Grind Gastropub & Kona Tiki Bar

Amazing place. I loved the bar, so much character. Our bartender (Autumn) was great, made us feel right at home. We ordered some apps and they were unbelievable. So good. The filet steak tip app is to die for. I was in heaven, until I went out the back door and they have a huge outside Tiki bar. Didn't think it could get any better, but wow. We are here on vacation, and I will visit this establishment at least once every day we are here!

Valentines day meal was phenomenal. And the waitress was just a wonderful person. We had an amazing meal.
Not one complaint. Grouper Cooked to perfection and then the filet was just unbelievable.
Appetizers had the best flavor. Coconut shrimp to die for.
Salad and dessert. 5*
I am so glad that they don't oversalt the food.
It was probably the best meal we've had in Ormond.and we are foodies.

TRY THIS PLACE! I was blown away. Almost everything was perfect. The atmosphere, the service, the food, the prices…so good. If I was threatened with foot tickling until I had a complaint it would be that the portions are a little small but the flavor more than makes up for it.
So good.

Definitely one of our favourites in the area. Food is better than just normal pub grub. We always sit in the back at the Tiki Bar, great atmosphere, service is always good. Large selection of draft beers

Loved the place. The food was good. I thought it was a good value. The service was fantastic. The atmosphere reminded me of a tiki bar.

The free valet parking was also appreciated.

Came here for Sunday brunch, let’s just say $22 for the all you can eat brunch buffet was not worth the money. The eggs were super wet, sausage was bland and the potatoes were not good at all! I will say though the atmosphere was very nice and the service was great! We will be back for sure to experience the outside tiki bar when it cools down.

Took the family here as our first dinner spot of our yearly beach trip. Thursday evening, about a 20 minute wait for a table out back near the stage. Vibe was peppy, with a mix of families and adults looking to start the weekend early in a respectful yet entertaining way. Our server was prompt and courteous, if a bit busy. All of the food was delicious, from the pizza, to the burger and fries, to the rice and beans (this one surprisingly so). Also, great beer selection. Will definitely return.

Gluten free supreme pizza, flies, burger, and brisket sandwich kept our crowd satisfied. Are Friends Electric provided great music.

The food and atmosphere at Kona Tiki Bar are great!!! Our favorite dish is the Johnny Be Gooda pizza, very creative and great Thai taste. Tried the Shrimp and Grits tonight and oh so yummy!!! The also have Mango Cart beer on tap!!! Would highly recommend this place in Ormond Beach!

We wandered into this interesting looking Pub on Grenada, thinking we would just "get a libation." But the menu of pizzas made us hungry, so we ordered a bruschetta pizza to share. It was perfectly cooked and sooo delicious! The young lady who served us (Hanna) was so accommodating as well. Definitely returning for another pizza!

The Grind is such a fun place to eat and drink. Their food is always top notch and the vibe is great! I always order something different and my meals are always great! Excellent beer selection as well I’d like to add. I always stop by here when I’m OB. Valet parking in the back.

Absolutely love The Grind and Kona Tiki Bar! Great outdoor seating around the back of the building. The "Johnny Be Gouda" Thai pizza is amazing! It has Thai chicken, red, yellow and green diced peppers, scallions, onions and some sort of semi sweet peanut butter drizzle that is to die for all baked on spectacular thin crust. For those worried it is too spicy, it is not. This particular pizza along with Stavros thin crust pizza are both some of the best pizza in town. We havent tried the other pizzas offered at The Grind so we can't comment on those...yet. We did try the wonton appetizer and it was great as well. The mango beer was light and brilliant tasting. We might need to get a growler of it from the Ormond Garage across the street (I believe these two restaurants are owned by the same people). FYI Ormond Garage is another great place to eat. Fantastic food! Make sure to try the Johnny Be Gouda pizza, it's the best pizza I've ever had. Also enjoyed several seafood selections from the main menu, everything was delicious!

Guys, this is the spot. The menu is off the hook. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is really fun. The lamb pizza you're going to see pictured was fan fantastic a cacophony of deliciousness in your mouth. Full selection of draft beers icy cold

Today was the second time I've been and the food was amazing again and the service was spectacular! It's hard to get consistency especially when you go during off times but they have not disappointed! Burgers, mahi tacos and Hawaiian sliders were great but the fries are the best in town! The menu names are creative and fun... definitely will be back for a 3rd time soon!

This is one of the best bars in Ormond Beach: cool atmosphere, food, service, and fantastic live music or events with different specials. You can choose to dine indoors or outdoors at the tiki bar. There's always a bunch of people to meet. We recently tried their weekend brunch, and it was awesome, too. Highly recommended

Kona Tiki Bar (and the adjacent Grind Gastropub) is a wonderful place to eat, drink, and relax in the beautiful Florida weather! We sat in the beautifully decorated and exquisitely themed tiki bar area. Ample fans and shade kept the area cool in the heat of summer. Quick and friendly service! Impressive menu with unique, tropical twists on standard Florida pub fare. Impressive beer menu!We went on an early Wednesday afternoon, so there was no live music, but the stage area was very prominent and artsy! Highly recommended!

We are new to the area and got lucky and stumbled upon The Grind and could not have been more pleasantly surprised. We were expecting typical sports bar fare wings and whatnot and what we got way exceeded our expectations. I had the Funky Chicken and the wife had a salad with marinated lemon chicken, both were delicious. Highly recommend this place for reasonably priced quality food served in a friendly atmosphere by a tentative staff. Can't wait to go back.

Great outside tiki bar, great beer selection and great menu with some unique choices, everyone in our group was pleased with their choice. Our server Blake was fantastic and entertaining! We will return this week for another late lunch (Sunch). Only downside is parking can be challenging but it's worth it!

I loved Kona! Also enjoyed a cocktail at Grind before dinner. It was a Monday night, and there was Karaoke. The crowd was retirement aged at Grind - and their Karaoke was on point - singing classics, so we grabbed a drink, listened for a bit and then went through the back door to Kona.
Kona had a great vibe. Open air, tiki-esque, and good music playing. Our server was Amber. She was knowledgeable about the specialty cocktails and the menu, which was extensive. We thoroughly enjoyed our drinks and our food. If you're on vacation, and you want good food, a pleasent vibe and great service, head to Kona, you won't be disappointed.
