people were so friendly. We went in January so most things were closed for winter which made even more quite and rustic. Scott made us coffee every morning and shared a lot about the area. Highly recommend! We will be back!

A well kept rustic feel. Surrounded by beautiful mountain views this is a great place to stay for daily adventures. Mini golf on site as well as a pool and hot tub. There is a little coffee shop with simple breakfast and a stand that makes mountain berry shakes. Our room smelled fresh and was very clean. They do allow pets and charge a deposit fee for them. They don't allow you to leave your pets unattended inside your room. There are plenty of pet friendly restaurants in town though. I read several reviews before we booked and I noticed that everyone had a reply from management. It told me they care and when I got there it was proven.

This is our first time visiting Joseph and it's been such a great experience! Everyone here is so nice and welcoming! The cabin we are staying in is so nice, clean, cute, warm and cozy! I love it! The staff is super nice and helpful with recommendations and being very sweet letting us change to a different cabin that would be more suitable for my dad and I. Excellent location! I couldn't be happier thank you! Will recommend to others for sure! Can't wait to visit again soon!

We got in late and left early, the room was clean and comfortable. The gal that checked us out and had taken our reservations wad friendly and pointed was to a great place for breakfast!

Very nice stay! It looks like the outside of the whole lodge was renovated in recent years. The inside of our room was not, but it was clean and worth what we paid for it! Dog-friendly room did not smell like other dogs when we arrived! The hot tub and pool area is very nice, and we used it several times! Super-nice 5-10 minute walk to the lake, and right next to the famous tramway, so we liked the location! If we found a place right by the rushing river that is as reasonably-priced we might stay there instead, but that is highly unlikely!

Even as a pool and hot tub. Pool closed for off season, but hot tub felt amazing. Also, animal lover? Deer and red foxes roam openly!

This is a family summer vacation paradise. We stayed in a chalet room which was updated and very clean and comfortable. Great beds and strong AC. The staff were so friendly. There is a great little coffee shop on the property with delicious cinnamon rolls (reserve yours the day before as they sell out quickly). The pool and hot tub are perfect. Plus you are walking distance to 3 mini golf courses, the sky tram, go karts, ice cream shops and more! Also a hop and a skip to Lake Wallowa. Rent a boat at the marina for a fun day! You are also close to downtown Joseph with great shops and delicious restaurants. Our trip and time at the Eagle Caps Chalet is one we will never forget. We will be back someday for sure!

We will definitely be back! Such an amazing experience! I made an inquiry about check in times before making a reservation and they very quickly responded in the friendliest manner! Every single person we encountered was extremely friendly and our stay literally couldn't have been better. It's a truly beautiful area within walking distance to the lake and multiple little shops, restaurants and activities. Thank you guys for a perfect visit with my mom in your gorgeous hotel!!!

We loved our stay here! Such a nice cabin space for two people. The area is also fantastic and importantly is walking distance from the Wallowa lake marina (be sure to rent paddle boards!)

We loved this place! Rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable, the hot tub is nice, the people are very friendly and the location is gorgeous. It is a great value for what you get, sure there are fancier rooms to be had in the area, but we don't visit this area to sit in a hotel room! Get outside and enjoy the sights!

We stayed in Cabin 10 and had a wonderful time. There was 6 of us and there was probably room for 6 more. We enjoyed the fireplace and outdoor fire pit. The kitchen was well equipped and we used it to cook many meals. With small children the in room washer and dryer was appreciated. Inn staff was helpful and friendly and you gotta try the cinnamon rolls.

We made a very last minute decision to head out from Portland to eastern Oregon. We took a gamble on Eagle Cap Chalet and won! We stayed in the updated Honeymoon Cabin #8. It's updated with comfy features including a cozy fireplace, stylish cabin theme bedding, subway tile kitchenette backsplash, jacuzzi tub for two, wood tile shower and wall heater in the bathroom. There isn't room for a cozy chair or loveseat though, the kitchen chairs were fine for eating and card games. Wish there were light dimmers, those LED bulbs can be harsh. It's a great space for a night or two, but may get a little tight as time goes on unless you're out and about in the beautiful outdoors during the day. Terrific location to the tram, when sitting on the deck you can hear it run and see the line which is helpful if you want to walk over and get a ticket when there isn't a line. Great location to walk to the marina, restaurants, and activities.

We wanted to go to Joseph for Thanksgiving, but stay near Wallowa Lake. This place came up in my search and was one of the few places that did. They have accommodation options: cabins, condos, and rooms. We stayed in one of the cabins. It was cozy and inviting. Very well maintained. One of the amenities that will have us returning sets them apart from any other place we've ever stayed. Many places will advertise "pet friendly" and you can certainly take your pet. Eagle Cap, however, makes you feel as if your pet is sincerely welcomed. How? On the kitchen table, upon our arrival, was a bucket. Inside was a pet sheet, pet towels, water bowl, a couple of dog biscuits...everything you need to ensure your dog is comfortable while assisting in keeping the cabin clean. The only advise I'd give the proprietor is to not forget the add sheets to the sofa couch. We located blankets and pillows for our girls, but there were no sheets to sleep on.

I loved my experience at the Eagle Cap Chalets. We stayed in the honeymoon suite for a quiet weekend getaway. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We were there in the off season, and got wonderful recommendations for hikes, you can rent DVDs in the office, and the staff made suggestions about which ones might be most enjoyable. The jet tub was huge, and I was worried maybe there wouldn't be enough hot water to fill it, but that was not the case! Cute little patio off the back. A table in the room next to a cozy fireplace. Great place to enjoy your morning coffee and read on a cold morning. Overall just a wonderful experience. Thank you for being such kind hosts!
