Hull's Seafood Restaurant

Hands down the best seafood that I have ever had. We have been 4 times, and I can’t wait to go again. My advice, try the flounder, blackened!!! Great flavor and texture. We take every guest here, and they say the same things! The side are pretty great too! And the potatoes are delicious and perfectly cooked. The drunken sailor is a great drink, with a generous amount of alcohol.

My husband and I are here for dinner on a December Friday. We heard that it was popular, so we got here around 4:15. We decided to eat outside since it was a week or so from Christmas and the air was brisk.

Started with the red Sangria - it was outstanding! I do love Sangria and this was very fruity but you could still taste the wine and Cruzan Rum.

We shared the clams as appetizers. The garlic lemon butter wine broth was very flavorful and the clams were big, plump and properly cooked.

I ordered the large tossed salad with a crab cake. The salad was pretty average, but the dressings made it outstanding! They both tasted very homemade- blue cheese had chunks of blue cheese and the 1000 Island was smooth and tangy. The crab cake itself had plenty of crab and reminded me of Thanksgiving Stuffing combined with a crab cake- loved it! I love Hushpuppies so I ordered two. Some of the best because they had pieces of sweet red pepper inside - it really added a lot to the flavor.

My husband ordered the Fried Oyster/Grilled Scallop Combo. The oysters were pretty average, but the Scallops were the highlight of the entire meal (that and the Sangria!). They were huge, plump, perfectly cooked and not overcooked. The vegetable side was fine.

Our server Rob was excellent. Even though we have to drive an hour to get there, we will definitely return!

Nice, casual seafood restaurant. My daughter and I feasted on gator bites, grilled grouper, and a lobster roll. Our lunch was delicious. We especially liked the hush puppies. The food came out of the kitchen piping hot and there was plenty of it. Although we didn’t have to wait for a table, parking was a bit of a challenge. When I find myself back in Ormond, I’ll visit Hull’s again!

Staying in the area for the race, we were looking for a seafood spot and came across Hulls.....and we are so glad we did. We had a few coctails that were good and ordered a dozen IROC oysters from the raw bar as an app and they were delicious. My girlfriend had the yellowfin tuna....cooked perfectly, hush puppies and collard greens. I was lucky enough to try all three and would 110% recommend. I ordered the Grouper sandwich (live in the Northeast, so I don't get Grouper at all) with coleslaw. I asked for a side of Hulls spicy remoulade to put on it and it was soooooo good. Along with the very good service, the total check wasn't bad at all either. Ohhhhh and I almost forgot, we ordered a slice of Key Lime pie to take home.......phenomenal!!!!

AMAZING! This restaurant blew our expectations out of the water! They have 6 boats and catch their own fiSH. We were seated immediately, given menus and drink order taken. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and provided his own favorites, which is what we ordered. The shrimp cocktail was fabulous, as well as the red snapper, crab cakes, crab gumbo and squash. Best seafood, reasonably priced and TOTALLY recommend!

This place is outstanding. Best seafood within 50 miles. The oysters, shark, blackened shrimp and chowder were 12/10. The blueberry hushpuppies deserve an award! Do not sleep on this place. Also, our server made me feel like family! And don't get me started on price! This should have been a $300 dinner! So affordable! We will be back!

Hulls is always consistently delicious! The clam chowder is superb. The broiled captains platter is perfectly cooked with your choice of fish, shrimp, scallops, lobster tail, hush puppies and 2 side choices. There is special rum drinks, local beers and wine choices. The wine pour is generous which is a plus always! Didn't have room for dessert and there are a good variety if you have room or do take out. The children's menu has great choices and the chicken tenders were huge and delicious and super reasonably priced. You definitely get what you pay for and the service is spot on. We had Tiffany and she was very attentive, efficient and welcoming.

First time there. Sat outside. No wait tonight. Weather was cooperative. We had a dozen steamed oysters for our appetizers. Susie had rock shrimp, I got the catfish special. Great service, great food, magnificent atmosphere. Definitely have to return here.

Seafood and great atmosphere.
I loved this place and my husband had the best time bantering with our server. From the young man taking reservations to one of the hostess joking with us can't say enough. We will be back next year and hope they have the best employees when we do. Don't miss out getting a great meal and super awesome time. 5 star!!!

Every time we are in Daytona we visit this place for dinner. Tiffany was our server this time and she was dynamic. I ask for recommendations on certain drinks and she has never let me down. Every time we’ve visited this place we have been in awe of the wonderful service. Complimentary Valet parking is a bonus. Will return again and again. Highly recommended and the prices are more than reasonable.

Excellent as always. Haven't been there since remodel 4 years ago. Very clean. Excellent service from Gabriel. Food was properly cooked and seasoned. Tartar sauce was like Crack. You wanted more. Lol 😆

Wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere was a lite breezy outdoor Florida joy. The food was exceptional. Blackened Grouper and Scallops were done to perfection. The shrimp was large and tender. All the food was fresh and delicious. This is a great place for celebrating an anniversary to a group of friends gathering to enjoy a night out.
I can’t recommend Hull’s enough. It is well worth the price. Oh yea, the tropical red Sangria was delish.

After taking our pups to the bicentennial dog park, we decided to try some local seafood. We were told Hulls sold fresh fish, so we figured they would also serve fresh catch. We also read they are very dog friendly. The pups were immediately lavished with attention given water when we were seated on the patio. Even a few of the patrons came by to say hello to Milo and Sophie. Bob and I shared an appetizer of steamed clams in garlic butter. For our entree, we both ordered scallops and grouper. As expected, our seafood was very fresh. Even the veggies were crisp, not mushy. I do recommend ordering your fish blackened for the best flavor.
I look forward to eating there again.

Our server was so patient with us. My father is partially deaf and the girl was so kind patient and understanding. She wasn't worried about taking her time with us. Very clean and excellent food. I got the crab legs with an additional 2 sides for an up charge and my 7 year old got a massive piece of cod, it tasted so incredible. My parents got a lobster and a cod dinner. The cod was a little small it was like they switched the kids and the adults because my son's meal was bigger. My mother's lobster was phenomenal. The smile on her face was worth every penny. Call ahead to find out market prices on you lobster and crab. ENJOY, we did!
* Edit! We got blueberry hush puppies for dessert with a raspberry compote ❤❤❤ OMG they were the best part of the meal and I got crab legs. They were house made and phenomenal. I'm not a dessert person but these are FIRE🔥

Best place around the area for fresh seafood! All of it was amazing! The soups and calamari were very good. I got the lb of steamed key west pink shtimp and my husband got the broiled platter. Soooo good and big portions too! Fast service and very friendly staff. They have free valet parking & live music too!

This is a serious seafood restaurant with exceptional quality and fairly priced fish. I’ve never been disappointed at Hulls, over many visits through the years. The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail are colossal and excellent!

Fresh and delicious!
While on family vacation, we decided to give Hulls a try. We were not disappointed. We first ordered a dozen fresh chargrilled oysters. They were meaty with parmesan cheese on top. Then we ordered the shark bites, which were also good. They are locally sourced black reef tip shark, served with remoulade.
We then tried the grouper, flounder, scallops, and the conch. All were fresh and tasted amazing. Sides included coleslaw, red potatoes, Cuban black beans, and mixed vegetables. All the sides were delectable. Especially the hush puppies. In conclusion, if you want a fresh fish dinner, this is the place you need to visit when visiting the area

Best seafood in Central Florida. So fresh. The last time I ate there I had the rock shrimp and my dining companion had the Mahi Mahi. Both were delicious. We drove from Orlando about once a month for their seafood. They are also dog friendly on the porch.

OK, I got here at 4:30, and I figured I'd miss the dinner rush. Nope, the parking lot was packed. Oh well, i was able to get a parking space out front, and we made our way to the dining room. So, the service is exceptional, and our server got our drinks in a blink of an eye. I ordered the blackened grouper, with collard greens, and mixed veggies. Everything was very tasty. I will be back soon. Love this place ❤

This was recommended by a local and it did not disappoint. This place has a wonderful atmosphere and the food is amazing. I had the calamari and it had the right amount of battering to make it crispy and delicious. For the main course, I had the Rockefeller oysters and they didn't disappoint. I definitely recommend this place. Everyone in my party got different items and they were happy with what they ordered.
