Andy Romano Beachfront Park

The waves are powerful and the Beach builds a natural bench of sand you can sit on while having the ocean kiss your feet over and over . Everyone was spaced out enough to actually enjoy the ocean in your own world. The seagulls stick together while drawing their beautiful wings over the water together. Children running and laughing and the waves playing in the background is like a dream I never want to end ❤

Awesome place for a group picnic at the beach. Bring tent / canopy for shades. Well maintained bathrooms and kid play ground. The best part is FREE parking if you get there before the crowd ;)

Excellent place to park the ONLY downside is every single walkway to the beach is destroyed and you need to walk down the drive on entrance. I ended up just throwing everything over the seawall and having to walk around and reclaim it. GET THERE EARLY like 7am early or all the FREE parking is GONE. Splash pad restrooms and a playground for the kids and a good sized picnic area. Perfect for a family on a budget just pack smart and enjoy the experience

Beautiful place to enjoy the ocean. Parking was ample and there was no charge to park.

The playground is currently under construction so there is no access to it.

Access the beach from the left hand side of the parking lot (while facing the water- next to the hotel)

You can drive onto the beach if you've got a vehicle with 4x4

There are clean washrooms and a shower to rinse off both your whole body and just your feet.

I absolutely love Andy Romano park it is beautiful and we'll kept. I can't wait for them to fix the stairs to the beach. The hurricane tore the stairs away ... Sadly. But you can still enter the beach to the left 😄 I also got married here 💍 simple and beautiful ❤

We love this part of Ormond Beach! Hurricane Ian recently caused damage, but I know they'll have it back to its former glory soon! The grills and picnic areas are very nice. They have a nice little splash pad too.

My fiance and I came here for a picnic lunch at the picnic tables.

Unfortunately, it was entirely too cold outside to eat. We ate our meal in our car as we talked about how beautiful it was. We took a walk together as we looked out at the ocean.

This park has a small but lovely playground for children that is near the bathrooms.

There is a splash pad, I'm not sure when it opens or if you just have to walk across it for it to come on but, I was not about to test that theory lol!

The bathrooms were impressively clean for a high-volume park.

There are tons of stuff to look at on the walkway that provides information about the area, the animals that reside in the area, and the types of shells that may be found in the area.

The beach is beautiful all year long. The water in winter is cold lol! The summer is the best time to swim in the ocean.

Great place for the whole family. Clean bathrooms, showers, and free parking. Splash pad and playground a plus for the kids to enjoy.

I've visited beaches and beach parks on the west coast, and the east coast, and one common theme is lack of parking, or pay-to-park. That being said. it was a pleasant surprise to find this beachfront park - with TONS of FREE parking! But that's not all:

This park features plenty of clean restrooms, covered picnic tables, a playground and splashpad for the kids, a snack bar, and a super short walk to the beach.

This on is on my list for a return trip, for sure!

Great way to access the ocean and beach, free parking, lots of picnic tables with charcoal grills, some larger pavilions, and a splash pad for the kids.

Great beach and park for families with young kids!! We park about a block or 2 away and walk on the area most drive on the beach. The beach is long and flat, soft sand. Waves were very minimal while we were here. When our kids get hungry we head over to the cute little snack shack in the park. They have almost anything you’d want including homemade Italian ice and milkshakes! We had cheeseburgers and hot dogs and they were tasty. Prices not bad, either. After eating the kids can cool off in the splash pad in the park or play on the playground. Either way it’s a great day and a wonderful way to keep them entertained! Also bonus is bathrooms and showers to wash off.

Great park that’s right around the beach. Offers a splash pad and a play area for the kids with picnic tables. One stop place for all the beach fun.

Excellent picnic spot that overlooks the ocean. Take note that this isn't a sunset spot, but you might get a good picture of the moon rising from the ocean if you stay long enough.

It's excellent place for you enjoy a beach day with the family or your friends. There is a free off parking lot and a fantastic kids area with playground and splash pad. The family restrooms are cleaning. There are outdoors grill and many tables in the shaded pavilion.

We love coming to this beach, with 6 kiddos it has something for everyone! They love the playground and splash pad! I love the bathrooms, showers, and we all love the beach area! I hope they can get the ramps and stairs fixed soon.

Beautiful park. Extremely clean with lots of seating and tables. Wish it was dog friendly.

Just being here is like meditating. You can't improve on this space where everything is clean, safe and beautiful. I spent an hour here taking pictures and meeting people.

Too bad the access to the beach is closed due to the strong nor'easter a few weeks ago that swept away two feet of sand.Now the stairs don't' reach the beach! However, there is easy access just south of the park.

Great convenient place to park for beach access. Family friendly! Can't wait until all the damage from past hurricanes is repaired and the park is restored completely.

I can say andy ramono is great. Their will always be lazy people that can't help themselves but to disrespect the planet but yet the grounds people work hard to keep it clean. Their are alot of nice good people, the restrooms are spacious and nice, the splash pad and playground are great for the young ones. Just one of the best parts for myself is to be there to watch the sunrise and partly watch it set. My family absolutely love this place. Please just stop being lazy and put your trash in a can they are everywhere, just use them.

Great beach front park with free parking, clean restrooms, playground and splash pad. My favorite thing about this park is that the only driving traffic is for emergency vehicles so I don't have to worry about my toddler getting run over by inebriated Beach goers! Feels safe, have actually even seen the police patrol this park. Enjoy!
