RiverGrille on the Tomoka

First time going there and will definitely be back. Is just a friendly, good place laid back. The food was good and it was price right, nothing fancy just straight up delicious. Our sever was always checking in on us. We will be definitely be going back to try more of their dishes and drinks.

We came here for lunch. At lunchtime the service was highly attentive and our young server Brinley was fantastic! Great tasty food and reasonably priced. The river view is very nice, and every so often a train raced by. Fun place for a casual relaxing lunch.

We didn't eat here and we're disappointed the weather was cold, because all we wanted to do was sit at their outside bar. This restaurant is beautiful with so much character. The outside area is fantastic. We will be back when it's a tad warmer.

We came on vacation with the kids and was awesome. I ordered the flounder and my wife got the fried chicken sandwich with fries. We also shared an order of Gator bites. Kind of a novelty visiting Florida again!! Served as an appetizer and it was just enough for two adults and two kids to nibble on while we waited on our food. The kids also got a piece of the chocolate cake and it was very good and presented nicely. We were impressed and the staff was awesome. Would go back.

Food and Atmosphere was great! Waitress was okay, she forgot to put in our carryout order but didn't say much about it or offer to make it right just I'm sorry. We would definitely go back! If you have a party of 10 or under I recommend eating outside on the river with love music. It really makes it!

RiverGrill is a great old school Florida restaurant. Very good seafood. Friendly efficient service. Relaxed pleasant atmosphere. Provides a beautiful view of the Tomoka River.

Nice restaurant with pretty good food. Service wasn't the greatest but it was a busy night.

By far the best seafood boil i have had. Crab legs, jumbo shrimp, corn, potatoes, with very cold beer, awesome Cosmo, and best waiter by the name of Jonah. Everything was awesome! A MUST TRY!! Southern Boil #1 And the best view!

Nice dinner with family. Wednesday evening and they had live music. We had ribs, salmon, and Florida Reubens. I had seafood mac and cheese.(not pictured) It had scallops and shrimp in it. Very tasty.

An absolute favorite of ours! Everything is on point, and well worth the drive. Never a bad meal or drink here. 🌟

A fantastic place to eat, been coming here since I was a baby and have really enjoyed its service and views! The Jambalaya is the best thing on the menu, with just enough spice to keep both fans and haters of spice happy!

Just note: it can be very busy. If you do not plan to wait, you will not get the table you want!

JJ was a great server. The restaurant is huge. We saw it on the drive to Daytona and there were so many people we decided to stop on our way back. We are glad that we did. Great, tasty food and excellent service. Definitely recommend trying this place and we will stop by again. The outdoor seating and pier are great.

Had some Jambalaya that was excellent along with the view and service! Give them a try you won't be disappointed!

What a great Thanksgiving meal! We drove down from East Palatka, a 45 minute drive, and the three of us had a great dinner. Noah, our server, did a great job and was very attentive. The atmosphereand views are always great. Thanks again for a great day with great food.

This was our first visit to the RiverGrille. Upon arrival we expected a wait to be seated but we were not choosy about the location of our table (inside vs. outside) and we were seated inside right away.

Our server was cheery, helpful, attentive, and even gave her personal suggestions when I asked if there was any kind of special dish on the menu.

My companion ordered the Citrus Bourbon Salmon entreé with Garlic Mash Potatoes and Caribbean Blend Vegetables. I ordered the Stuffed Flounder entreé with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and grits.

Before our meals arrived and once we understood there were to be no complimentary bread, chips, fritters or munchies we began to revisit our decisions not to order salads. Ultimately we did add on small salads.

To me, how a salad is put together is a small detail that means a lot. My caesar salad arrived and I was so very excited to see all of the lettuce included was vibrant green and entirely lightly-coated with caesar dressing. This made for a wonderful salad experience and it was a delight to finish!

Our entreés were so very good. My companion mentioned it was the best salmon he'd ever had also keeping in mind he's new to Florida and had only ordered salmon a handful of times in his life. The cut and the way the salmon was cooked was very impressive to him!

For me, the hollandaise atop my crab-stuffed flounder was everything! Oh, what a comfort food this became for me! It was all I could have wanted in those moments.

Things went so well that we decided to order desert, the Florida Sunshine Cake. Ooh, wow! I cannot deny I imagined returning to RiverGrille to buy a full Sunshine Cake for any kind of celebration at hand. We loved it!

We made our way outside and down the stairs to the docks on the Tomoka River where the restaurant sits. We couldn't pass up an opportunity to snap a few shots of ourselves together to save this as a memory! A very sweet spot at sunset, it is. Check it out for yourself!

This is a must stop for anybody in Ormond Beach. Don't let the packed parking lot fool you. Plenty of space for everyone. Got us in and out in a very timely manner.

Drinks were spot on and the food was delicious. Service was efficient and friendly. Gets a thumbs up from everyone in this family, which is hard to do.
