Sarah J's Espresso Shoppe

Surprisingly great. Small little shop in a small town but the drinks we got were as good as any coffee shop I've been to. Starbucks should aspire to be as good as this. We had the iced Chai Tea Latte, Iced Mocha and Iced Thai Ice tea. We didn't have any of the food, but we did overhear someone say that it wad the best sandwich they ever had. Also the staff were really friendly. We went back and had the daily special tacos and the Italian sandwich and both just made this place even better.

We visited this coffee shop several times during crab last year; the coffee was so good and it was nice to have something hot in our hands after walking through the snow! The food was also delicious. I especially enjoyed the look of the shoppe; it was seriously so cute on the inside and I loved the little stove in the corner!

The ladies working were friendly and sounded like they were having a good time. The mocha and breakfast croissant were everything I hoped for, and more. Great ingredients and a very welcoming atmosphere. I can't wait to return!

Wow, if I could give more stars I would. Friendly service and an excellent turkey sandwhich. The white chocolate mocha was great too. A bit on the pricey side, but totally worth it.

So freaking delicious! Almost tempted to stay in town an extra day to eat here again. We had two of their special sandwiches (meatloaf and pulled pork) with a smoothie.

The smoothie was so good that my husband, who supposedly hates spinach in smoothies, kept stealing sips of my blue green smoothie.

Great tea, fantastic wraps and a super staff. Fun atmosphere. Cozy, standup only on the inside.

i went to haines last year with my class for a school trip. we were staying at the AMB hall, right next to this coffee shop. i want to give you my praise for having the best iced coffee ive ever had. normally, i dont like iced coffee, because it always tastes watered down, but this iced coffee was different, mainly because of the coffee ice they used. it was amazing, however, i got it on the last day of my school trip, and i was using every last cent i had to buy the iced coffee, this was also right before we got on a bus to go back to the ferry terminal. but when i was getting on the bus, i dropped it. i didnt have enpugh time or money to go back and buy another one, and even a full year later, im still not over it. anyways this is a fantastic little coffee shop, definatly a 5 star from me

These folks are awesome. Even when I came by one cold rainy Sunday when they were closed, but inside working on the place, they opened up and fixed me a latte and snack, and said to drop back by during the week when they're open if I wanted to pay for it. Just fantastic.

Best mocha I’ve ever had. Considering moving to Haines from Juneau just for the mocha. So glad I got snowed in here so I can get another tomorrow morning! :)

Absolutely amazing little cafe! We had the lunch specials (curried soup and some sort of turkey sandwich), and they were do die for. So good!

This shop sure has changed a lot. But they still offer great coffee and soft serve ice cream. There's a drivethru side and a walk-in side.

Soooooo good, the coffee and the bagels were awesome. Plus they had giant sized connect four outside!

This is a must stop in Haines. Food and coffee is great and having it out on the picnic benches the views are amazing. Get ready for the bird show!
